Merry Christmas Shaker Card for this month's Stamp club!

Today I wanted to show you what I have planned for my daytime stamp club group.  We get together to create every second month (usually the last Wednesday of the month) and I always have a cute project to create with them.  This month I have used the Beautiful Blizzard bundle to create this lovely shaker card.  Im sure they will like it!

The Beautiful Blizzard bundle is available in our latest Holiday catalogue.... its a gorgeous collection of images available in either clear mount rubber or wood mount rubber.  I got to see some amazing projects created with this on the recent Alaska cruise with Stampin'Up.... and right there and then I knew I would love it!  I've seen it done in many colours, but today I am having a love affair with Mint Macaron and Tranquil Tide... dont they look awesome together??

Stamp clubs are the perfect way to get all the products you want, and learning new ideas and techniques  along the way.  Right now I have one spot available in Stamp club.  There is no cost to attend each gathering.... but at each club day you commit to purchase a minimum of $50 worth of products.  Each member takes their turn at being the hostess of the day, and on their host day they receive the host benefits.  I can thoroughly recommend joining Stamp club.... you will make exclusive projects that I dont share at other classes.  The commitment is one year.... so we get together 6 times altogether.

Interested?? Email me by clicking HERE and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.  We would love to have you join us!

(And by the way... if you like this bundle and these colours you are going to LOVE my Video Tutorial coming out next month in the Video Tutorial bundle group! Stay tuned.....)

First Frost and the Frosted Florals Suite

One of my absolute favourite things in our new Holiday catalogue is the Frosted Florals suite (try saying that fast a few times!).   The DSP in this suite is simply DIVINE..... with a beautiful sheen over all the pieces in the pack (hence the "frosted" look).   I have been using it on my last few cards, and every card is stunning!  Its hard to create a bad card when your materials are so amazing!  And I love that this bundle works all year round... not just at Christmas!

Today's card is one I made yesterday.... and although I am sure it looks pretty here, its nothing on how it looks in real life! For starters you cant really see the frosted look to this paper in a photograph.  And the stamped images are gorgeous too.... when you stamp with these stamps you get that lovely dimensional effect.  The images stamp in dark and light tones, even though I just used the one colour (in this case Berry Burst).  The framelits that cut out the stamps make it much quicker and easier of course.

I've included a product list below for you.

Enjoy!

Bakers Boxes are perfect for gift giving this Christmas!

If you are looking for an easy but beautiful way to give gifts this Christmas (especially gifts of the baked variety) may I suggest our gorgeous Bakers Boxes??  These boxes are food safe to house all your baked gifts (think cupcakes and cookies!) as well as anything else you might care to put inside.  They are easy to decorate and personalise, and you get 8 of them in a pack for only $12.25 so they are economical too.

I decided to leave my box white in today's example.  You can of course colour them with spritzers and re-inkers, but I kept mine simple.  I used the gorgeous Merry Merlot and Copper reversible ribbon to tie around the box, and cut snowflakes from my Copper Glimmer paper with the Blizzard Thinlits die. The circle is from the Joyous Noel DSP, and the word "Merry" is from the Merry Christmas thinlit set.  We made these at my launch recently, and I also added a shortbread star cookie (wrapped in Cello) in the box, and they looked great!

I have included a product list below should you wish to order any of these items for yourself... just click on what you want to be taken to the Online Store where you can browse through lots of gorgeous products.  And if you are in Australia, your items will be delivered to any Australian address for a low postage charge.

If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to contact me!

PS Although my ribbon and paper share has officially closed, I can still offer a couple of leftover shares so please get in touch if you would like the last available spots! Open to Australian customers only!

Video Tutorial: Shimmer Paints in any colour you choose!

At my technique classes this week I featured our gorgeous new Shimmer Paints, and showed some different ways to use them.  So today I thought I would share one of those techniques here on the blog, and have also created a new YouTube video tutorial to show exactly how to do it.  For this technique we are colouring the shimmer paint, and I've also used that coloured shimmer to highlight the fabulous embossed wreath on this card.  Its actually very simple and the video isn't long... so click on the video link below to check it out.

While you are there please subscribe to my YouTube channel so that you won't miss any future video tutorials that I post, and you can also go back over lots and lots of different tutorials that I have posted in the past.  I love creating these videos for you!  Be sure to let me know what you think!

Enjoy today's tutorial and this cute card.  Dont forget that if you wish to purchase any of the items you see, you can order them through my Online Store... just click the SHOP NOW button above.  Products are sent directly to you, anywhere in Australia for a low postage charge.

Still spots at our Shimmer Paint classes this week!

Ok... so its no secret that I do love a bit of bling.... sparkly shiny goodness does it for me every time!  So I am definitely celebrating the return of shimmer paints in our new Holiday catalogue... we did have these a few years ago, and I was very sad when they retired them.  You can imagine my excitement at them not only returning, but now we have never before seen colours! We have Champagne and Frost White, as before, but we also have gold and copper!  Woohoo!

So today my copper shimmer paint has been getting a workout with this card.  For those coming along to my Shimmer Paint technique classes this week, you will be making this one.  Its a fairly straightforward card to make... but the shimmer definitely gives it a "wow" factor!  And the Merlot glimmer behind the sentiment, as well as the Copper/Merlot ribbon doesn't hurt either.... i am LOVING all the gorgeous embellishments and accessories in this catalogue!  The only thing I am sad about is that its really hard to capture all that shiny goodness in a photograph.

(If you'd like to see it better there's a little video of it over on my Facebook business page which shows off the shiny shiny better)

If you would like to join us for class this week you will find the details below:

Evening Class - Tuesday 11th September @ 7.30pm

or

Daytime Class - Wednesday 12th September @ 11.15am

We'll be making 3 projects together and you'll learn some cool ways to use those gorgeous shimmer paints! Cost is $25 for technique classes.

Please click HERE to email me if you would like to attend!   Or email me if you would like me to send you a new Holiday catalogue for free!

Christmas Elegance in Black and White with the Dashing Reindeer bundle

Black and White probably isn't an obvious choice for Christmas, but there is certainly something very elegant about the combo..... and I REALLY wanted an excuse to use that Delicious Glittered black ribbon and new Black Foil!  So this card came into being...

I used the new Tin Tile embossing folder for my background... here I've embossed Champagne Foil with the folder, and then grabbed my Stazon black inkpad and rubbed it over the embossed surface for a vintage look.  It also highlights the design beautifully! I then used my Scalloped Tag Topper punch to create the central tag, and used the long floral stamp from the Dashing Deer stamp set to create the floral "stripes" towards the bottom of the tag. How gorgeous is that new black glittered ribbon? And it holds its shape when you tie it, so its super easy to use!  The reindeer was cut with one of the reindeer shapes from the Detailed Reindeer thinlits... and I used our new Black Foil for this... if you are trying to find it in the new Holiday catalogue, you will find it on the Halloween page towards the back.  In fact, the new glittered ribbon is on the same page.  I quite often use Halloween items for Christmas and other occasions.... you just have to think outside the square!

I've also included a product list below... if you wish to purchase any of these items just click on what you want and you will be redirected to my Online Store.

I had a lot of fun creating this card.... and it was also one of our projects at my catalogue launch yesterday!  Did you miss the launch?  Dont worry... I'll be posting some Youtube tutorials in the coming days, as well as doing some Facebook Lives over on my Facebook Business page to showcase new products.  So there are lots of opportunities!  And if you live in Australia, and would like a Holiday catalogue sent to you, just message me, and let me know.

Enjoy today's card.... I'll be back with more real soon!

(By the way, next week's Technique classes are all about different ways to use these new Shimmer Paints so dont forget to check that out too!)

No more waiting... its TODAY! Our new Holiday Catalogue products are available!

Today is the day!  From now you can order your Holiday Catalogue products!  And what a gorgeous catalogue it is... so many things to love!  I had hoped to post even more completed projects over the past few days, but instead I've been at the hospital with this character:

Dont you like our fetching hats??  The good news is that he is home now, but minus an appendix!  Lucky you dont really need those things anyway!

It reminds me again how fortunate I am to have a job where I not only make money doing what I love, but when needed I can take time off to look after my family.  Im the boss, so days off are never a problem!  I am SO GRATEFUL for Stampin'Up and the flexibility and freedom it allows me to have.  Seriously if you have EVER thought about being a demonstrator, it is truly a remarkable way to earn money.  And I've just realised I am 2 days away from my 12 year anniversary with them!  Hmmm... I might have to do something special on my Facebook Page for that..... make sure you stay tuned!

So instead of crafting Ive been being a mum.  Which means I haven't been posting much either.  Hopefully he goes back to school next week and things will get back to normal!  If ever you are checking here and wondering where I am, might I suggest that you like or follow my Facebook Business page, or my Instagram account.  I do tend to post in those places more often than here, and even some things that don't end up here at all.  You can even order your products through the Facebook Page if you choose.  But the most important thing is just to connect somewhere... Ill always try to post what is new whenever I can.

Here's a card I did for classes this week... because of everything going on, I kept the cards really simple.  That way my prep time is less, and my ladies still loved them! Who says cards have to be complex to make an impact?  Definitely a case of Less is More!

I hope you enjoy it... if you are coming to today's class you'll be making this one today too!

Enjoy!

5 More days til our gorgeous new Holiday Catalogue and this gorgeous Dashing Deer bundle!

Yep Im at it with Reindeers again.  I LOVE the Detailed Deer framelits that match the Dashing Deer stamp set (together they are known as the Dashing Deer Bundle).  And I think you will see a lot of this guy in particular... I call him the "Flying Reindeer".... probably he is meant to be leaping, but I think he could be flying too.....

I've added some other Holiday Catalogue goodies on this card too.  The background paper is the gorgeous Joyous Noel Speciality DSP.... if you look closely you should be able to see the copper foil accents in this paper!  I think it will be hugely popular!  My circle is cut from the new Glimmer Paper pack... I used Tranquil Tide.  And the background stamps and sentiments are also from the Dashing Deer stamp set.  Its not a tricky card to make at all, but all these elements fit together so well!

Keep checking back for more sneak peeks before the catalogue goes live.... and dont forget I have my catalogue launch on the 8th @ 2pm.... I still have a couple of spots left right now!

Dont forget that the new Holiday catalogue will be LIVE on the 5th September!  I cant wait to play with all the new stuff, and you are going to love it too!
