This is It! The last day of Sale-A-Bration 2015!
Well here we are! Sale-A-Bration is almost at an end... and to celebrate what has been an awesome promotion, I have created another card with some of my favourite SAB products. This card uses both the Vellum paper stack, as well as the "Best Year Ever" DSP... both of these are some of the FREE products available with a $90 order... in fact you get one for every $90 you spend. If you'd like to see the other products you can receive for free click HERE to visit the store and see what you can get! But it all comes to an end at 11.50 tonight!
I hope you've enjoyed SAB 2015... I certainly have and I will miss some of the great products that we've had to play with, but I hope you got the ones you wanted, and I know that Stampin'Up! has some other wonderful products just around the corner for us (Don't forget that our new Annual Catalogue is due out on the 2nd June!!!)
Enjoy the card and I'll be back with more for you soon :-)

Last days of Sale-a-Bration 2015 - here's some inspiration!
Wow... what a busy Sale-A-Bration time it has been! With only a few days to go, I have a LOT of events to hold between now and the end of the month! So you may see me... at a class, club or a workshop coming up. But if you don't, remember that you can still place orders with me at any time either by phone (0412 375 552), email or the Online Store. And there are even more new SAB items for these last few days too.
I thought you might like to see a few projects made with SAB products to inspire you!
The card at the top of this post was made using the SAB DSP called "Best Year Ever"... I love the fresh colours, and i've used the flowers from the "Petal Potpourri" punched out with the matching punch. The "Thank you" is from the SAB set called "Lotus Blossom". This card was made for a colour challenge.
The card above uses some of our lovely new Vellum stack paper... I coloured the butterflies from behind with our Markers, and then popped some newsprint behind the vellum! Looks great for a simple technique! (I borrowed this idea from a card I saw created by Dawn Olchefske in the US.
I've used the "Best Year Ever" DSP to make a liner for my Berry Basket... and tied up some treats with the ribbons from the Ribbon and Button pack in the SAB brochure. I love how it came together :-)
Video Tutorial: Dressing up a Cute Grid Journal
A video for you today! I've been playing with these little grid journals lately..... this is just one way to do it!
Just one note: I made a mistake when I said the price of the journals! They are $8.95 for 2 NOT $6.95. But I'll do a little special on these to make up for my mistake... head over to my FaceBook page to see it.
Enjoy the video, and I'll be back with more for you soon. Don't forget its the last few days of Sale-a-Bration, so you've got just a few days to place your orders and take advantage of this great promotion. Click HERE to visit the online store.
And here is the finished journal that I created in the video...

Irresistably Yours paper for awesome backgrounds... FREE for SAB 2015!
We are almost down to the wire... its the very last week of Sale-A-Bration (SAB) and that means you only have days left to get your orders in to make the most of the SAB specials. It all ends on March 31st... so use the "Shop Now" button or click HERE to visit the online store and make your selections... every $90 you spend will get you something awesome for free!
Don't forget too that there are specials for hosts AND for new recruits until March 31st as well! So if you've been thinking of joining as a demonstrator...but you were just waiting for the right time... then this could be it! Right now when you buy your Demonstrator kit for only $169 (and that gets you $235 of product of your choice) you also get to pick either a free project kit from our Occasions catalogue OR you can choose 2 free SAB products! Its a very cool deal!
Today's card features a couple of different SAB items. The blue flowery DSP in the background is actually not blue at all... it comes white, but clear embossed with several lovely designs. You then sponge your colour over the top... so that you can make the DSP any colour you like to match your projects! I also used some of our free In-color twine and matching buttons on this card... these are also free offerings from the Sale-A-Bration range! (And the sentiment is from another stamp set called "Best Day Ever") There are stamp sets, papers, vellum, ribbons, buttons... so many things to choose from! All free with a $90 order.
Today's card is one of the choices I am offering at this month's workshops. I love this Petal Potpourri stamp set and matching punch!

2015 Tuesday night Stamp Club - only 2 spots left!
So what is Stamp Club? Really it should be called Papercraft club... because there is no limit to the wonderful things we have created in my clubs over the past years... something using lots of stamps, and sometimes not. We've had boxed card sets, 3D items, Card-in-a-Box creations, Dioramas, and stationery sets. Just to mention a few. (I've put up a few photos below of past projects) The point is you'll make lots of lovely and exclusive projects in Stamp Clubs... I keep these classes separate to my other classes and workshops, so you know you'll be making something that is just that little bit different and special. The stationery set you see above is an example of a simple Stamp Club project - its a Treat bag that contains a card and matching gift card holder.
Here is how it works: We need around 6 people to make a club work well. The club goes for a full 12 months, and we meet every second month - so for a total of 6 clubs over the year. At each club event you'll get to make your project with me and go home with something special. There is no charge to attend, but your commitment as part of the club is to spend a minimum of $50 at each club get together. This ensures that we have a $300 minimum order each time... and that means that someone in the club gets to be the "hostess" and receive the benefits of that order! That means a minimum of $30 to spend on whatever you like - although it could be more depending on the orders on the day! The Tuesday night club will be held at my place, so you don't even have to clean your house! Your only other commitment is to bring something along for supper on the night of your club event :-)
We choose the order of the hostesses by drawing the names out of a "hat". Our first club night for the Tuesday club will be Tuesday night the 24th March.. so whoever is hostess that night will be lucky to be able to add the Sale-A-Bration benefits to their freebies :-) I will draw the hostess on the night.. so its a surprise!
So yes, Stamp Club is a commitment. But a very easy one as you only need to place an order once every 2 months, and you'll be having a lot of fun making gorgeous things and getting to know a group of like-minded papercrafters!
If you'd like to join for this next round of Tuesday night stamp club, please click HERE to let me know. Here are some photos of past projects:
Heart boxes (with matching cards inside)
Card-in-a-box
Easy Concertina Card
Don't worry if you think the project look complicated... they are all simple to assemble and help is at hand if you feel you need it! I hope you can join us!

Jumping on the Bandwagon with the Bokeh Technique...
As most of my regular customers would know, I try to do a technique class each month. This month's upcoming class is Coasterboard (its THIS WEEK! Click HERE to see one of the projects and find out more about that). Next month however I decided to do a class with a technique I hadn't previously tried... the "Bokeh" technique. Its been around for quite a while now, but in recent months its become all the rage.. everyone is doing it!
Not sure why I waited so long to get on the bandwagon... maybe its because Im not sure how to pronounce it (everyone seems to say it differently) or that it looked difficult to me. But guess what? Its not a difficult technique at all, and quite easy to teach in class format. And the results are simply beautiful!
Want to learn how for yourself? Come along to my April technique class - click on the "Class Schedule" tab above to see whats on. More samples will be shown over the coming month or so... or even better, visit my Facebook Business Page to see more samples and ideas.
And enjoy the card!

March Technique Class - Working with Coasterboard
Next week I have a new technique class running and I thought you might like to see one of the projects we are making. Its simple, but there are a few tips and tricks to make it easier, and if you would like to come along and see how its done (and make your own) then click HERE to book your spot. At the time of writing I have a few spots left for both the evening and the day class... so you can choose which one suits you best!
The cost for this class is $25. You'll learn a couple of different ways to use Coasterboard and see what a great material it is to work with! The 2 dates available are:
Tuesday10th March @ 7.30pm
or
Wednesday 11th March @ 11am
Alternatively, if you aren't able to come to classes... there's another way you can see how to use Coasterboard... my tutorial on how to create this effect is one of the tutorials featured in the "We Stamp for Lara" fundraiser. This is not only to raise money for a worthwhile cause, but its also awesome value.. and its not too late to join! Every day in March you will receive a tutorial written by a Stampin'Up demonstrator either here in Australia or one of our overseas guests. There are some fabulous techniques and projects... and the tutorials are well written and clearly laid out. If you would like to know more, here are the details:

Playing with Petal Potpourri for our Classes this week
Another card to show you from this week's Stamp-a-Stack... this one could easily be adapted to be a birthday card, or whatever occasion you choose. If you'd like to join me at class this week I do still have a few spots left:
Tuesday March 3rd @ 7.30pm

Wednesday March 4th @ 11am.
We will be making 6 cards - 3 each of 2 different designs. All materials and refreshments provided. Cost is $20 for all 6 cards, and includes envelopes. If you'd like to see both designs together click HERE to see them on my Facebook Business page.
