Christmas in July with the At Home with You bundle

Can you believe the year is actually half over??  Me either!  Each year in July I change the theme of my Stamp-A-Stack classes to Christmas for the remainder of the year. As we make 6 cards each time, that means that you have the chance to make 36 Christmas cards with me by the time that Christmas rolls around.... and thats a pretty good number of handmade cards for your stash.

If you would like to come along and make the card you see above (plus a second design, 3 of each one) then you'll want to book into my Stamp-A-Stack class next week.  I have 2 class times - Tuesday evening at 7.30, and Wednesday morning at 11.15am.  Cost is $20 for ALL 6 CARDS!  Full instructions are given, plus refreshments (plus the daytime ladies can stay for lunch afterwards if they wish).  Im on the Central Coast, NSW, and my Stamp-A-Stacks are normally held in the first week of each month.

Tuesday 4th July @ 7.30pm
or
Wednesday 5th July @ 11.15am

I'd love to see you there!  Click HERE to book your spot!

Hope to see you at a class real soon!

Crafting Forever... Do something Creative every day!

I knew as soon as i saw this stamp set that it was going to be a new favourite in my collection. It's called "Crafting Forever" and its a collection of super cute images, designed with the crafter in mind.  Here are the images in the set:

Isn't it cute?   I especially love the sentiment... "Do something creative every day".  This is actually something I try to do myself.... on the days that I don't find time for at least a little creativity, I have to admit I feel a little lost!

Let me tell you a quick story. When I was quite young... maybe 5 or 6, people would ask me what I wanted to do when I grew up.  My answer around this age was "a pottery maker in the day, and a ballerina at night".   Im not sure when I thought I would need to sleep (adults don't need to sleep do they?) but I know one thing for sure:  that even at a young age, I knew I wanted to live a creative life.  So its pretty amazing that that is where my life has led me, and even though I'm not creating pots (and my dancing skills leave something to be desired) its still so fulfilling to me that I get to be creative as a way of making my income. I adore the lifestyle that this allows me to have.  Im really lucky that I also get to indulge my other loves (such as travel and coffee!) and the flexibility of being a StampinUp demonstrator is what allows that to happen.  I would be nowhere without my amazing customers and team, and other demonstrators that I get to share the ride with.   It really is a wonderful thing, and I frequently have to pinch myself to make sure that it is real.

If you think that being a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! sounds pretty good... its about to get even better.  Stay tuned for a new deal about to be announced for new demonstrators who join Stampin'Up! in July.  I'll have details here on the blog, and also in my customer newsletter which is about to go out in the next day or two.

And if you'd like to order any of these products to make this fun card, you can check out the product list below, and click on the ones you want to be taken to the Online Store.  Enjoy!

Embossing Paste can be used so many different ways!

Today's card features another card similar to what we will be doing in this week's Texture technique class.  I am loving our new Embossing Paste... some of you may have seen this before, and know it as "texture paste"... but its a similar product. When you open your tub of paste, you will notice that the paste is very light and fluffy.  It's quick drying and easy to use. (Thank goodness for the quick drying bit, or I wouldn't be able to feature it in a class!)  But best of all.... its so versatile!  There are lots of different ways to use it, and I'm still finding new things to do with it!

I was inspired to make this card after seeing the awesome card created by Lynsay Mahon on her blog.... thank you Lynsey for your gorgeous card!   The colours I used on my card are Sweet Sugar Plum and Daffodil delight.  Yes I know it doesn't look like those colours, but they are watered down when you spritz with them, and come out much lighter.

If you'd like to explore some of these ways and you are anywhere close to the Central Coast... come to this week's technique class.  I am offering 2 classes - one in the evening and one in the daytime.  The evening class is almost full... I only have one spot left.  But the daytime class still has a couple of spots.

Here are the details:

Tuesday 27th June @ 7.30 (1 spot left at time of writing)

or

Wednesday 28th June @ 11.15am

Cost is $25 and includes all materials... just come!  Classes are suitable for all levels of crafter... from beginners to advanced.  And there is nothing quite like getting together with other ladies that love the same things that you do!  (Daytime classes include lunch after class if you feel so inclined)

If you would like to come along click HERE to let me know!

I hope to see you at a class soon...

A couple of weeks ago I popped up a new Incolor ribbon and paper share.... and I've had quite a few people take this up... THANK YOU!  However, because I have been away from my business for a couple of weeks due to unforeseen circumstances, I didn't really market it as I might have normally. So I do have a few shares left, and if you haven't jumped on board yet, now is your chance!  I'll close this last round off at the end of this week (30th June 2017), so here is your last chance to get your hands on these awesome shares.

Here are the details...

Ribbon Share:
1/4 roll of each of the 5 colours of Incolor Finely woven ribbon.
That works out to be approximately 2.2m of each colour.
Cost will be $16 per share for all 5 colours.

Receive 1/4 of the pack of "Fresh Florals" DSP.... front and backs of each design in all five colours.  Paper will be cut into 6"x6" sheets and mailed directly to you.  This paper matches your ribbons perfectly if you choose to do both shares.
Cost is $12 to take part in the paper share.

Or you can do BOTH shares for $25!

For those that have already paid me for the first round of shares, thank you so much.... yours are mailing out this week.

Here is a snap of the paper too!  Don't they look awesome together?  You are going to love working with these colours!

For a bit of fun I embossed the edges of the ribbon holders with the Rambling Rose stamp from the Wood Words stamp set.  Isn't it cute??

If you would like to be part of either or both of these shares you will need to let me know in an email by clicking HERE.  I look forward to sharing these awesome ribbons and papers with you!

Wood Textures and Embossed elegance

Last night we got home from a few days away, and I sat down to make a card... which is my happy place. Creativity of any kind is wonderful therapy. I love that when I get into the creating "zone" I tend to forget everything else, and it is so good to feel the creative flow as I play with my products.

In this case its new products too.... I used the "Wood Words" stamp set to emboss my roses in white at the edges of the wooden texture piece, and the "thank you" sentiment in the centre is from that same set, embossed in gold.  Already I know that this rambling rose stamp is going to be much loved and much used.  The background is stamped with the "Burlap" background stamp (Fresh Fig ink, on Fresh Fig cardstock).  I also used the new Pretty Label punch coupled with the Label me Pretty stamp set for the decorative piece behind the sentiment...you can see all the products I used in the product list below.  I think that Fresh Fig and gold is a magnificent combination don't you?

Here's a close up pic for you:
