Last Day....

http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

Well this is it guys! Today is the very last day of both SAB AND our Summer Mini Catalogue. That means that you should grab your mini catalogues (or Click HERE to see one) and make sure that there is nothing that you intended to get, but didn't quite get around to it. Many items in this mini will never be seen again, and everything in the SAB catalogue will never bhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gife available again. I am still taking order until 9pm tonight 31st March... either by phone or email. My email address is lindastamps@bigpond.com

This also means that this is the last day to join Stampin'Up as a demonstrator at the special price of $249. And right now you also get a free stamp set of your choice (any value) on top of that... but this is the last day. Joining is super easy.. you can join through my Demonstrator website HERE by clicking on the "join Now" tab and filling in the online form. Or you can contact me and I'll talk you through it. Seriously.. there is NOTHING to lose with this deal, and everything to gain.. because with http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifthe free stamp set, the current kit is worth almost $700!!! What an awesome deal is that???

This isnt just the last day of the catalogues, but for us demonstrators it's also the last day of the Stampin'Up year. I have had a great year.. thank you to all my wonderful customers and team who are not only awesome to work with, but many of you I call my dearest friends. It's all about sharing. At the risk of sounding very theatrical, this is where I cant help but think of our Stampin' Up "Statement of the heart, which reads "To love what we do, and share what we love, as we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments.. in THIS we make a difference". THAT's what its all about!

I am posting a final SAB card today.. this one was my Workshop card this month. It's an easel card.. of course I will have a lovely new workshop project next month :-) so if you have a workshop booked, you will get to see it!

Enjoy the card and I'll be back with lots of new stuff soon!

Another Sneak-peek of New products coming 1st April

I wanted to show you a card today that I made a couple of weeks ago for my demonstrator team forum. We run challenges over there from time to time and this time around we held a sketch challenge. I used a lovely sketch from the Mojo Monday sketch challenge blog as my inspiration. Challenges - especially sketch challenges and Colour challenges really inspire me and its always fun to see what others do with the same basic design.

But of course I also wanted to give you another sneaky-peek at what products are coming up on the 1st April. Soooo much lovely new stuff! The designer series paper and the ribbon co-ordinate perfectly with the cardstock colours. I have also used our gorgeous new Framelit shapes on this card which are going to be massively popular. Im really enjoying working with them and Im sure you will too.

If you would like to be amongst the first to play with these products and others please come along to one of my Catalogue launch events. We will be making 3 projects and there are prizes and supper at the event . I have two dates:

Sunday 1st April @ 1.30pm at the Niagara Park Guide Hall, Narara Valley Drive, Niagara Park - its right next to the school and there is ample parking.
The second venue is at Narara - Tuesday 3rd April @ 7.30pm and address details are available when you book in.

I need to know if you are coming for catering and materials purposes, so if you would like to reserve your spot, please contact me at lindastamps@bigpond.com At time of writing I still have a few spots left.

Enjoy the card! xx

Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue Launch dates - and a Sneak Peek!

Hello everyone... well it's THAT time again. I am just a little bit (ok a LOT) excited about the new Mini catalogue that will be released on the 1st April, and I cant wait to show you some of the awesome new products that we will be playing with. Which is precisely what I intend to do at the upcoming Mini Launch. I have two dates planned....

Sunday 1st April, Girl Guide Hall, Niagara Park. 1.30pm. The hall is right next door to Niagara Park Public School, just behind the Scout Hall. This is our first time at this location, so please contact me if you need further directions.

OR

Tuesday 3rd April, My house @ Narara, Address details are available when you book in. 7.30pm

At both events you will have the opportunity to make 3 projects, and there will be prizes and lots of socializing occurring. All materials and refreshments are provided, and the cost is $15 to attend. For launch events I ask that you pay your $15 to secure your booking.

Please email me at lindastamps@bigpond.com if you would like to join us. If previous events are any indicator, then you will need to be quick, because Launch events book out quickly. First in best dressed.

And yes, this card is made with nearly all brand new products... we will be making this one at launch so I hope you like it! I am in love with the new Edgelits and Framelits, and the matching stamps are just to die for. And the new pleated ribbon?? Love love LOVE

I just know you will too. :-) xx

Still a couple of spots left at tonight's class....

I do still have a couple of spots left at tonight's class if you have yourself a free night. This is the second of the two cards we are making. I wanted to use the SAB Everyday Enchantment paper because it's almost my last chance to do so! This year's SAB promotion will end next week.. and this beautiful paper will never be available again (nor the matching stamps).. and I have to say Im just a little bit sad, because I have loved using them so much! But dont worry, I wont be sad for long.. cause just wait til you see what's coming on the 1st April! Lots of yummy stuff to show you. :-)

If you would like to come along tonight, the class starts at 7.30pm, and is held at the Central Coast.. I can give you the address location when you book in. We will be making 6 cards, and all materials are provided. To reserve your spot, just email me at lindastamps@bigpond.com and let me know.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the card. I deliberately tried NOT to use Pool Party Cardstock(I've used it so much you might all be getting just a little bit tired of it?)and instead I picked out some of the other colours in the paper. So we ended up with Vanilla, Soft Suede, Poppy Parade and Pear Pizazz as the main colours. It gives this card a different feel.. which is what I was after. I used the Postage punch and the Poppy Parade Poly stitched ribbon... although the Lace trim looks great with this if you are going for more of a Vintage feel.

Hope you like it xx

"Less is More" Challenge... Masking

A couple of weeks back I ran this month's technique class, and I wanted to show you one of the cards that we made. This one is a pretty simple example of basic masking, but everyone loved it.

I also thought I would enter it for the "Less is More" challenge blog. They are all about clean and simple cards, so this one pretty much fit the bill.

I used the "Summer Solstice" Stamp set from our current Idea Book and Catalogue, and the colours are Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum and Whisper White. I used the Big Shot to emboss the Tulips around the card edge, and also to cut the Top Note shape.

I will be back shortly to officially announce the dates of the next Mini Catalogue Launch... so keep checking back for dates. I'll also have a couple of sneaky peeks of what's coming up... stay tuned!

Who wants to make some cards with me? A few spots left in my upcoming classes...

I still have a few spots left in my upcoming Stamp-A-Stack and I thought you might like to see one of the cards we are making. At this SAS we will be making 6 cards - 3 each of two different designs - and the theme this time is Sympathy or Get Well cards, and Thank you cards. The one you see pictured here is my Sympathy card this time, but with a change of sentiment you could also make it a Get Well card.

I still have a couple of spots left in each SAS... here are the dates:

Tuesday 20th March @ 7.30pm

or

Thursday 29th March @ 11am.

The cost to attend is $15, and you will make 6 cards for your card stash. All materials and light refreshments are provided.

I hope you enjoy looking at this card as much as I enjoyed making it.

The inside story....

Last week I showed you the "Explosion Box" that we are making at tonight's class... and I mentioned I would be back with photos of what it looks like inside. This is a quick peek... those coming tonight will get to see it all then.

Basically, the box turns into a Mini album that you can decorate as you wish. I added a couple of photos and some text, but its completely up to you as to how you decorate it.

Looking forward to a full class tonight. xx

Next week's class... the Fabulous Explosion Box!

How cool is this box?? Come to my class next week to learn how to make it.

The box is 10cm (4") high, and is made with some of our current In-colors and of course the SAB paper. The colours of the boxes we make in class may vary slightly to the one you see here, but Im planning on making them all quite similar. The inside "explodes out" when you take off the lid, making it pretty special. Once you do open it.. it's a great mini album. This would make an awesome gift... actually Mother's Day is not that far away if you would like to make one for a friend or a Mum.

There are two available classes - Tuesday night 13th March @ 7.30pm, and Wednesday 14th March @ 11am. The class is $25 and includes all materials and light refreshments. Just email me at lindastamps@bigpond.com if you would like to come along.

I'll pop back with photos of the inside of the box in another day or two... stay tuned.

:-)

These colours make me happy.....

Something about these colours just makes me happy! Today's card uses the "Elementary Elegance" stamp set (a free set from our Sale-A-Bration Catalogue) and the delectable SAB patterned papers (from the same catalogue). This is one of the birthday cards we made at last week's Stamp-A-Stack. Like it? Just a simple one, but lots of fun to make. Click HERE if you would like to see the SAB catalogue.

I'm about to update my class schedule. I have scheduled a project class for next week, which is an "explosion box"... I know everyone else has made them, but I never have! So I'm figuring that a few of my customers wont have made them either and it's a great project for a class. I'll pop a photo up on my next post in a day or two. The classes will be Tuesday 13th March @7.30pm and Wednesday 14th March @ 11am. The cost for this one will be $25... all materials and light refreshments provided.

This weeks class is the Masking technique. The evening class is completely full, but I can still squeeze two more people into my day class at 11am on Wednesday 7th March. The cost for technique classes is $20.

Email me at lindastamps@bigpond.com if you are interested in attending any of these classes. Classes are held on the Central Coast of NSW, and we do all kinds of techniques and projects... some involve lots of stamping and others less so.

In the meantime enjoy today's card, and I hope you are all feeling inspired as we head into Autumn :-)

Stamp-A-Stacks and The Open Sea

Welcome to Autumn! This is of course also the last month of both our current Summer Mini Catalogue, as well as the wonderful Sale-A-Bration (SAB) promotion. So its not too late if you have your eye on something... just email your order to lindastamps@bigpond.com or to receive a complimentary Mini catalogue.

I thought you might like to see one of the cards we made at this month's Stamp-A-Stack. We made as usual 2 different designs and this was the "Masculine Card" that we made this time. It's a simple little card, but makes good use of both "The Open Sea" stamp set, as well as the matching "Nautical" Designer Series paper. Some of the girls made them birthday cards, and even Get Well Cards.

I will be putting up a brand new class schedule in the next couple of days, so if you would like to come along to class - whether it be to learn something new, or to socialize and just enjoy the process - I would love to see you! Classes are held on the Central Coast and all are welcome, although class numbers are limited.

Hope you like today's cards, and I'll be back with a new schedule and more cards and inspiration real soon.
