My Father's Day projects and Masculine Gifts - spots still left

I wanted to show you the Father's Day class projects that those coming to tonight and tomorrows Father's Day class will be making. At this point I do still have seats left in both classes and would love you to come.  These would make awesome gifts for any man in your life... fathers, friends, and those men around you. Even if you dont need something specifically for Father's Day... these would make great Masculine gifts at any time.

I am really happy with the projects. There is a cute little gift card/ticket/cash holder in the shape of a wallet.. it looks like a real one until you pick it up and realize that its too light to be leather.  There is a great little double sided box full of lollies.  And of course a Father's Day card made with the "Best Dad ever" stamp set. I really like how the card turned out :-)

To get a better look at the wallet click HERE.

To make these three projects costs $20, and I have a class tonight (28th August) at 7.30pm, as well as tomorrow (29th August) at 11am. Light refreshments and all materials are supplied. Classes are held on the Central Coast NSW.  I can give you the address details when you book in.

To book your spot email me by clicking HERE.

Scentational Season sneak peek

So I've been having fun playing with some of my new Christmas stuff, and here's a card I made over the weekend.  Lots of new stuff on this one. :-)  This new stamp set is called "Scentational Season"... and the best bit is that you dont have to cut them out cause there are DIES to do that for you! Love that :-)

Also please dont forget my Father's Day class this week... for $20 you will go home with 3 blokey projects.  I am running two classes.. one at night and one in the day... details as follows:

Tuesday 28th August @ 7.30pm

OR

Wednesday 29th August @ 11am

Here is one of the items we are making:

It's a great little wallet for putting a gift card/voucher/tickets/cash or whatever you like into.... and until you pick it up you wouldnt know it is made out of cardstock because it really does look real.  There is also a card and a little box of choccies. I will try to post these for you tomorrow.. but trust me, they look great!

To book in just email me by clicking HERE. If you havent been before, I am on the Central Coast (NSW) and can give you my address details when you book in.  Right now I have spaces available in both classes.

Hope to see you there!

Father's Day Wallet

Here is one of the projects we are making at next week's Father's Day class... yep we are making this! It's easy, and yes, it IS made out of cardstock, not leather as it appears.  It could be a cute mini album, or a card in it's own right, but I think it works really great as a gift card holder.  For the record this one is CASEd from the talented Yvonne Hagane on Splitcoast stampers.

Hmmm... I think its blokey enough.. what do you think?

The Father's Day class will run on Tuesday 28th August @ 7.30pm, and for those that prefer the day it is also running at 11am on the 29th August. All materials and light refreshments are provided, and it will cost $20 to attend. You will go home with 3 Father's Day projects including a card.  To book in, simply email me by clicking HERE.

Wanna see what the wallet looks like inside??

This cute stamp set is one of my new favourites.. and I have paired it with one of my new favourite Designer Series Paper packs... The stamp set is Betsy's Blossoms, and the paper is called "Floral District".  I LOVE those colours! Think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this combo.....

These will be available on September 1st with the release of our new catalogue. How do you get one?  Well you can purchase one from me for $5 ($10 if I need to post it to you)... or you can host a September or October workshop and get it for free. Goodbye Baroque Motifs... last hurrah at this week's Christmas Stamp-a-Stack

At this week's Christmas Stamp-A-Stack I am using a couple of my all time favourites... especially as this will be the last chance I get to use them. We will be making 6 cards (3 each of 2 different designs) and the card shown here is one of them. Baroque Motifs has been a trusty and faithful stamping partner and I really can't say goodbye without dragging it out one last time.

I still have a couple of spots left in Wednesday's Stamp-a-Stack if anyone wants to come and exercise their creative muscles at 11am.  The cost to make the 6 cards is $15, and all materials and a light lunch is included.  To book your spot just email me by clicking HERE. Classes are held on the Central Coast NSW, and I can supply the address when you book in.

And dont forget the new catalogue Launch coming up on the 8th September... for more details click HERE. At time of writing I have 2 spots left for the launch night, but I am expecting them to go quickly.

Stay tuned as I am about to start posting some Sneak Peeks showing projects made with gorgeous new products. My new catalogue goodies have started to arrive, and playing with new stuff is so much FUN!!! Cant wait to show you :-)

Saying goodbye to another favourite

This is a cute double sided box made with one of my favourite dies.. the Box No.2 die. I've always been a bit amused that we have a die called the "Box No.2" die.... after all, that would indicate that somewhere there must be the mysterious Box No.1..... but I have never seen such a thing. Does anybody know if it ever did exist???

Anyway today I am showing you a cute idea for using the Box#2 die. You simply cut out 2 of the box shapes, fold on all crease lines except for the lids. Cut off the two small tabs at the top of the dies, and then make up the boxes but leaving the lids unfolded and not closed. Then put the two boxes back to back and adhere them together. Decorate with DSP and ribbons as desired. I used Blushing Bride cardstock and matching Paper stacks as these are being discontinued at the end of this month as well. I get quite a sense of achievement when I am able to use up the last of my retiring stock. :-)

If these items are something that you are keen to get before they are gone you do need to be quick. You can order them by emailing me (just click HERE) and I can send them anywhere in Australia for a low postage charge. If you would like to see what else you can make with your Box No.2 die, I've posted pics of it before... HERE, and HERE for example. Enjoy!!

On another note I have slightly shifted around my class schedule this month. Tonight and tomorrow's Diagonal scoring plate class (projects shown below) will no longer run this week, and will now be held next Tuesday evening (14th August @ 7.30pm) and next Wednesday (15th August @ 11am).  The cost to make the 3 projects is $20 and all materials are supplied.  And yummy refreshments too of course ;-)  Here are this particular class' projects.  To see them closer up click HERE

The Father's day class that was scheduled for next week has now been moved to the last week of August. Still in plenty of time for Father's Day.

I am also about to announce launch dates for early September, so stay tuned for those.  I am looking forward to showing you some of the amazing products that we have coming up in two gorgeous catalogues to be released on September 1st!  I love this time of year!!!!

Linda

PS.. The card at the top of this post has been made almost completely with product that is being discontinued this month. The stamps, the patterned paper, the circle die and Final Press embossing folder... all going. I'll miss them... but too excited about the new stuff to stay sad ;-)

Awesome Projects for next week's Class

I am loving my Diagonal Scoring plate that was released last month. It is so easy to make gorgeous envelopes and an array of different projects.  So this month's technique class shows you how.

First up, with the Diagonal plate you can make awesome envelopes to match your cards, and we'll be making them together. I also love this little purse card... its a CASE from the very talented Carol Lovenstein, a talented SU demonstrator from the US.   Mine is a little different to Carol's , but it was really fun to make and I know you'll enjoy it too.  Plenty of bling for you girls who like the sparkley stuff!  Here's a close up:

The card worked out really cute too dont you think?

Here are the dates and times if you would like to join us:

Tuesday7th August @ 7.30pm
or
Wednesday 8th August @ 11am.

All materials and refreshments provided. You will make 3 projects for a cost of $20.

Classes are held on the Central Coast, NSW.  I can give you the address details when you book in. :-) To reserve your spot click HERE.   And dont forget to check other upcoming classes to the right hand side bar of this blog.

Updating the Retired List... here's what's sold out already!

As always, when the retired list comes out each year, there is usually a bit of a frenzy as people order as quickly as they can to get what they want before its gone. The list of what has already sold out is already growing!  Here are the ones that I know about as of this morning:

Peach Parfait ink refill
Dotto refill
Concord Crush ink refill
Crimper
More Mustard Marker
3/16" Gold Brads
Pear Pizzazz ink refill

These above items are now gone forever so you can no longer order them.  I am always amazed at how quicky things sell out in retiring month.

The other reason that many things go quickly is because of the awesome discounts available on many products. Some are 25% off, and others 40% off. This makes those particular items a real bargain. And last night I ordered myself some fabric at a whopping 75% off!  Just awesome!

So browse through the lists and make sure there is nothing that you need to get before its gone. You can click HERE to see the Retiring Stamp List, and HERE to see the Retiring Accessories list. So far my customer's most popular items have been some of the punches, ink pads (discounted to $8.96) and discounted cardstock. Check it out... it's well worth your time!

And Yes... the Upsy Daisy Stamp set pictured here is going....

So view or print out the list, make yourself a cuppa and enjoy the bargains. :-)

Our 2012 Retired List is Here - get them before they are gone....

As promised... HERE IT IS!

Here is our great big retired list for 2012. Actually there are two separate lists... one for Stampin'Up stamps, and one for Stampin'Up accessories.

Click HERE to see the retiring Stamp list.

And HERE to see the retiring Accessories list.

All of the items on these lists will be discontinuing this month.  They are available until the end of August, or until stocks run out... whichever happens first. So if there is something that you really love... don't wait until the last day of August to get it... they may not last that long.

Some items have been discounted, some have not. Discounts range from 25% to 75% depending on the items. So check it all out, and email me with your orders.

And dont forget to come along for Afternoon tea on Saturday 4th August. I will have many of the retiring sets in my own collection on display and you are welcome to reserve them in your name.  I will have two sessions... one at 1pm, and the other at 3pm. Come and have a cuppa and even make a little project if you feel like it. There is no charge to come along and just relax for an hour or two. Email me to let me know if you will be able to make it... just so that I know how many packets of bikkies to buy ;-)

I hope to see you there :-)
