What's coming up... Butterfly Bling Class

I have this great class coming up on the 10th February and wanted to show you one of the three items that we will be making using this lovely technique. I actually got the idea for this class from my dear friend Vanessa Webb and she was happy for me to share it with you... thanks Ness!!

The card you see here uses the Kaleidescope Paper and of course the Butterfly prints set and matching punch. I also used a combination of the blue and green chunky glitter. Doesn't it look awesome? ;-) There's also a close up of the card at the bottom of this post.

If you would like to join us, the details for the class are below:

When? Wednesday 10th February 10.30am,
Where? My place at East Gosford - I will give you my address when you book in.

You will make 3 projects including a Mini album and a card. Cost for this class is $25, or you have the choice of purchasing the stamps and punches that we will be using for $75 (which will save you $9.75 off the usual class fee). If you already have the stamp set or Butterfly punch then I am happy to work out a substitute for you instead. Places are limited. For this class I will require payment 1 week prior to the class so that I can order the materials required. All other materials supplied, and a light lunch is included.

Please call me to book on 0412 375 552, or email me at lindastamps@bigpond.com

Hope you can make it!!

In the meantime I should also let you know that I only have 2 places remaining for my day stamp club which begins next Wednesday 27th January. Just contact me to book in..or for more information.

Happy Stamping!

Stamp Clubs 2010

Well here we go for another year, and I am pleased to announce that this year I will have two stamp clubs running. Last year I ran one night club every second month and I would like to do that again. But I have also been asked to run day clubs so I am going to do one of those as well for those people that cant make it along to evening events.

So what is a stamp club? We need 6 people in each club to get started. Each person comes along to my home (East Gosford) to attend the club get togethers held each second month. So over the course of the year there are 6 club events. Each club member commits to placing a $50 order at each event. Which means that every club workshop has sales of at least $300 and all club members take their turn at being the hostess each time. If you cant make it to a particular club workshop you will still place your order with me to ensure the event still reaches $300 and therefore earns hostess benefits. Club events are a little more than just a workshop - we will usually make an extra-special project each time, something that you would not normally make at a workshop. I have run successful clubs over the past two years and everyone has enjoyed them immensely.

Hostesses are allocated in the order that people sign up to the club. The night club designated night is still to be determined, but the Day club will run on the last Wednesday of each second month. I already have interested people in both clubs, so there is only a couple of spots left in the day club, and a few in the night club.

If there is sufficient interest in a virtual stamp club (where you dont have to attend club events but still partake remotely by placing an order every 2nd month) then I will set that up too. That way each member will also get their turn at receiving the hostess benefits. You can be located anywhere to take part in the Virtual Stamp Club.
If you are interested or have any questions please contact me at lindastamps@bigpond.com. DO NOT REPLY TO THE FEEDBLITZ EMAIL IF YOU RECEIVE THIS AS AN EMAIL UPDATE.. I WILL NOT RECEIVE IT. Please note that I will be away from today until the 17th January, so if I dont reply immediately please dont be alarmed. However, I will attempt to check my emails whilst I am away and will contact you as soon as I can.

Hope you are all settling well into 2010 and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

About time!

I'm back! Yes, I know.. slack, slack, slack.

For starters... Happy New Year everyone! I hope you enjoyed your Christmas break and you are now getting back into the swing of things.. or if you are really smart you are still on a break. I'm kinda back to work this week, but not completely as the kids are away with their Dad and so I am trying to get things done, but not work myself too hard.

So I havent been in here since before Christmas.. partly because I spent part of that time away, and I was certainly taking a well-deserved break as much as you can with two small children. Christmas was a little flat this year I have to say, but I am sooooo excited to be heading into a new year, one full of possibilities and opportunities. It's going to be a better year for sure! Bring on 2010! Cant wait to share it with you!

I wanted to show you a card we made at the Summer Mini Launch last month. I really love the way this card came together, and how nice does Real Red look with Kraft? I have to say that putting new colour combinations together is one of my favourite things to do. When something works, it makes me happy. And I believe that the combination of Kraft with strong colours (in this case Real Red) works so well. So... hope you like the card.. I used quite a few of our new bits and pieces from the Summer Mini.

I am currently taking workshop bookings for the Sale-A-Bration period between 24th January and the 31st March. If you would like to hold one, please contact me at lindastamps@bigpond.com. This is our biggest promotion of the year, and all your guests get in on the action too.. every person who orders $100 or more worth of SU product gets a free set of limited edition stamps from the SAB catalogue. It's the biggest promotion of the year, and there is no better time to host a workshop than during SAB. So book yours in.. I do still have some dates available and will tailor a workshop to suit you.

Happy Stamping in 2010 guys!
