Some Good News

Just a quick card for you today... there is just so much going on right now! This is one of the Christmas cards that we made at a Stamp-A-Stack earlier in the month. Hope you like it... it's difficult to see that the medallion is actually embossed in clear embossing powder. I love that shiny background look on my cards!

I dont usually post a lot of personal stuff here on my blog... (I figure that's what we use Facebook for).... But I did want to share with you my news of the day. We found a house to live in! After searching for weeks in vain, and getting rejected for various houses that we had a applied for, we finally came up trumps today! So I am on the move again.. and will be moving over the next couple of weeks. Hence my class schedule in October is very lean.. my apologies for this, but I hope to be back into things again towards the end of the month. (I also have my reward trip to Hamilton Island coming up with SU this month, so that's another reason). Not that I'm complaining about that one! And I am certainly going to need a break by then don't you think???

In the meantime I wanted to share this month's promotion on our Demonstrator Kit... if you've ever thought about joining, now an awesome time. Not only has the kit been reconfigured and is now available at a cheaper price, but until the 15th October you also receive an additional InColor bundle valued at $85 ! How cool is that? If you would like to receive an information pack, please just contact me. My email address is lindastamps@bigpond.com, or you can call me on my mobile which is 0412 375 552. Seriously, why not? I so love this business and hobby... I just want to share it with as many people as I can.

Enjoy xx

CASEing my own cards!

Hmmm... do you think it counts as CASEing when it was your own work that inspired the CASE?? I was very fortunate to have 3 of my cards published in the July/Aug Australian Stamping and Papercraft magazine. Being published is always such a buzz!!! After I had made those 3 cards, I made this version of one of them.. it uses the same stamp set and colours, but the design is more "all over" than the original cards.

But I do love this card, and I hope you love it too....

Just quickly I will be away for a few days, so if I dont reply to your comments or emails quite as quickly thats because I am not around. But I will be back soon, with more to show you...

Have fun!

Ribbon Swaps Again

Just adding to the previous post about the ribbons (either scroll down, or click here for more info) - I promised that I would attempt to get some photos up for you. Well thanks to my friend (and fellow demonstrator) Nerida who kindly took the photos, here they are!

These ones you see first are the satin ribbons.. all 13 colours of them! My personal favourites are the Marina Mist and Rich Razzleberry, but I am sure you will have your own favourites. :-)

And now for the Poly-stitched ribbons:

The ribbon is so soft! My favourite in this group is the Concorde Crush ribbon... its right in between blue and purple (or Night of Navy and Elegant Eggplant to be mroe precise) and I love it!!!

Let me know if you want to share in the ribbon swap.. its a great way to get all the colours you want for a much smaller price! Just email me at lindastamps@bigpond.com to join in.

Ribbon Swaps September 2010

Wow... what a big week it has been! I do hope that everyone that attended my launch events over the past few days enjoyed their projects and a wonderful time of socializing. In particular our Launch event that we hold with other demonstrators at the Baptist Church Hall is always a noisy assembly of like-minded people getting together to craft and chat (lets not diminish the need for women to socialize whilst they are crafting.. it's part of the fun!). Just today I have heard from several of the girls saying what a great time they had and that they cant wait to do it again. Dont worry, there will be lots of future opportunities to do just that, and stay tuned for the next Mini-Catalogue release when we will hold our next launch.

So.. in the meantime I thought we should start the first of the Ribbon Swaps from the new Idea Book and Catalogue. I am going to start with just two for now, and depending on demand will run others as need be. Here are the deals:

Swap No. 1
Join in our Satin Ribbon Share $29.00 (page 137 of your new IB&C) The ribbons are available in 13 gorgeous colours (my personal favourites are the Marina Mist and Rich Razzleberry). You will receive an eighth share of each of the 13 satin ribbons. (Approximately 1.7m of each of 13 colours). All this for only $29.00! What a great way to get all the colours you want without having to buy each one separately.

Swap No. 2
Join in the In-color Poly-Stitched ribbon swap for $17 - and you will receive a 1/5th share (approx. 2.7m) of each roll of the new In-color ribbons. You are basically getting free postage if you take part in this Poly-stitched ribbon swap.

So as a little extra incentive.. if you take part in both ribbon swaps (total cost
is $46) you will also receive a free Stampin Write marker in the colour of your choice.

I will post photos of both ribbons over the next few days (I have misplaced my camera, but will have a photo for you as soon as I find it!)

To take part contact me on my email which is lindastamps@bigpond.com and we can sort out payment details (cash, direct deposit or credit card) on a case-by-case basis. Please specify which swap you wish to take part in (or indicate if you wish to be in both). I will be ordering ribbons when we have enough people to take part. I hope to fill at least one swap and maybe even a second.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Launch Sneak Peek

This week I am holding my launch events for our new Catalogue, and I thought I would give you a sneak peek of one of the cards we are making on the night. I just LOVE our new Love Letter DSP (rrp $16.95), and so I used it to make this card. I used one of the cards on the cover of our new Idea Book and Catalogue as my inspiration. That's one of the best things about CASEing other cards... you change the colours, stamps and even design elements and it becomes totally your own card. This card is a long way from the one that I copied, but if you know, you can still see some of the basic elements in there. I also added the Eiffel Tower image from the Artistic Etchings stamp set (rrp $33.95) - it matches the Love Letter paper so well. The colours are Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla and Black... so classy.

I was really really happy with the end result... I would love to know what you think too!

My New Friend

.... and OH MY GOODNESS... how cute is he???? Can you believe he is a punch???

This card is a shameless CASE (copy) of one that was featured in our most recent Impressions magazine (the magazine that Demonstrators receive each month). I just had to do my own version of it. I also used the new Gala Greenhouse paper, new Scallop Trim Border, and even one of our new Vintage Brads (LOVE THEM!!!)

Like it??

Dont forget to place an order just contact me at lindastamps@bigpond.com or you can view an online catalogue here.

Have fun!

New Stuff - Woo Hoo!!!

Hello everyone! I am so relieved to be here, after living without a computer for the past week or so. And what a week for my hard drive to crash! The last couple of days of the old catalogue, and then the brand new one arrived... and I couldn't tell anyone about it! You have no idea how frustrating that was! Actually, you probably do.

But anyway.. I'm here now. We have a GORGEOUS new catalogue to play with and I am so excited to show you what's on offer! There is 161 pages of pure happiness in it's pages!!! Can you tell I'm excited???

You can link to the new catalogue by clicking here or you can click on the picture of it over on the right hand side of my blog. I love so many things in it that it's scary! But for today I wanted to show you a card I made with the very classy "Artistic Etchings" set (rrp $33.95 plus p&h for a set of 6 stamps). I used our brand new "Vintage Wallpaper" embossing folder (rrp $15.95 plus p&h) through the Big Shot to get that lovely red background. The ribbon is also new - it's the Black and White Striped Grosgrain ribbon (rrp $19.95 plus p&h for a roll of 9.14m). Like it? Have to say I am pretty happy with it myself!! It's pretty easy to make beautiful projects when you have the tools to do it!

So how can you get your hands on a new catalogue? Easy! Here's how:

1. Buy one for $10 (rrp is $12.95) - if you need it posted out it will be $15 to include postage.
2. Host a workshop and get one for free.
3. Host a "catalogue workshop" - where you take a catalogue and collect orders. If you collect over $300 in orders you also receive substantial hostess benefits.
4. Special offer available to the first five takers: Order the Artistic Etchings set and the Striped Grosgrain ribbon in your choice of colour (rrp $56.59 including postage) and you will automatically receive the Catalogue with your order. This little special is available to my blog readers only.

Please note these are my own specials and not those of Stampin Up!

To take part in any of these specials or to receive more information please contact me at lindastamps@bigpond.com

In the meantime enjoy the card, and I have lots more where that one came from!!!
