Christmas Leftovers... and some new classes coming up

Hello everyone.. I wanted to show you one of the cards that we did at our most recent Stamp-A-Stack. Thanks to all those who came along. After making our 6 cards some of the girls stayed and had some yummy Pea and Ham soup with me (and we shared a Garlic, cheese and herb pull-apart too - I just LOVE those!) before heading off. Thank you for a lovely day girls - I really enjoyed it and hope you did too.

So here is the second Christmas card (that we made 3 of) - I thought it came out really lovely. I used the Snow Swirled stamp set for this card - the background is embossed in silver on Night of Navy cardstock, and the main tree image is stamped in Night of Navy ink on Whisper white. I used vellum cardstock to stamp the sentiment onto. A very simple, but effective card. And after all, simple is good when you're making Christmas cards.. that way you have half a chance of getting them all done.

Another way to get them done is to come along to my Chrismtas Stamp A Stacks - Im running them again this month and every month until Christmas. The cost is $15 and at each class you will make 6 cards (3 each of 2 different designs). It's a great way to get on top of your Christmas cards this year. Each month I will do different designs. All materials are supplied and refreshments provided too. To view dates, please see over on the right hand sidebar under "Upcoming Classes", or contact me at higgiz@bigpond.com

Im also running a Watercolored Roses class next week. Here's a sample of what we'll be making:

I originally was shown this card by the wonderful Vanessa Webb, and I also was inspired to do this class after viewing Patty Bennett's blog in the US. It's a great technique and we'll be making several items with it. Isnt it a great card? The class will be held at my home on the Central Coast NSW on Wednesday night the 8th July at 7.30pm, and will cost $20. I can give you the address details when you book in.

Hope to see you there.
