Patterned papers on show

I wanted to share a couple of cards that I've been doing at some of my workshops this month - I wanted to showcase the Patterned papers as they are on special this month and I was looking for the perfect card to show them off. I had seen a card similar to this which I think may have been a swap from our Convention, although Im not sure, and I also dont know who created the original. My apologies to whoever that was... and if you are reading this please be sure to let me know so that I can give you the credit! But what I did was change the colours and the sentiment and the scallop edge, so I made it more my own anyway. I thought you'd like to see it in two different colour schemes - the first features the Urban Garden DSP, and the second uses the Bella Rose set. I love them both, although being more of a blues girl, I am leaning toward the Urban Garden as my fave. What do you guys think?

All Occasions Card Class this Wednesday - still a few places left

I still have 3 seats available at this week's All Occasion Card Class and I thought you might like to see a couple of the cards we are making. The card above is the Masculine card out of the four cards, and I quite like how it came together. You can add a sentiment to personalize it but I've left it blank here. I actually decided to combine my need for a Masculine card with Makeesha's colour challenge to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

Another of the cards for our class this week is one I had on the blog a couple of weeks ago:

The class is $20 and you'll make 4 cards altogether. Come and have some fun. Email me at higgiz@bigpond.com to book in.

More Bling - what do you think??

I am so happy with this! Yesterday I was playing with my new Sticky Cuts in preparation for tonight's Bling Class, and I thought I would see how they look on my Linen Scrapbook album. Well I think they look pretty good dont you?

I've used the Sticky Cut shapes with our new Fine Supernova glitter and I think I might be hooked. This is not a project that I'm doing at the class tonight, although we are going to have a play with them and make a gorgeous card. (I'll show you the card in the next few days if you're not coming to the class) I am always amazed myself at what we come up with for these classes, and I cant wait to show you the projects.

Still 2 places left if anyone wants to join us - class details are over on the right-hand side bar. Email me at higgiz@bigpond.com to book in - or call my mobile which is 0412 375 552.

What do you guys think of my 6x6 album?? Not so plain anymore is it? Here's a close up:

Bling Things - Sneak Peek

Thought you might like a sneak peek of what we are going to be making at Thursday Night's bling class. Just one of the gorgeous projects we are making that night. This card is based on one I saw at Convention last week that was created by Ngaire Anderson - thank you Ngaire for the inspiration! I changed it around a bit, and in fact the ones that we are doing on Thursday night will be in different colours and patterned papers... so Im not giving away too much.

It's a bit hard to see all the glitter in the photo. But in real life it's pretty sparkly, and I think it's really cute. Here's a close up:

So if you would like to join us, at the time of writing this I have 2 spaces left in this class. Classes are held at my home in Narara on the Central Coast. It will start at 7.30pm and you'll make several sparkly projects. The cost is $20, and a light supper is also provided. If you would like to come along please email me at higgiz@bigpond.com I will give you the address details when you book in.

Hope to see you there!
