It's Swap time... new ribbons and cardstock. Yay!

I have been having so much fun with the new In-color range in our new mini catalogue, and I thought that I would share some of that fun with those of you up for some colour swapping. There are three options when it comes to taking part and here's how it works:

1. New In-color dotty ribbon. There are 3 colours: Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede and Melon Mambo (colours are shown in the picture above). These are sold by the roll (approx 13.7 metres per roll, 1/2" wide) and normally cost $19.50 plus postage. You can be part of a swap and you will pay $19.50 (no postage required) for a third of each roll of all 3 colours.
2. New In-Colour A4 Cardstock.. same three colours as the ribbon. You will pay $10.50 (therefore saving on postage) for a third of each pack of the 3 colours ie 8 sheets of each.
3. Both the In-color ribbons and cardstock (a third of each) would normally cost $30 plus postage ($31.50) But you can receive all of these for $27.50. So you will receive a third of each ribbon colour and a third of each pack of In-color cardstock from the new Mini catalogue that was released April 1st.

This is a great way to get your hands on a variety of ribbons at a cheaper price. Please note that you are getting free postage on these deals (even more on option 3).

Please contact me at lindastamps@bigpond.com to place your order. This is my own special and is therefore not available from other demonstrators.

Swaps are always popular so contact me soon so that you dont miss out.

Taylored Expressions Challenge #110

Just a quick post tonight.. I had a go at this week's Taylored Expressions challenge and thought you might like to see the result. Sometimes I find challenges the very best way to get a bit of inspiration... and I have to say that I really like this simple little card. It was made extra special by the sponging around the edge of each square of patterned paper, and by the very beautiful Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon (this is my favourite ribbon that we have this year.. I dont use it all that much as it is extra special... but how beautifully does it tie a bow??) Of course that Bella Rose paper ALWAYS looks good... its hard to make a bad card with it! LOL

So here is the original sketch that I worked from. Hope you enjoy this card on this Anzac Day 2010.

Lest we forget.

April Stamp-a-Stack Cards

Hello Everyone....

I thought you would like to see what we are making at tonight's Stamp-A-Stack. The theme this month is Masculine and Feminine. So that means we are making 3 feminine cards and 3 Masculine cards for a total of 6 cards (we make 3 of each design). I find these classes book up nicely each month (I guess people always want to add to their stash of cards) so look out for May's SAS to boost your card supply! In the meantime if anyone would like to join us this evening, I can squeeze one more in. The cost is $15 and the start time is 7.30pm. So if you would like to join us, please let me know. You can either email me at lindastamps@bigpond.com or call my mobile which is 0412 375 552.

For those already booked in, I am really looking forward to tonight's class.

Linda :-)

What we are making at our Big Shot Classes this month

I thought that you would like to see what we are making at our Big Shot Classes this month. Aren't these cute? And the amazing thing is how quickly the Big Shot can produce all these super-easy projects. Even I am surprised how much I am using it. I have one class tonight (Friday 16th April) and one class next Wednesday 21st April (although next Wednesday's class is almost full). I do have spaces left for tonight though if you are reading this and thinking that a night out crafting and learning something new sounds like you! The cost is $20 and you will go home with these 4 projects and a mind overflowing with lots of great new ideas! Start time is 7.30pm and all materials and light refreshments are provided. Classes are held in my home in East Gosford on the Central Coast.

ETA: Sadly I have had to cancel tonight's Big Shot class due to illness, however the good news is that I have postponed it to Friday night the 30th April if you would still like to join us.

Or if you cant make it to a class contact me to find out how I can come to you and show you some great ways to make some very cool stuff.

Happy stamping!

Big Shot Creations

I've been having so much fun playing with my Big Shot die cutting machine ever since I got it last month. I thought I should start showing you some of the stuff I've been making with it. We have so much new product in our new Autumn Mini Catalogue that its almost crazy! But I have been enjoying it all so much that I know you guys will too.

The card you see here features a few of our brand new choices. The Big Shot has been used to create both the Top Note shape behind the bird, and the Embossed dotty white background. The bird is punched out with the "Extra-large 2-step Bird" punch using the beautiful "Cottage Wall" Designer Series Paper. The Colours are from our brand new "In-color" range featured in the new catty. I have used "Rich Razzleberry" for the Top Note shape, and the base card is "Soft Suede". The ribbon is also new, the Soft Suede dotty grosgrain ribbon. Cute huh?
I have to thank Vanessa Webb for inspiring me with her beautiful card! Its great working with friends whose work you admire.. especially when they dont mind when you CASE their work!
This card will also be featured in my Big Shot classes to be held on the 16th (Evening) and 21st (Day) of April. For more details see over on the right-hand sidebar of this blog under Upcoming classes.

To see our new products, click on the image of the Autumn-Winter Mini over on the right-hand sidebar. (You need to actually be on my website to do this.. it wont work if you do it from the Feedblitz Email.) And of course to order your own hard copy of the catty (or to order products) just contact me at lindastamps@bigpond.com I am happy to post product anywhere in Australia for a small charge. (Of course there is no charge for the catalogue to be posted)
Enjoy!
