This is IT! Last day to order from the Retiring Catalogues!
So this afternoon I am sitting down to do my final check through the retiring catalogues, and Im making sure that I havent missed anything I need before those items are gone forever. Just on the off-chance that you havent done this.... I'd thoroughly recommend that you do it TODAY! Because today is the very last day to order retiring items from these catalogues.
Many items of course are NOT retiring! But in addition to a big long list of those things that ARE, this year there are also some price increases on their way... notably ink and paper products, so now is also a good time to STOCK UP! Inkpads and cardstock will both see increases from tomorrow.
Then there is the matter of retiring colours.... the colours below are all saying goodbye FOR GOOD! Even though some items have sold out completely, there are still many of these left so grab them before midnight tonight!
To order click the SHOP NOW button on this page, and then click the LAST CHANCE ITEMS to see what's still there. But only until midnight when the ordering system will be shut off to get ready for the new catalogue.
Please note that ordering from the new catalogue will not be available until Noon tomorrow, 1st June. Any questions please feel free to CONTACT ME!

Sneak Peek: Rooted in Nature and Introducing a NEW colour!
Today I wanted to show you the very first card I made (yesterday) with the about-to-be-released new stamp set called "Rooted in Nature". This set reminds me a little of "Lovely as a Tree", but its a set that includes even more trees, leaves and some beautiful sentiments. Not only that but there is a matching set of gorgeous framelits, and it will be offered as a bundle in our upcoming new catalogue. So many gorgeous things coming your way! Im excited and I hope you are too!
I started off with stamping my tree in Early Espresso ink on a thin piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, and then I used my sponge brayers to colour the sky behind it.... the colours I used are Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and a new colour... Highland Heather! I added a sentiment in Early Espresso below, and tied a little linen thread around the piece.
Then I tried to find the right coloured cardstock for my base. This proved a little challenging... as I originally thought to use Crumb Cake, but the overall effect was too yellowish. I tried Sahara Sand... it was better, but still not quite right. Then I tried the new "Gray Granite".... BAM.... just right! I didnt realise until I tried it on this card that this gorgeous neutral has a slight mauve undertone to it... and it was perfect for this card.
Lastly I wanted to add one of our new Leaves Trinkets as an embellishment.... and quite a family discussion ensued as to which colour to use. Should it be silver (my daughter thought so), or should it be copper (my husband voted for this). I liked both to be honest. But when I took the photograph under a light, the copper stood out better so I went with that.
I hope you enjoy my little card today... Im sure you will be seeing a lot more of this gorgeous set.... available June 1st!

Video: Introducing the Delightfully Detailed Suite of products
It's Saturday evening here in Australia, and with the rest of the family doing their thing around the house I took a few moments out to make this card this evening. Sometimes I just create for me because I enjoy the creative process.... the bonus though is that I can still use these "just for me" cards in my business. So even though it was my time out this evening, I get to post it here, and on my Facebook business page. Plus I plan to use it as a sample at the upcoming Sydney Craft and Quilt Fair.... so it will get even more use there! How lucky am I to be able to do fun creative things like this and then even call it "work". That's one of my favourite things about my job as a Stampin'Up Demonstrator.
I made a video to talk about this gorgeous suite of products yesterday, so I'm going to post that below for you as well. I also show how to use this beautiful laser cut Speciality Paper... and I think you'll find it quite useful. Dont forget that you cant order these products until midday on the the 1st June.
Here is the video:
The card at the top of this page today was really fun to make. You cant really see it in the top photo, but I also added a little circle of glimmer paper behind the sentiment... which really makes it pop in real life. Here's a closeup so you can see it better:
The finishing touch was the beautiful Tulle Dotted Ribbon... this comes in both White and Vanilla, although I only have the white so far. I'll definitely be grabbing the Vanilla on one of my next orders.
I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek of products today!

Love these colours?? New Inkpad set available now! 10% off!
Stampin'Up have released their new Incolors for 2018-20 and today I made these cards to show them off! There is something very happy about these colours dont you think?? On these cards I've used a few new elements.... the DSP in the background is the new DSP Incolor 6" x 6" packs and there are 4 different designs in the pack in all 5 colours. (I've only used 2 different designs here) The cut-out flowers are cut from the Delightfully Detailed Speciality DSP, and the sentiment is from the new Detailed with Love Stamp set. I also used the new Detailed Trio Punch to round off the corners off the DSP. Can I say I am loving this new punch? Not only am I getting perfect corners every time... its easy to use! And it does decorative corners as well!
I think my favourite colour in the bunch is the gorgeous Blueberry Bushel.... such a rich blue! I think you are going to see this colour used a LOT. If I had to pick a second favourite, its probably Lovely Lipstick... its a nice strong red. When you put it next to Real Red you can see its just a bit more pink in tone.
But the best bit about the new colours?? You can get the 5 inkpad pack right now! And they are 10% off when you buy them altogether! Woo Hoo! Here they are...
Please note that Inkpads are one of the items going up in price in our new catalogue. A classic inkpad will cost $13 aud.... but for all 5 of these the total is only $58.50!
To order them the code is 147153. Or when you go to the Online Store, you'll find them under the "Share what you Love" category. They are kinda hidden in there because thats our special this month. From next month they will be in their usual place. To order click the SHOP NOW button on this page.

Sneak Peek: the gorgeous Delightfully Detailed Suite
By now pretty much everyone knows that we have a new catalogue being released on the 1st June. So I've been showing off a few "sneak peeks" here and there... whilst also trying to showcase some of our retiring products.
So today its time to give you a quick peek at some new about-to-be-released products, this time from the Delightfully Detailed Suite. This suite includes Stamps, a punch and some very cool accessories. But I really wanted to focus in particular on the Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut Speciality paper..... it is truly beautiful, and you are going to want to check it out!
You can see it featured in some of my cards today. But what you need to know is that it is extremely versatile and can be used for a variety of different types of projects and techniques. For starters, its white on one side, and vanilla on the other... so you can use it in either warm or cool palettes. You can colour it, and you can use it as a template. There are notecard-sized pieces (like the ones I used on these cards today) and there are 12"x12" sized pieces. There are even borders. So you are going to be seeing a lot of amazing and different types of stuff created with these papers!
I've paired the papers up with another item from the same suite of products...the Delightfully Detailed Note cards and Envelopes. These have a gorgeous watercoloured look to them and are sized to fit the panels from the DSP. You can see the gorgeous colour washes peeking through from behind the laser cut designs... dont they look amazing??
I think you are really going to enjoy working with these awesome items. Look out for a video to come that showcases some of this beautiful suite. You'll be able to order them from midday on June 1st.
Enjoy!

Video Tutorial: Stamparatus Basics for Perfect Stamping
Are you ready for the Stamparatus???
This amazing new tool officially gets released on the 1st June.... and you are going to love it. A few lucky customers were able to get one on pre-release, but even if you didnt get one yet, its worth taking a few moments out to check out the video tutorial today to see what its all about. If you have seen or tried other stamp positioners it might seem at first glance to not be very different. But there are a number of things about the Stamparatus that make it completely unique, and I've highlighted a couple of them in my first video that goes over a couple of basic ways to use it.
Because there are so many different things you can do I'll be doing several videos over the next few weeks. I had fun making this first simple video for you today..... so please come back over the coming days to check out some of the other ideas. Or better yet... subscribe to my YouTube channel and you will get a notification when I've uploaded a new tutorial.
If you want a Stamparatus of your own, and you are in Australia, then I recommend that you click the SHOP NOW button on this page, and order yours as soon as you can after June 1st. Or contact me and I'll make sure your order goes through as soon as they are available.
Enjoy!

What you need to know about Stampin'Up Australia retiring products!
Hello Everyone!
I thought I'd pop in today with a couple of reminders for you about what is happening right now. As you may know our Retirement List is out, and that means that there are items selling out almost every day. So if there are retiring items on your wish list you need to check out the list. Some items are marked down too! Use the SHOP NOW button to visit the online store and you will find these items listed under "LAST CHANCE PRODUCTS". Remember, they are only available until May 31st or until sold out. (I've popped the already sold out list below)
Every year I hold my "Retirement Afternoon Tea" and its tomorrow! What happens is that I put out all my retiring and currently retiring items out and then my customers come along and go through them all. All items are marked down! I have a very special offer for those that attend on the day OR if you cant make it tomorrow, you are welcome to make an appointment to come and view the items any time next week... dont worry, there is always plenty left! The special will be available to those that come by appointment next week too, but I cant extend it after that.
The Retirement afternoon tea is kinda like an "open house" event... come along any time between 2.30 and 5pm, on the 19th May. Stay for a cuppa and a chat. And of course have a look through the retiring goodies to see what you would like. There is no charge to attend.
So let me know if you can come tomorrow OR please make an appointment. To contact me click HERE.
Disclaimer: The afternoon Tea may or may not include scones as pictured.... it depends on how organised I am. But I can confirm there WILL be Tim Tams!
Here's one of our retiring sets that is retiring.... the gorgeous Rose Wonder set, AND the Rose Garden framelits! (And there's another pic made with this one at the top of this post!)
For this card I used Brusho Crystal colours to get that "splatter" effect.... I really like it!
Below I have listed for you all of the Retiring items that you can no longer order from Stampin'Up Australia as they have sold out. I've listed the Annual Catalogue first, followed by the Occasions Catalogue. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOW UNAVAILABLE!
Please note that these lists are growing every day... so if you dont want to miss out on your favourite retiring products you need to order them before they are gone forever!
I hope I see some of you at tomorrow's afternoon tea! And if you cant make it tomorrow but would like to make an appointment for next week please be sure to CONTACT ME!

Welcome to the Alaska Achievers Blog Hop - Share what you Love!
Hello and welcome to this month's Alaska Achievers Blog Hop. This month we are focusing on the beautiful Share what you Love bundles and you are going to love them all! Here are my projects for you today:
Im actually making this card design at one of my classes this week. I just love this embossing folder that is part of the Share what you Love suite. Its called the Lovely Floral Dynamic Embossing folder.... and if you've never used a Dynamic Embossing folder you are going to love them! They are super thick to give you a really deep impression in your paper, and that means they also colour up beautifully...as you can see in this card example. I actually used the DE-bossed side of the paper, and brayered over the top with my sponge brayer to give an ombre effect. Simple to do, but so effective!
I added a little strip of the co-ordinating DSP into the mix as it is too beautiful not to use! I did use a strip of Fabulous Foil acetate on both cards too - silver on one and gold on the other. The acetate is retiring this month and will no longer be available... so my advice is to get that now too! Its available until May 31st OR until sold out.
For the whole month of May these bundles are available to customers. There are 3 different bundles to suit you, depending on your budget. For me of course I couldn't help myself and I got the "Gotta Have it All" bundle (plus I REALLY wanted that DSP!) but check them all out as there is sure to be a bundle to suit you.
But here's a fantastic solution for anyone who truly loves a bargain. Why not sign on as a demonstrator for $169 and get the "Gotta Have it all Bundle" as part of your kit? Because when you buy the demonstrator kit for $169 you get $235 worth of products and its your choice what those products are! So if you got the Gotta Have it All bundle you would still have a little left over to choose something else! And with a new Annual Catalogue coming out next month, now is such a good time to join!
If you're not convinced that you need these products then click through and see all the fabulous creations here on this blog hop. Because everything matches so beautifully, its so easy to make perfectly co-ordinated and beautiful projects with this suite. I've included a product list of these bundles for you below.
To continue the hop, click the name below mine in the list below.... and ENJOY!

Saying Goodbye to Butterflies and Fabulous Foil Acetate
As we continue through retirement month (May 2018) I am having a little "last hurrah" with some of my favourite products. Today I used my much loved Fabulous Foil acetate together with the Butterflies Framelit dies. I've kept the colour palette simple so that these beautiful products would stand out even more.
Why do I love this acetate? Because it goes with everything for starters! But also because its silver on one side, and gold on the other. Because you can hide mini glue dots behind the designs. Because it always looks elegant and classy... ON EVERY CARD! Its still available right now, in the Online Store, but only until the 31st May or until stocks run out.
Its worth noting that ALL our current butterfly framelits are retiring. Today I used the Butterflies thinlit dies to cut the silver foil paper (thankfully the foil is NOT retiring!) The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from the "We Must Celebrate" stamp set (also retiring).
This card is a simple one, but I think its quite elegant. And all that silver really packs a punch dont you think!?
To order you just need to click the SHOP NOW button on this page. This will take you to the Online store.... orders are delivered directly to you, no matter where you are in Australia.
Have a fabulous Monday!

Share What you Love in So Saffron
We all have our favourite colours. Mine are blues, teals and turquoises. I probably use them a little too often. Today I've chosen a colour palette that I rarely use.... I used the So Saffron background in this DSP as my inspiration. So Saffron is a colour that Im not especially fond of.... and yet I absolutely LOVE this card! I love the way the colours work together... I paired So Saffron with Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla and gave it a vintagey feel with Lace and Gold embossing. (There's a little bit of Burlap trim in there too!)
The stamps and gorgeous DSP are from the Share What you Love suite of products which you can get your hands on right now. Dont you just love the shimmer in the DSP??? There are 3 different bundles available to suit your budget and each bundle also includes free product too! You'll find them in the Online Store... click the SHOP NOW button on this page to go there!
Happy Stamping!

Video Tutorial: Quick Tip for creating scalloped frames with Punches
Today I have a little video for you. I created this card yesterday with the gorgeous Paisleys and Posies stamp set (which incidentally is another retiring set! Check out our Retiring products by clicking on the SHOP NOW button above.... they have marked some items down today! You'll find them in the Last Chance Products section. While you are there also check out the Clearance Rack - there are some great bargains in there at the moment!)
Back to today's card.... I stamped the Paisleys and Posies stamp set ($37) in Calypso Coral and Fresh Fig ink on Vanilla Cardstock. I then lightly coloured around the shapes with my Aqua Painter and a little Calypso Coral ink. The sentiment is from the same set and also stamped in Fresh Fig, on a vanilla oval cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits. I then used my Scalloped Tag Topper punch to create the scalloped "frame" at the outside of my oval (I used Gold Glimmer paper for this) You can see exactly how I did it in the little video I have made for you. Here it is:
I hope you enjoy this quick tip today..... and don't forget to check out the Online Store for a bunch of awesome products, many of which are marked down.
Happy Stamping!

Love what you do, Share what you love.....
This, my friends, is called the "Statement of the Heart". This is the motto that Stampin'Up have always worked under, and I absolutely love these words. Why? Because its not just some feel good words with little meaning.... THIS is the way Stampin'Up do business, and its truly what its all about. Every day in my business I get to share what I love to do, and that is at the heart of why I do this! If it was just about money and overseas trips, I probably wouldn't have been able to keep going long term (dont get me wrong the income and trips are awesome too!). But at the heart of what I do, this is about connecting with people and the relationships that we build.
My absolute favourite thing about Stampin'Up is the relationships and friendships I have formed over the past 12 years. Not only with my customers, but also with other demonstrators and Stampin'Up staff. Its been an amazing journey! And best of all, its not over yet! Im hoping to be able to do this for many many years to come!
This card today was one of the ones I featured in my live video on my Facebook Business Page... (head over there if you'd like to check it out!) and that video showcases the gorgeous "Share what you Love" suite. The DSP I've used on this card is part of that suite and it really is awesome! And that "Statement of my Heart" stamp is also free with the largest suite. To purchase these suites for yourself head over to the Online Store.
I've got lots more to show you in the coming days so make sure you check back. Also this week's classes in my studio feature the "Black Resist" technique so click HERE to book in if you would like to join us! (I run cardmaking and paper craft classes on the NSW Central Coast... click the Class and Event schedule tab above if you would like more info)

Share what you love with a gorgeous new Suite of products!
Today on my Facebook Business Page I did a little Facebook Live video and I got to show off some of the beautiful new products in the Share what you Love suite. These are seriously beautiful products for anyone to own... and so far I have loved each and every card I have made with the products in the Suite.
Stampin'Up have released these products early, ahead of the Annual Catalogue release on June 1st. Its always nice to have some fun stuff released early, and this year is no exception. And although I love everything in the suite... my favourite item for sure is the GORGEOUS Designer Series Paper. I also love that this paper comes in a double pack... so that means there are 4 sheets of each design (rather than the usual 2). So there are even more reasons to chop it up and USE IT!
One side of the DSP has a pearlised silvery finish..... almost like embossing, but without the raised texture. Its completely beautiful! Already I have made lots of cards with this paper, but Im sure you will see lots more. Here's a little video that Stampin'Up have made to introduce the suite to you:
My card today is a very simple one.... I made it a few minutes before I went live today. I just wanted another sample to show off, and by putting the paper, one of the doilies and a sentiment together, the card was very simply made. Of course I added a little silver glimmer (because, you know, glimmer) and the twine is from the co-ordinating Embellishment pack.
To order any of these products use the "SHOP NOW" button on this page.
If you aren't seeing my Facebook Live videos then I suggest you head over to my Facebook Business Page and hit the "Like" button... you'll be notified when Im going live so you can watch in real time. Or just watch the replay later... its up to you! And don't forget to comment and let me know what you think!
Happy stamping!

Black Resist is our technique this month! Come to a class and learn how!
Emboss resist has long been one of my favourite techniques, and this month's class technique is a twist on a classic. Black backgrounds certainly create one of the most dramatic looks, and here I have paired black with a great colour - Tempting Turquoise. Not only is is one of my favourite combinations, but I am also wanting to use Tempting Turquoise because its about to retire! So I have only a few more weeks to use it before its gone for good.... so naturally I am giving it a last hoorah!
We are losing 13 of our core colours this time... but dont worry, its not to late to get them or to stock up on your refills. And of course we have lots of new yummy colours coming your way on June 1st! To order retiring or current products click the "shop now" button on this page.
If you are coming to class next week you will get to make this card with me. Plus 2 more projects that you can create and then take home. Technique classes are held on the second week of each month, and cost $25. This covers all supplies and refreshments. You dont need to bring anything else as a general rule. My classes are held on the Central Coast and are suitable for beginners right through to more seasoned paper crafters. If you would like to book in, click HERE to email me.
To read about other upcoming classes and events, click the Class and Event schedule tab at the top of this page.
I'd love to see you at a class soon!
