I have been having so much fun with the new In-color range in our new mini catalogue, and I thought that I would share some of that fun with those of you up for some colour swapping. There are three options when it comes to taking part and here's how it works:
1. New In-color dotty ribbon. There are 3 colours: Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede and Melon Mambo (colours are shown in the picture above). These are sold by the roll (approx 13.7 metres per roll, 1/2" wide) and normally cost $19.50 plus postage. You can be part of a swap and you will pay $19.50 (no postage required) for a third of each roll of all 3 colours.
2. New In-Colour A4 Cardstock.. same three colours as the ribbon. You will pay $10.50 (therefore saving on postage) for a third of each pack of the 3 colours ie 8 sheets of each.
3. Both the In-color ribbons and cardstock (a third of each) would normally cost $30 plus postage ($31.50) But you can receive all of these for $27.50. So you will receive a third of each ribbon colour and a third of each pack of In-color cardstock from the new Mini catalogue that was released April 1st.
This is a great way to get your hands on a variety of ribbons at a cheaper price. Please note that you are getting free postage on these deals (even more on option 3).
Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org to place your order. This is my own special and is therefore not available from other demonstrators.
Swaps are always popular so contact me soon so that you dont miss out.

Just a quick post tonight.. I had a go at this week's Taylored Expressions challenge and thought you might like to see the result. Sometimes I find challenges the very best way to get a bit of inspiration... and I have to say that I really like this simple little card. It was made extra special by the sponging around the edge of each square of patterned paper, and by the very beautiful Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon (this is my favourite ribbon that we have this year.. I dont use it all that much as it is extra special... but how beautifully does it tie a bow??) Of course that Bella Rose paper ALWAYS looks good... its hard to make a bad card with it! LOL
So here is the original sketch that I worked from. Hope you enjoy this card on this Anzac Day 2010.
Lest we forget.

Those of you who have attended my classes or workshops of late would have heard me talking about starting a Big Shot Club. I have now decided to put this here so that people can see how it works and make their decision a little bit more informed. So here we go:
Big Shot Club - 2010
Have you been considering getting yourself a Big Shot but you are thinking that you don't want to outlay all that money at once? Have you been thinking that you would like to own some of our lovely dies as well? Thought that whilst you are at it you would like to earn some hostess benefits without having to actually hold a workshop yourself? Unable to make it to my classes due to distance?
Then it may be that the Big Shot club is just what you are looking for.
It works a lot like a regular stamp club. You pay $50 per month. Here's what you'll get over the 6 months:

Mats (Value incl shipping cost $188.95)
*Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Value incl shipping $16.75)

• A FREE online BIG SHOT tutorial or Tips & tricks from me with easy to follow instructions and diagrams each month
• Hostess benefits 1 month out of the 6 (a minimum of $30 to spend and a free Level

The cost of the club is $50 per month (shipping is included) or $55 for long-distance customers.
The first three people to offically join the club will receive their Big Shot in Month 3.
We can get started as soon as we have 6 people although I would really like to get started at the end of May. EARLY BIRD SPECIAL... join the club before the end of April and receive a pack of A4 Cardstock valued at $10.50 (colour of your choice). After all, you are going to need some paper to cut! :-)
Contact me ASAP to get more information or to join - my email is email@example.com. Or you can call me on 0412 375 552 First in best dressed when it comes to hostess benefits as I will allocate them in order of joining.

I thought you would like to see what we are making at tonight's Stamp-A-Stack. The theme this month is Masculine and Feminine. So that means we are making 3 feminine cards and 3 Masculine cards for a total of 6 cards (we make 3 of each design). I find these classes book up nicely each month (I guess people always want to add to their stash of cards) so look out for May's SAS to boost your card supply! In the meantime if anyone would like to join us this evening, I can squeeze one more in. The cost is $15 and the start time is 7.30pm. So if you would like to join us, please let me know. You can either email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call my mobile which is 0412 375 552.
For those already booked in, I am really looking forward to tonight's class.
Here are the cards close up:

I thought that you would like to see what we are making at our Big Shot Classes this month. Aren't these cute? And the amazing thing is how quickly the Big Shot can produce all these super-easy projects. Even I am surprised how much I am using it. I have one class tonight (Friday 16th April) and one class next Wednesday 21st April (although next Wednesday's class is almost full). I do have spaces left for tonight though if you are reading this and thinking that a night out crafting and learning something new sounds like you! The cost is $20 and you will go home with these 4 projects and a mind overflowing with lots of great new ideas! Start time is 7.30pm and all materials and light refreshments are provided. Classes are held in my home in East Gosford on the Central Coast.
ETA: Sadly I have had to cancel tonight's Big Shot class due to illness, however the good news is that I have postponed it to Friday night the 30th April if you would still like to join us.
Or if you cant make it to a class contact me to find out how I can come to you and show you some great ways to make some very cool stuff.
