Sale-A-Bration 2014 Sweet Sorbet card
I am still blown away by how beautiful this year's SAB (Sale-a-Bration) paper offering is! Disappointingly though, the SAB brochure does not show off the colours or the design of the papers well. So I guess its just up to me to show you! Here is another lovely card made with these beautiful soft colours. I used quite a few SAB items on this card... see if you can spot them.... the "Sweet Sorbet" paper, the "Petal Parade" stamp set, the Cork accessory pack and the "See Ya Later" sentiment set. And every one of these items is completely FREE when you place a $90 order. So you get one for each $90 you spend.
If you wish to place an order you can EMAIL ME, or even better.. hop over to the Online Store by clicking the "Shop Now" button on this page. Your items can be delivered anywhere in Australia for a low postage charge.
Im not done showing off the SAB range yet... there is so much more to show you, and I have until the end of March to do it.. which is when these items will not longer be available.
Back with more soon... have a fabulous day!

Blast from the Past.. remember this?
Last year I made 30+ of these cards as my swap cards for the US Incentive trip in July 2013. They were fun to make, and they showed off the "3D Stamping" technique really well.. otherwise known as "Shadow Stamping". Im running a class showing how to do this next week... we'll be making 3 projects using the technique, and I know you will love them :-)
Here are the details:
Tuesday 4th March @ 7.30pm
or
Wednesday 5th March @ 11am
All materials and refreshments are provided, and the cost of the class is $20.
I have other newly scheduled classes over on the right hand sidebar of this blog if you would like to check them out.
To book into a class you just need to email me by clicking HERE.
I look forward to seeing you soon.

Video Tutorial: The 5 Minute Card
Ever need a card FAST??? Well here is one way to make a super-quick card. I put together this little video for you so that you can see how I did it.
I used the Retro Fresh Washi tape for the colours used on this creation :-)
I hope you enjoy it, and I'll be back with more for you really soon!

Spiral Flower On Film :-)
This is a card that was inspired by one of Vanessa Webb's lovely cards. I used the Spiral Flower die to create the flower (using the method that I showed on my video tutorial to get the white edges - click HERE to see it) and then cut the filmstrip shape with the On Film framelits. The sentiment is from the 'Just Sayin' stamp set, and cut out with the matching Word Bubbles framelits. Simple, quick and cute!
If you would like more information on whats available, click HERE to visit the online store and then search the "2014 Occasions" category.
Enjoy the card.. and wish me speedy new modem delivery. :-)

Two days in a row.. changing up yesterday's card
If this card looks familiar, there is a very good reason for that. Its almost identical to yesterday's card.. except that I changed the orientation of it. But I wanted to show how easy it is to create a different look with exactly the same products and paper. Well almost exactly.. I did change the ribbon to the Chevron ribbon. Love that ribbon!
I am today organizing a new video tutorial for you, so look out for that!
Have a great day! xx

Gold, Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede
Here you go.. here is one of the card designs from today's Stamp-A-Stack. A very simple little card... but I liked the result. I sponged over one of our paper lace doilies as a mask... its a great way to get your doilies to go a lot further! The tag is punched with the Scalloped Tag punch, and tied at the top with some Natural ribbon and Gold baker's twine. The tag was stamped with one of our free Sale-a-Bration stamps sets (free with a $90 order) in shades of Crumb Cake, Gold and Soft Suede inks. I added some Watercolour Wonder Washi tape for a bit of interest down the bottom.
There was a another similar one but landscaped in design.. I'll pop that up on the blog over the next couple of days for you :-)
Happy Stamping!

Another Funky Retro Masculine Card
Yep.. here i go again :-) I am loving "Retro Fresh" for Masculine projects, and this card is pretty simple but I think it works. I used the "On Film" framelits for the frame and film strip, and the Sentiment is from the "Perfect Pennants" set. The Retro Fresh DSP is behind.
Hope you are having an awesome day wherever you are :-)

So Very Grateful Scalloped tags
I wanted to show you some tags I made for my workshops this past weekend. Very simple... I had quite a large group on Saturday and so this was one of our projects... but coloured simply with markers due to time constraints... they still turned out pretty nice though. I used the awesome Scalloped Tag topper punch for the tag shape, and stamped it with the "So Very Grateful" stamp from Stampin'Up. The "My Friend" sentiment is from the "Six-sided Sampler" hexagon set. I used the Natural Chevron ribbon and some Gold bakers twine for the tie at the top. Very easy!
If you wish to purchase Stampin'Up products for yourself.. click onto the "Shop Now" button on this blog page. Products can be sent directly to you wherever you may be in Australia, for a low postage charge. If you require any help or further information, please feel free to contact me.
Enjoy xx

Simple Sunday: Fancy Foil Designer Vellum
Who doesn't love embossed Vellum.. especially in metallics! In our latest Occasions catalogue we have the Fancy Foil designer vellum packs.. in either Gold or Silver. Its really good value for speciality paper because there are three designs per pack (Stripes, dots and Hearts) and you get 3 sheets of each design in a pack. So that's 9 12"x12" sheets for $18.95. If you love it you will find it in my online store by clicking the "Shop Now" button on this blog page. Once you arrive at the shop click on Occasions Catalogue to see the limited edition products.
This really is a simple card... it qualifies for Simple Sunday because its only one colour + white. Pool party is one of my favourite blues (lets be honest though I do love them all) and I have sponged over my paper doily with Pool Party ink, and then used the doily as a mask on the tag as well. The tag is tied at the top with some of our White organza ribbon, and some silver ribbon to finish.
Enjoy today's card. Back with more for you soon xx

White embossing on Crumb Cake Cardstock for a lovely effect
I love embossing on Crumb Cake cardstock with white embossing :-) Then you colour it with your colouring tool of choice.. in this case I have used Stampin' Write Markers from Stampin'Up. Its really quick.. but you get a great result in a small amount of time
I've used the "So very Grateful" stamp set from our latest Occasions Catalogue. If you are looking for an easy set to use, this one is super easy.
I'm off to do two workshops later today and one tomorrow... all in my quest to earn this year's Incentive trip which is a trip around the Caribbean on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. Im hoping to take the kids with me this year and so the race is on to earn it before the 31st March. I think I can do it! So wish me luck! Every dollar of product I sell gets me another step closer to this awesome reward... and I am determined to make it happen :-) I am about 4/5ths of the way there right now!

Another Masculine card for you today... but something a bit different. I have to tell you... I really love this card! And its easy too... I made a little video tutorial to show you how I did it.
I've been playing with the new On Film Framelits and they lots of fun. Also on this card is some Retro Fresh DSP, Gold Foil, and a sentiment from the Perfect Pennants stamp set.

Retro Fresh Masculine card
I have a Stamp-A-Stack coming up next week and we are going to be making some Masculine cards (as well as "normal" ones lol)... so I've been playing around with my Occasions Catalogue stuff and coming up with a few more ideas for Masculine cards. Here is one I did yesterday - not the card we'll be making, but you can see I am starting to play around with ideas. :-)
For this card I used the Retro Fresh DSP, as well as the matching Washi Tape. The embossing folder and banner punch are some of our free SAB products (you get a free SAB product with every $90 order). The sentiment is from the "Perfect Pennants" stamp set, and I cut it out (sideways!) with the Banners Framelits. The gold arrow is cut with the "On Film" framelits.
This was actually a pretty fun card to make. Its got me thinking of other possibilities now....
Here's a closer look:

For something different... MDS Hybrid card
Last month I hosted a team get-together for my downline... we had a fantastic night together sharing stories and ideas, and creating some simple projects. I decided it would be nice for people to have name cards to write their names on, since so many people in the group had not previously met. I made the above card in MDS... although I had left the middle part blank so that they could write their names. I had several left over when I came home, so rather than waste them I turned them into "Hybrid cards" (i.e. Part MDS, part traditional paper crafting). I stamped the largest flourish stamp from the "Flowering Flourishes" stamp set in Silver, and then added some basic rhinestones to the flower centres. I thought it looked quite lovely when I was done.
If it all looks a tad familiar that would be because I used similar colours and the same Vintage overlay as the one used in the Header of my blog here. :-)
Now I have some cute little gift cards that I can use for any number of occasions. :-) And I can print them off on my home printer in any number I choose when I need them. Gotta love that!

Silver Overload
So I think you are probably getting the idea by now.. I love Silver.. preferably with white! Today's spiral flower is cut on the Bigshot from Silver Foil and then formed into this gorgeous flower. I used pewter embossing powder for the sentiment, and behind you can see some of our gorgeous dotty silver embossed vellum from the Occasions catalogue. Simple but very elegant. :-)
Here's another shot for you:

I find it quite therapeutic actually! We will be making 3 projects, and the cost is $25. All materials and refreshments provided.

or
Wednesday 11am (only 1 spot left)

Spiral Flower Vintage Card
Yesterday I posted the video tutorial of how to create this white-edged flower with the Spiral Flower die available from Stampin'Up Australia (rrp $29.95)... today I thought I would show you the card I created with one of the flowers from the video.
This card certainly has a vintage feel to it. I sponged the lace doily with a little Crumb Cake ink, and embossed the Perfect Plum card stock strip with the Delicate Designs embossing folder through my Bigshot. The ribbon is the Natural Trim available in our Annual catalogue (page 173) and I used the "Little Leaves" sizzlit in Wild Wasabi card stock for the leaves. The sentiment is from the 'Chalk Talk' stamp set, and has been cut with the Extra-Large Oval punch. I added a basic pearl just to finish it off.
If you would like to see the video of tips on making these flowers, click HERE. And if you wish to purchase any Stampin'Up products in Australia click on the "Shop Now" button on this page.
Back soon with more! Have a great weekend :-)

Watercolor Wonder DSP for simple cards
Well I did it.. for the month of January I had committed to blogging almost every day. And the couple of days that I didn't, I made up for it by blogging twice on another day. So all up, I posted 33 times in January. I am really interested now to know what people think.. is it too much? Or do people like more constant updates? Feel free to comment below (or on my Business Facebook page) and let me know what you think. You can also "like" the Facebook page to see what else I get up to :-)
Of course, part of the reason for the extra posting has been that there has been so much going on with new products and releases... and STILL I have managed to miss a few things... like the fact that the Clearance Rack has been updated with some new items at silly prices. Which is fantastic news for you girls that like a bargain. Visit my Online Store and then click "Clearance Rack" to see what's new.
So today's project is something else new from our lovely new Occasions Catalogue that began last week. I am loving the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper (DSP)... it is simply beautiful! In fact I thought this particular design was so beautiful that I didn't even want to add a lot of embellishment to it... just a sentiment seemed enough for this one. Here is the whole paper pack:
Enjoy today's little card, and remember to check back here often for more ideas and projects. I also create a new technique or project video each week, so dont forget to look out for that.
And remember to check out the Online store.. Online ordering is easy and no-fuss... straight to your door! Enjoy xx
