Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Its the very last day of 2019 and so I wanted to wish you an amazing year ahead!
This week its my turn to do the tutorial over on the Master Stamper site! Each month myself and my colleagues Ann Clemmer and Pip Todman produce weekly videos so that you can learn new techniques and ideas, and see what's new! This weekend its my turn and so I decided that it would be nice to do a watercolouring tutorial, and show you some of my tips to get great results with this favourite technique. I've given you a little sneak peek of the card we will be making in the picture above... but Im not showing the full card because that's just for Master Stamper members!
If you would like to know more about the Master Stamper program click HERE. I love this program and I think you'll love it too. Stay for a few weeks, a few months, or as long as you like! You can cancel the membership at any time.
So if you would like to learn how to watrcolour with me, join Master Stamper this week! My video will be up on the weekend, but there are well over 250 videos from Ann and Pip too! Its a fabulous wealth of information!
A very happy new year to you all..... see you in 2020!!!

Sneak Peek at the Honey Bee stamp set and matching dies!
Hello friends! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas! I have a quick share for you today, and it features some brand new products from our upcoming Mini Catalog that will be released to customers on the 3rd January 2020. This is called the Honey Bee suite.... and today I have just used the stamps and dies to create this simple little card.
First I used the honeycomb dies to create a background on my white cardstock with Crushed Curry ink. I stamped several bees in Memento black ink and cut them out with the matching die. I used a Mango Melody blends marker to colour in the stripes on their back, and added a dimensional behind each one. For a bit of whimsy I used one of our Journalling pens to create dotted lines to show the path the bees might have taken, and then popped the bees where i wanted them. I stamped the sentiment from the same set and added a strip of gold glimmer paper for a bit of sparkle, plus some gold sequins to finish.
I hope you enjoy my card today! Im currently having a few days away with family and I hope that you are spending this Holiday time with people that you love too!
I'll be back again soon!

Video Tutorial: A Very Australian Christmas card!
I made this card a week or two ago, and finally today I found a little time to make a video tutorial on it. We are currently in the middle of moving house, so to say things are chaotic is an understatement. So its not really surprising that my video went a bit pear-shaped today too! I was almost at the end, and suddenly I lost my audio... no idea why.... so the video ends a bit abruptly! BUT the basics are all there, and i hope you enjoy it anyway!
Here is the tutorial:
I've included a product list of the items used below. You can purchase from this product list by clicking on the products that you want. Or you can visit the ONLINE STORE. There's also a great range of bargain items in the Clearance Rack.... so head to the store to see that too!
Enjoy the card! I've loved sharing my projects and my tutorials with you again this year, and you can bet you'll more designs and inspiration in the new year! Love to you and your families, and be sure to check back for more ideas. (And SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube channel so that you don't miss upcoming tutorials too!)

SNEAK PEEK - Honey Bee stamps and dies from our upcoming Mini Catalogue
I have to tell you that I love bees! I've always loved them.... when we were little my Dad used to do a little part-time bee keeping, and it was so fascinating. As an adult I still find them interesting, even though it seems there aren't as many of them around these days. And even though I do have a mild allergic reaction to their stings. I love them, but dont love it when they sting!
So when I saw this super cute Honey Bee suite in our new Mini catalogue.... they went on my wish list straight away! And Im so glad I got them! The bee images are super detailed.... and they are also distINKtive style stamps, which means that they give you that beautiful light and dark shading! I am super impressed with how these stamps stamp!
I hope you love the finished card as much as I do.... it was lots of fun to make. And how gorgeous is that background DSP with its lovely gold foil accents?? Its worth noting that the DSP is a free item, redeemable with a $90 order after January 3rd.
All of these items will be available after January 3rd... and its not long now!
I hope you enjoy the card as much as I enjoyed making it!

SNEAK PEEK - Peaceful Poppies DSP for stunning cards!
There is LOTS happening around here right now... and keeping me very very busy! In case you havent heard we are moving house in early January and the packing has now begun. That means my crafting space has reduced somewhat (not to mention my time) and so I am sticking to simple projects right now! This stunning DSP is called Peaceful Poppies and it is part of the Peaceful Poppies suite. I've used one of the paper sheets from the back (the front and reverse side of the same sheet) and paired it with a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set which is part of the same suite.
And how nice is that vellum swirly piece behind my circle?? That is from the suite as well... its from the Painted Labels dies... I love it!!! The ribbon is the last piece I used from the suite... its the Whisper White 1/4" crinkled seam binding ribbon.
All these products will be available from January 3rd 2020... so this is a little sneak peek for you today. I love the vibrant colours... the scream happy to me!!!
Back with more for you soon!

Birds of a Feather AND Mercury Glass! Saying goodbye to these and more......
This week saw the release of our latest retiring list.... we now know what will be retiring from the current Holiday catalogue. And Stampin'Up have also done something different this year... they have decided to carry over SOME items from the current Holiday catalogue to the NEXT Holiday catalogue (2020). This means that at the end of this catalogue (January 2nd) these items will not be available again until the next Holiday catalogue (released September 2020). This is good news for those of us that still have items on their wishlist but they dont need them right now... you can wait and know they will be available again in the future. Or if you cant wait that long, you know to get them now.
And then there are some items that are simply retiring, and once sold out, they will be gone for good. Like some of the items on my card today... the Mercury Glass Acetate is retiring, as are the "Birds of a Feather" stamp set and the Snowfall Accents puff paint. If you are after these items you will need to get them now!
To see everything that is being discontinued, head over to the ONLINE STORE and scroll through these items to make sure you dont miss out on anything you want or need. You'll find these items under the heading "Year-end Closeouts". Remember they are available until the 2nd January unless they sell out first!
Enjoy my card today and stay tuned for more coming your way!

Video Tutorial: Gorgeous Christmas gift card holder
I dont know about you, but sometimes I feel like its a bit underwhelming to give someone a gift card. Or possibly a little impersonal. Well here's a way to make it really personal.... by packaging it in this gorgeous gift card holder that you made yourself. Im so happy with this project! I made it with my stamp club girls this past month, and I thought that it would also make a great YouTube tutorial.
So here it is.... because the full instructional video is quite long I also made a shorter version for those that just wanted to see it made, but didn't need measurements and such. You can choose which one you prefer to watch.
Have a fabulous day!!!

Video Tutorial: Whitewashing Technique with the Christmas Rose bundle
Hello my friends! Today's video tutorial features the absolutely beautiful Christmas Rose bundle yet again. I adore this bundle because its not just for Christmas.... you could use these lovely stamps all year around, and just mix and match with different sentiments. So when you are looking at it, please remember that you will get a ton of use out of it.... it's versatility goes way beyond the holiday season.
Today I decided to return to one of my favourite techniques. I've used the whitewashing technique before (click HERE to see another video I made that uses this fabulous technique) but this time I heat embossed my image with Silver embossing powder rather than the gold I had used in the previous video. And my base cardstock this time is Night of Navy (instead of Crumb Cake). But the technique is very similar. Except that after I had whitewashed the image, I decided it looked a little "flat"to me.... so I used a sponge dauber to add some navy highlights.... and it made all the difference! You'll see exactly what I mean when you watch the video... just click the picture below to see it:

Video Tutorial: Romantic card and matching envelope with the Beautiful Friendship stamp set
Today's card is a really special one. You see, my Dad got married on the weekend. At the age of 86, he has found a beautiful lady (just a few years his junior) to spend the rest of his life with. We attended their wedding on Saturday and it was a beautiful day. I am so glad they have each other and don't have to be lonely anymore!
So I made this card for them, and not only did it match my fingernail polish perfectly... but it also matched her dress!!
I thought you might like to see it too.... and you could even make it for yourself. The video tutorial is below... enjoy!!

Video Tutorial: Super Easy Christmas Card with the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley
Today's video showcases the gorgeous "Most Wonderful Time" product medley..... and you will love this super-simple and quick card! If you are looking for something easy to work with.... this card certainly fits the bill! My card was inspired by Amy Koenders in the US.... she did a very similar card in slightly different colours. But I just loved the simplicity of it!
One question I have heard is what to do when the stickers in the bundle run out..... there are actually quite a lot of reindeer stickers, but when you use up those, you can also use the other stickers... the Christmas tree stickers would also work of course. Or you could use the stamps from the bundle too.... there is a lovely large Christmas tree stamp and a matching die to cut it out perfectly. So there are many options.
I've included a product list below if you wish to purchase any of these items. The medley is available for one item code to include everything in the bundle, but I've also included the cardstock and inks in the list. You can click on the individual item to be taken to the store where you can view a larger image if you wish.
Click the picture below to check out the tutorial..... and enjoy!
