Dandelion Wishes and a little whimsy

Today I am showcasing another new set from our awesome Annual Catalogue... this is the lovely Dandelion Wishes stamp set.  Its already been incredibly popular with my customers, and its not hard to see why... i mean, who doesnt love a Dandelion??   The set features several lovely images and 3 cute sentiments:

The advantage of a set like this is that its really easy to use, in a variety of ways, in many different colour combos.  Today I've used the Bokeh backgrounds stamp on my shimmery white paper, stamped in Petal Pink ink.  The Dandelions and sentiments are stamped in Blackberry Bliss.  I added one of the Delicate Lace Edgelits in Champagne glimmer paper and some Fresh Fig ruffled ribbon.  And finally I used the Stitched Seasons framelits (only available until August 31st) for the sentiment piece.  If you havent checked out the Blended Seasons bundle (including these framelits) then I suggest you check them out before they are gone forever!

I hope you enjoyed by card today..... dont forget to keep checking back for more regularly!

(And don't forget about my Online Class with the Blended Seasons bundle..... details HERE)

Here's a product list should you wish to order any of these items for yourself:

Blended Seasons Online Class - How to get it for yourself!

Earlier this month I announced that every customer that purchases the Blended Seasons bundle from me this month will automatically receive this month's Online class from me for free!  Today I wanted to go over exactly what you will receive and tell you two different ways to get it for yourself! (And for something special.. this class includes a beautiful diorama card with made with this bundle!)

So what exactly is an Online Class??  I've been running these for some time now... usually every few months, and I really wanted to do one this month with this awesome bundle of products.  My online classes are an exclusive program where you receive an exclusive link to an instructional video, and if you are in Australia, you also receive all the pre-cut pieces to make the projects as well.  Please note that if you may need a few additional items to complete your projects and I have listed this below. There are two ways to receive this online class and here they are:

1. Full Online Class (available in Australia only) - simply buy the Blended Seasons bundle from me. This can be by contacting me directly or by using my Online Store.  You can also click the picture below to choose your preferred bundle - wood mount or clear mount. The bundle will be sent directly to you at any Australian address and then you will also receive the pieces to stamp and assemble the 3 projects in this class by separate post. You will also receive an email containing a link to an exclusive video tutorial.

Product List

2. Instructional Video Only - if you do not wish to purchase the Blended Seasons bundle OR are unable to do so you can still receive the video link only for a cost of $15.  I have included a PayPal link below for you to click if you wish to take up this option.  Dont worry if you are overseas the exchange rate is automatically calculated for you when you use the PayPal button. You will receive the video link to your email soon after payment is received, but please allow processing time as I do this manually. The video will not be available anywhere else other than through this video link.  It is suggested that you use the Blended Seasons bundle but you might be able to use other similar sets in order to complete the projects.
Please note: if you use the Paypal button below you are purchasing the Online Video tutorial only.

Other suggested items to help you complete the projects this month:

Blackberry Bliss inkpad - or similar darker purple tone.  Other colours that may also co-ordinate might include Rich Razzleberry, and the now retired Elegant Eggplant.

Gray Granite Inkpad - if you do not have this colour you may also be able to use Versamark, or even Sahara Sand ink.

Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Write marker - or a similar darker purple tone

Aqua Painter - or if you don't have an aqua painter you can also use a small paint brush

Adhesive - you can use any adhesive that you choose, however in the class I used Dimensionals, Snail adhesive, glue dots and Tear n'Tape for the gift box.

You will of course need a Big Shot or other die-cutting machine to complete these projects.

For the box in the class I used the Gift Box Punch board.  If you have ordered the bundle you will receive the cardstock for the box already scored and ready to go, so you will not need the punch board.  If you are purchasing just the video tutorial you will either need the punch board or a template to create a similar gift box.

Box closure - I used tiny Neodymium Magnets to keep the box closed and these are readily available on ebay and the like (the size I used here are 8mm x 1mm).  However you could also use velcro dots or other closure options.

Measurements in the tutorial are given in both Metric and Imperial measurements so that anyone can complete these projects regardless of where you are in the world!

I hope you enjoy making these gorgeous projects with me!  Sign up (whether by purchasing the bundle or by buying the Video only via Paypal) will only be available until August 31st 2018.  So you have only a week to go.... get to it!  Please note that the Blended Seasons bundle will NOT be available after August 31st as it is a limited time release.

I know you will love this class!

Ultimate Bling with Blended Seasons and a sneak peek at new products!

I had this card in my head for a couple of days.  You may already know that I love copper and black as a dramatic combination, but for this card I also used some brand new products to bring my idea to life.  This was the first time I had used the Tin Tile dynamic embossing folder and I wanted to use it on the copper foil background, but by itself it looked quite brassy to me.  So I used my Stazon Black inkpad to rub over the embossed surface, creating an aged or vintage look.  This embossing folder will be available in the upcoming Holiday catalogue, due out September 5th.

I also used our Stitched Seasons framelits for the black shape behind the reindeer... and then used the same framelit plus the next size down to cut a "frame" from the new Merry Merlot glimmer paper (available in the new catalogue also) and attached it with dimensionals to the black frame behind.  The sentiment is from the Blended Seasons stamp set, and I stamped it in Merry Merlot ink.  And lastly the reindeer is cut from the new Copper glimmer paper, which is part of the same pack as the Merry Merlot glimmer.  These colours, along with along with Tranquil Tide glimmer, will be available in a 6"x6" pack, ..... they are delicious colours and will be awesome for Christmas! Bring on 5th September!

If however you are thinking of getting the Blended Seasons stamp set or the Stitched Seasons framelits, (or the bundle) then you will need to get them before the end of August as that will be the last day that they are available!  I've been using them for so many projects... both for Christmas and other occasions, and I know how versatile they are!  But they are only available this month!

Finally dont forget that the Bonus Days promotion is on this month.... that means that for every $90 you spend this month, you get a $9 voucher emailed to you to use NEXT month! So for example you could order the Blended Seasons bundle this month, and you will receive a $90 voucher for that in your inbox.  Then anytime in September you can use that $9 against any orders you place in September... so you could use it for the Holiday catalogue products if you wish. Of course you can earn as many $9 vouchers as you like... and add them altogether to make your September shopping even better value!

I've included the links to the Blended Seasons bundles below (in either wood mount or clear mount)... just click on them to place your order through the Online Store!

The gorgeous Nature's Poem Suite for beautiful Scrapbook layouts

One of my favourite suites in our current Annual Catalogue is the Nature's Poem suite.  I actually didnt expect to like it as much as I do, but I have found it so useful for cards (particularly masculine cards) and for scrapbook layouts too.  The Nature's Poem DSP has lots of earthy neutral colours that pair beautifully with neutral cardstock tones, making it especially ideal for outdoor photography shots.   The Stamp set that co-ordinates is called "Rooted in Nature", and of course there are matching framelits too.

Today I used various elements from the stamps and paper to create this simple but effective scrapbook layout.  I used a little stamping (the word "Wonderful" and the pine trees) and I think they work really well with the theme of the page.  The photo itself is from our recent Alaska incentive trip with Stampin'Up... this was a wonderful day we spent on a tour out of Skagway... we went on the White Pass railway up into the Yukon where we got to visit the Yukon suspension bridge. This photo was actually taken from the middle of the bridge, looking up the river into the distance.  It was actually really hard picking a photo.... I have SO MANY!  What an amazing experience it was!

I did this single page layout for a recent class and everyone that attended loved this colour scheme and theme.  Even though people had all brought totally different types of photos, the neutral palette worked really well with all of them.

I've included a product list below.... to order just click on the products that you want. Or if you prefer you can use the Online Store by clicking the "SHOP NOW" button.

Here's a couple of close ups to better show off some of the details....

I was really happy with how this turned out.... I hope you use this gorgeous bundle to create some great projects too!

Video Tutorial - my 3d swaps for Alaska... Elegant Treat boxes

Today I have a little video tutorial to showcase how I made these cute little treat boxes!  These boxes were my swaps for the recent Alaska Cruise with Stampin'Up... I filled them up with chocolate hearts wrapped in silver foil, and they looked super cute!  I hope the girls that received them loved them!

I first got the idea for these when I received the botanical tags framelits... straightaway I wondered whether they would fit the clear tiny treat boxes.  And yes they do... they are designed to be toppers for 2" wide tags, but the boxes also have 2" walls, so they fit them perfectly too.

When I started working on these I had a friend help me, and we had a production line going:

Then I took them with me overseas, but not assembled, so that I could put them together on the boat:

My hubby and I put them together in our cabin on the first afternoon on board.

Here I am delivering them to Stampin'Up to hand out to 25 of the other demonstrators... our meeting place was called "Stampers Base Camp" and we had a lot of fun catching up with other demonstrators there.

But the best bit about these little boxes is that they are easy to make so that you can make them too!  There is no stamping or special technique involved, you just need the Botanical Tags dies and your Big Shot die cutting machine, as well as the Clear Tiny Treat boxes and some cardstock in the colour of your choice.  I hope you enjoy them!

Here is the video:

Perfect Match... Blended Seasons and Stampin' Blends

So maybe its obvious... but Stampin' Blends work perfectly with the Blended Seasons bundle!  I've tried colouring these lovely stamps in lots of different ways, but Stampin' Blends are pretty spectacular!  I stamped my flowers on the Stitched frame with Memento Black ink, and then these ones are coloured with Dark and Light Rich Razzleberry.  The leaves are Dark and Light Mint Macaron, which really look great with the Razzleberry I think!

I've included a product list below should you wish to purchase any of these items for yourself!  Enjoy my card today!
