Video Tutorial: Romantic card and matching envelope with the Beautiful Friendship stamp set

Today's card is a really special one.  You see, my Dad got married on the weekend.  At the age of 86, he has found a beautiful lady (just a few years his junior) to spend the rest of his life with.  We attended their wedding on Saturday and it was a beautiful day.  I am so glad they have each other and don't have to be lonely anymore!

So I made this card for them, and not only did it match my fingernail polish perfectly... but it also matched her dress!!

I thought you might like to see it too.... and you could even make it for yourself.  The video tutorial is below... enjoy!!

Today is pretty special because for TODAY ONLY (Wednesday 23rd October) Stampin'Up have marked down the prices of a whole bunch of stamps!  Click over HERE to see the full list of what's on sale.  Especially if you've had your eye on a couple of sets from our Annual Catalogue... now is the time to grab them!

But don't forget that the sale ENDS AT MIDNIGHT tonight!

The card at the top of this post is made with a couple of my favourite sets from the Sale List.  I've used the sentiment and leaves from the lovely "Rooted in Nature" stamp set, whilst the background grungy look is created with the "Artisan Textures" stamp set.  The leaves are punched from Copper Foil with the Leaf Punch, and the sentiment is punched out with the Timeless Label punch.  A full list of products used to make this card is below. I hope you like it!!!

Video Tutorial: Super Easy Christmas Card with the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley

Today's video showcases the gorgeous "Most Wonderful Time" product medley..... and you will love this super-simple and quick card!  If you are looking for something easy to work with.... this card certainly fits the bill!  My card was inspired by Amy Koenders in the US.... she did a very similar card in slightly different colours. But I just loved the simplicity of it!

One question I have heard is what to do when the stickers in the bundle run out..... there are actually quite a lot of reindeer stickers, but when you use up those, you can also use the other stickers... the Christmas tree stickers would also work of course. Or you could use the stamps from the bundle too.... there is a lovely large Christmas tree stamp and a matching die to cut it out perfectly. So there are many options.

I've included a product list below if you wish to purchase any of these items. The medley is available for one item code to include everything in the bundle, but I've also included the cardstock and inks in the list.  You can click on the individual item to be taken to the store where you can view a larger image if you wish.

Click the picture below to check out the tutorial..... and enjoy!

Simple Stamping with the Beautiful Friendship stamp set

Each month Stampin'Up challenges us to create a "simple stamping" project.... just stamps, ink and paper, and some months we are allowed to use another item as well. This month we are also allowed to use a punch, and so my card today meets the brief!

I used the gorgeous "Beautiful Friendship" stamp set for this card.  I adore this stamp set!  Its fabulous if you are new to stamping and just looking for an easy set to create with.  I think its very difficult to create a bad card with this set!  And its also fabulous if you are an avid crafter, but sometimes you need a quick and easy set to create with.... this is definitely your set!  I love that you can just stamp a bouquet of flowers in your favourite colours, and possibly add something like a punched sentiment, and you have a beautiful card in 5 minutes flat!

Ive included a product list below should you wish to purchase this set or any of the other products I used today.  Enjoy!!!

Video Tutorial: Easy Window card with the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley

Hello crafters!  Today I have created a video tutorial to show how you can easily make a cute window card.  You could use any products for this, but I have chosen to use the Most Wonderful Time product medley. This is a special group of products that has just one item code to cover all the items in the medley.  It retails for $122, and gets you stamps, dies, DSP, tinsel trim, gold star embellishments and co-ordinating cardstock stickers.  I love how all the product in the bundle work together!!!

So on to the window card.  I just did mine on white cardstock, but of course you could use any colour you like.  But I think you will really enjoy the video... I'd love to know what you think! Click the picture below to view it.

Video Tutorial: Introducing the Christmastime is Here Suite of products

This week I received a gorgeous new suite of products to play with... its called the "Christmastime is Here" suite of products, and its very simply quite beautiful.  I've already created a number of projects with it, and today I've decided to use this little whitewashed card to show off the suite.  This isn't the first time I have created white washed cards... its become quite a favourite technique, and in fact I did a video tutorial showing this same technique with the Good Morning Magnolia stamps.  This was a couple of months ago now, but if you would like to see that video you can click HERE to see it.

The Christmastime is Here suite and Christmas Rose stamp set will not be available to customers until the 1st November, but Im planning on showing it off during October so you get to see how versatile it is.  I hope to inspire you to create with it for yourself!

Without further ado, here is the video tutorial:

Video Tutorial: Easy Still Scenes Snow Globe card.... in PURPLE!

Last night I posted this gorgeous snow globe card with the Still Scenes bundle on my social media, and I received a couple of requests for a video on how to make it.  I think its the purple colour tones that set it apart!  I was inspired by some of the colours in the Feels like Frost Speciality Designer Series paper, and so this idea was born. The best news is that these Snow Globe cards are much easier to make than you might think... especially with the new Still Scenes bundle and the Snow Globe Shaker domes from Stampin'Up!

So on to the tutorial.... I've included the details of many of the supplies in the video. If you are in Australia and wish to purchase any of the items I used, just head over to my Online Store.

Oh and if you would like to come along to my technique class on the 13th November then we will be making projects with these snow globes!  I still have spots left at the time of writing this. Click the class schedule tab above for more details.

A sneak peek at this month's Master Stamper project with the Feels like Frost suite

This week on Master Stamper it is my turn to create a project and video tutorial for another cool project.  Im not showing the full project here, as that is for Master Stamper members only, but I wanted to give you an idea of what we will be creating.

Every week on Master Stamper we put up a fabulous tutorial for you to follow, plus written instructions and product lists.  I'm on the design team over there, and its a fabulous program.

What exactly is Master Stamper you ask?  Well its a fabulous site where you have access to over 250 tutorials, plus tips and inspiration. For those so inclined there is also a Facebook group so you can chat to other members and ask questions.

The photo above is a sneak peek of my project on Master Stamper this month (October).... there are always tips and ideas in every tutorial I produce, and I think you will love it.  But its exclusive to Master Stamper members.

From my point of view, the best thing about Master Stamper is that you can access it no matter where in the world you are.  Many of my followers here are based overseas, which means they can't be my customers (in terms of purchasing products) but they CAN subscribe to Master Stamper and all the benefits of it.  And I'm not the only demonstrator on there... you also have access to Ann Clemmer in the US, and Pip Todman in the UK.  We'll look after you!

There are fabulous projects that spotlight current products and there will be more projects coming up with brand new Holiday catalogue products too.  Subscription to Master Stamper costs just $14.97 usd per month, and you can cancel at any time.  Give it a try today! Here is the Paypal link to sign up....

Scrapbooking Layouts with the "Capture the Good" stamp set

Today I ran my bi-monthly scrapbooking class in the Hunter Valley.  I really look forward to these classes... I love seeing how everyone's pages turn out and of course it helps me keep up with my own scrapbooking too!  I start with a simple basic design, but I choose colours and design elements based on the photos that the girls bring along.

Today I made a couple of different designs and samples for them.  But my favourite layouts were ones created with the "Capture the Good" stamp set.  To be honest, I didnt own this stamp set, but had admired it for a while, and I borrowed it off my good friend Courtenay just for today.  Wow!  I was so impressed with how the layouts turned out... and of course I have now decided that I NEED this set for myself!  Another one for the collection.....

These layouts show off pics of our recent trip to Italy that my hubby and I tacked on to the end of the Greek Isles Incentive Trip with Stampin' Up!  What and adventure we had!  So grateful to be recognised for doing what I love anyway!  (And to top it off Sara Douglass, the CEO of Stampin'Up in the US called me today to congratulate me on reaching my personal sales milestone of 500k!  How cool is that??  She made my day!)

Here are a couple more of the designs with the "Capture the Good" stamp set...

Enjoy!!!

Video Tutorial: Clever Tricks with the Cup of Christmas bundle!

Today I have created a new video to show how I made this cute card above.  There are a few tricks to it though, so I thought a video would be the easiest way to explain what I did.

I love it when I can repurpose products for something other than for which they were designed!  This card is a great example!

Enjoy the video!
