Touch of Nature - on the SU retiring list

Over the next couple of weeks I want to show you some cards made with stamp sets/accessories that are going to be discontinued on March 31st. Mainly because it's my very last chance to use them... and some of these have been my absolute favourite sets over the last year or two. It's good to have a chance to play one last time. Starting with "Touch of Nature". I didnt see the potential in this set immediately... my first thoughts was that it really wasnt my style. But funny how sometimes stamp sets just grow on you - especially when you see some gorgeous things that others have done with it. If you want to see what I used this set for previously, click here or here. There was also a card I posted only last week with the Butterfly on it. It's a beautiful set for watercolouring, and particularly I have used the bird and the butterfly over and over for various techniques. It's just one of the sets that I will miss.

This card was a simple one that I whipped together pretty quickly - I used this year's In colors too (also being discontinued) - both the ribbon and the cardstock. Dont know if you can see that I also used some Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the Blue Butterfly. But not everything on this card is being retired - the Choc Chip ink, the Short and Sweet stamps (the sentiment), the glitter and the Scallop Edge punch all staying and will be in the New Catty due out April 1st.

If you want to order this set Touch of Nature, it consists of 7 Stamps, and is available for $52.95 plus a small postage charge, delivered to your door, anywhere in Australia. To view all the stamps we have on offer, some of them marked down to 25% off in the current promotion, click on the picture of the Catalogue to the right of this post, here on my blog. Then email your order to me at higgiz@bigpond.com... what could be easier?

First time customers who have not previously ordered from me will receive an additional gift of ribbons if you order before March 31st 2009.
