Field Flowers and SAB papers

http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

I wanted to show you a card I made yesterday. I had made the centre flower and frame and then the whole card just kind of came together. I seriously love the current SAB papers.. called "Everyday Enchantment". You will be able to get them until the end of March 2012, and they are just one of the items you can choose for free when you spend $100 in one transaction with SU. These papers have been so popular. They really lend themselves to an Antinquey look. To see all the free selections available until March 30th, please click HERE.

I hope you like this particular card... I was really happy with it myself. Below is a close up of the flower and frame.

Enjoy xx

What to do with those great big buttons.....?

I love the big Designer Buttons that are in our current Summer Mini catalogue... they are coloured to match the Spice Cake papers and fabric and so of course I had to have them. A few people mentioned to me that they weren't sure how to use them best... well here is one idea for you today. You can use them as a frame embellishment for a sentiment on your cards. (The 1&1/4" circle punch fits perfectly). This was a really easy card to do.. but as always, the reason it works is because Stampin'Up have done all the hard work for us and colour co-ordinated everything... too easy!

If you would like to see the Mini Catalogue, just click HERE. Dont forget that the Summer Mini is only available until the 31st March 2011.

Well... its finally feeling a bit Summery today, so I am off for a walk in the sunshine. Have an awesome day.

Next Week's project class - Button Buddies

Hello everyone,

Today being Valentines day, here is a quick and simple card to help celebrate the occasion. :-)

I also wanted to show you again this month's project class. At present I have spots available in both the evening and day classes. Here are the dates for you:

Tuesday 21st February @ 7.30pm or
Wednesday 22nd February @ 11am

This month we are making a gorgeous little carrier box with our Brights papers and Buttons, and you will also create 6 cards to go inside the box. It's a really fun project that would make a great gift - if you can bring yourself to give it away! ;-) In case you missed it in my last post, here is another pic:

The following week is a Stamp-A-Stack - which is very nearly full at the time of writing this post. If you would like more details about classes, click over onto the right-hand side of this blog (online, not just in the email)... all you have to do to book into a class is to send me an email at lindastamps@bigpond.com Classes are held on the Central Coast, and we use co-ordinating Stampin' Up! products. All materials and light refreshments are provided.

I hope you can join us!

Spots for next Week's Watercolour Resist Class

Hello everyone,

Just a quick post today to tell you that I still have a couple of spots left in next week's classes in which we will be creating beautiful backgrounds with the "Watercolour Resist" technique. You can see the three projects we will be making right here... although some of the colours we use in the class may vary.

I have had so many questions and interest about the cards that I have made with this technique that it just seemed that running a class was the obvious thing to do! It's a lot of fun, so please come and find out the tricks and tips to make it work. Cost is $20, and the times are 7.30pm Tuesday 7th February, and 11am Wednesday 8th February. All materials and light refreshments are provided. Get those creative muscles flexing!

I am based on the Central Coast of NSW and I will give you the address details when you book in. Contact me at lindastamps@bigpond.com to reserve your spot.
