Last Chance to order your Reason to Smile set
What a beautiful day it is here on the Central Coast today! It feels more like Spring than Winter. :-)
Today is the very last day to order (or get for free) your "Reason to Smile" stamp set. This one was made available just for the month of June to customers. You can receive it for free with a $125 order or you can buy it for $35.95 (wood) or $28.95 (clear). I've been having lots of fun with it this month... today's card is a simple one layer card. Just a little masking, sponging and 2 step stamping... add a ribbon and there you have it. :-)
I will be taking last orders for this set up until approximately 9pm tonight, June 30th. You can place your order by clicking HERE and emailing me with your requirements. Alternatively if you see my posts on Facebook you can always send me a Facebook message if you prefer. Payments can be made by credit card, cash or direct deposit, and I can have your order shipped to anywhere in Australia for a small postage charge.
I hope you enjoy today's little card, and this glorious "Winter" weather.....

Rescheduled Stamp-A-Stack on Monday night
Earlier this month I was forced to postpone a Card Class due to my being unwell. Welll I have two bits of good news... firstly... I'm all better! Secondly I have rescheduled this class to run next Monday night the 2nd July. Here again for you are the two cards we will be creating together... and you will go home with 3 of each card for a total of six cards! There are 3 Masculine (or could be teenage) cards, and 3 Hello cards to use for any occasion. I also ran this one as a day class earlier in the month, and everyone loved what we made! :-)
The girls that were previously booked in for this class have rebooked.. but I do still have a few spots left if you would like to join us on Monday night. My cardmaking and papercraft classes are held on the Central Coast, and I can give you the address details when you book your spot. You just need to let me know that you are coming by emailing me by clicking HERE.
The cost to make these 6 cards is $15. All materials and refreshments are provided. Come along and take some creative time out for yourself!
Please note that the Reason To Smile stamp set will no longer be available after tomorrow June 30th. There are two ways to get your hands on it.... either order it as a sale item ($35.95 for wood-mount, and $28.95 for clear) OR if you place a $125 order by tomorrow's date then the Reason to Smile set is yours completely free. Until 9pm June 30th 2012 you can still order it by contacting me HERE.
Have a wonderful weekend! xx

Here is our Second Card for this month's Christmas Stamp-A-Stack
This is the second card we are making at our Christmas Stamp-a-Stack this week. I showed you the other one a few days ago (you can click HERE to see it). We will be making 3 of each card card which of course means that you will go home with 6 handmade cards at the end of the class. I have two classes, and at the time of writing I still have a couple of spots left in each class...
Tuesday night, 26th June @ 7.30pm
and
Wednesday, 27th June @ 11am
The cost to attend is $15, and all materials and refreshments are provided. Just come, relax, and feed your creative side.
I run stamping and papercraft classes on the Central Coast, and have been doing this for almost 6 years now! I adore this wonderful job, and would love you to come along and create with me.
Today's card was CASEd from Stacia Sloma.. a talented demo from the US. Although you can see that I have simplified the card somewhat, and changed it around quite a bit. I liked the idea of the Pennant Parade set used for Christmas trees, and paired them up with the framelits for my effort. You cant really see in my photograph that I have used Glimmer mist to make my card all sparkly... so in real life it has a bit of extra sparkle. :-)
I will be running Christmas Card classes once a month from now until the end of the year, so come and see what is new in the Stamping World... new products and techniques are popping up all the time. Or if Christmas cards aren't your thing... click over on to the right hand side of my blog and visit the Upcoming Class schedule. There is sure to be something to take your fancy!
Enjoy xx

Can you believe it???
I almost cant believe this myself.. but next week is the week I begin my Christmas Stamp-a-Stacks for 2012! Every month between now and Christmas I will hold 2 Christmas SAS events (one day and one night so that everyone can make it along). The card you see here is one of the two designs you will be making this time around. At a SAS you get to make 6 cards, (3 each of 2 different designs) for a total cost of $15. All materials and refreshments are provided. Seats are limited, so book in soon to make sure you don't miss out, as I don't have many spots left in either class.
The two dates this month are next Tuesday, 26th June at 7.30pm, and next Wednesday 27th June at 11am. My papercraft and cardmaking classes are held on the Central Coast, and I can give you the address details when you book in. You can make enquiries or reserve your spot by clicking HERE to email me.
In the meantime enjoy this lovely card.. dont you just LOVE red and white for Christmas??? Here's a close up for you.....

Reason to Smile
That's the name of this cute stamp set that you can get for free this month. Simply place an order of $125 or more and you will automatically receive this set in your choice of wood or clear mount stamps.
I have used it here to create a really simple card on Naturals Ivory paper. I made a rectangular template and stamped the flowers from the "Reason to Smile" set over the template, then sponged around it with Soft Suede and Rich Razzleberry Ink. I punched out a square of the flower on Very Vanilla Cardstock and mounted it on the Postage Punch in Rich Razzleberry. (The postage punch is still available even though its not in any of our current catalogues. There are a few items that were in our Summer Mini that are still available to purchase.) I tied a piece of taffeta ribbon around this particular card, but also made some with Very Vanilla Seam Binding which looks awesome! The "Hello" stamp is from another set called "My friend".
Such a simple card, but so effective.
All these items and much more are in our Current Catalogues which you can view by clicking HERE. To place an order you only need to click HERE and let me know what you want. I can have your order delivered to anywhere in Australia for a low postage charge.
I also have a few spaces left in the Project class I am running this week, and a couple still left in next week's Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. To RSVP, just email me by clicking HERE.
Enjoy the card!

Tea Bag Dispenser Class... I love this project!
This year I have changed my class schedule a bit... I am trying to run a Project Class each month. Project classes differ from my other classes in that you make one more substantial project than what you might make in a regular technique or cardmaking class. We have made all kinds of different projects, bags and albums over the past several months. But this month's class is a box with a difference... it's a tea bag dispenser. So it's a great project to do if you are a tea-drinker... or an awesome gift for someone else in your life who might be a fan of tea!
I first came across this style of box on a US demonstrator's blog... the very talented Heidi Baks. You can view her blog by clicking HERE. Of course I have changed the colours and design, but have stuck with Heidi's measurements for her dispenser. I love how it turned out!
So this is the Project class for June. I have two dates running for this class:
Tuesday 19th June @ 7.30pm
Wednesday 20th June @ 11am
The cost to make this project is $25. All materials and light refreshments are provided. Please note that colours may differ from the one shown here.. it's dependent on availability and numbers of those attending.
I have other cardmaking classes on the Central Coast coming up soon, so check my schedule on the right hand side of this blog to find a time that suits you. I use Stampin'Up products to make my creations... you are welcome to order products at any time if you wish. To book into a class, or to order products, or even to ask for information just click HERE.
Here are some different views of the Tea Bag Dispenser... it's just so cute!!!

All materials and light refreshments are provided.
I run papercraft and cardmaking classes on the Central Coast so if you are interested in seeing what else is coming up then click over on the right hand side of this blog for more details. Or to book in email me by clicking HERE.

Is 7 my lucky Number???
To be honest I dont realy believe in the concept of "Lucky Numbers". But I guess it would be fair to say that 7 has always been my favourite number... and sometimes that makes it feel just a little bit lucky. I was born on the 7th. Currently I my house number is 7. When I was in the school volleyball team, I always had the number "7" on my shirt. And so on.
This next year also features lots of 7's. I am about to enter my 7th year with Stampin'Up. I will shortly be 47. My son turns 7 this year. Hmmmm...
So at this year's Award Night at our Stampin'Up Convention I was extra excited when they announced that I placed 7th in Australia on the annual "Demonstrator of the Year" list. Actually this is the very last year that there is a "Demonstrator of the Year" award. Stampin'Up has been changing lots of things - both in terms of product and catalogue offerings (wait til you see what's coming!!!!) and also in the way they reward demonstrators. Basically they are making it easier than ever to succeed, and have changed our commission structure... which equals a significant pay rise for most demonstrators.
Congratulations to all the winners this year! It is so exciting to watch your friends get recognition in such a fabulous way... they all run their businesses differently.. but each one of them deserves to enjoy success!
I am just back tonight from Convention in Canberra... and there was so much information released to us that there is no way I can tell you everything! And some I am not allowed to either because we need to keep you guys in suspense until some items are released in September. But I can tell you that out catalogue due out in September is bigger and better than ever before (an extra 30 pages!!!) and I can tell you that our next Incentive Trip will be to UTAH! That's where head office is the US... how cool is that??? I can't wait to be there and meet the Home office team on their turf :-) There are exciting new products that we have never had here before... and I know you are going to love them!
As I walked across the stage to receive my awards this year I said to Shelli that 7 is my lucky number and she asked me if it really is. I said yes... but whether of not you believe in lucky numbers, it's definitely my favourite... especially today!
Don't forget that you can view the class schedule over on the right hand side of the blog... I have a Stamp-A-Stack on Tuesday night and there are still places available. We are making 6 cards... 3 teenage cards, and 3 friendship/birthday cards. The cost is $15 and all materials and supper are provided. If you are anywhere around the Central Coast and would like to come along to cardmaking or papercraft classes just contact me by clicking HERE.
I've popped up a couple of Convention snaps for you! Some of these were taken by the SU official photograher so I cant take credit for them all. Enjoy xx
