Upcoming Catalogue Launch Events in June 2020
It's almost time! Im really excited to share our latest Annual Catalogue with you.... and Im kicking it off this week! This latest catalogue runs from June 3rd 2020 to May 3rd 2021. Did you notice thats not quite a year away.... so this catalogue will be a little shorter this time. There's a slight change to the catalogue program.... our Mini Catalogues are going to be running a little longer (yay!) and the Annual will come out in May from 2021. Little changes... but I am really happy about this. The timing will work well I think, and give a bit more time with the Annual Catalogue before the Holiday Mini (Christmas!) comes out.
For this new Catalogue I will be running some different launch events. On Wednesday June 3rd at 11am (Sydney time) I will be on my Facebook page Live, and doing a Catalogue tour as well as making a couple of cards with new stuff. Im planning on doing several videos over the course of the day, to show off lots of beautiful new stuff. If you're not already viewing my Facebook Business Page, be sure to head there now and hit the "like" button. That way you'll know when I am live and be able to check out the replays if you are unable to watch them live. Im planning on having several giveaways during the day so you'll need to be on the live videos for those. Have your new catalogue handy, and lets have some fun!
THEN on Saturday 20th June, I am planning a ZOOM launch/class where we can all make a couple of projects together. So keep the date free in your diary and stay tuned for more details this week!
Of course I'll be posting projects all month long both here and on my Facebook Business page and Instagram accounts. And you'll see me on my YouTube channel too! June is going to be a busy month for me!
If you are in Australia and wish to purchase products with me, please visit my Online Store by clicking the SHOP NOW button on this page. Until June 2nd there are still retiring products available. And of course the Clearance rack too.
Have a great day!!

Blossoms in Bloom having a Magenta Madness Moment!
One of our new Incolors this year is the brightest of pinks! It's called "Magenta Madness", and I've started creating some projects with this striking colour (and the other Incolors of course... stay tuned for more examples to come!) In particular I think this colour works amazingly with Basic Black... as I have done in this card today.
The new colours (including Magenta Madness) will be available from June 3rd, and I think you are going to love them! I've also used the awesome Blossoms in Bloom bundle for this card.... and I don't think I've seen a card yet with this bundle that I dont like! Here I trimmed some of the other flowers away from the ones I wanted to use, and then adhered the detailed diecut (in white) over the more solid diecut (in Magenta), and then layered it all over the scalloped black rectange from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. The ribbon is also a new ribbon coming out on June 3rd, along with these dies and stamps and DSP.
Here's another view:
If you'd like to see more of my creations with brand new and upcoming products then head over to my Facebook Business page and click the "like" button. I'll also be doing a Launch of the new catalogue there this week so you definitely want to check that out!
Have a great weekend!!

Facebook Live Tutorial: Tasteful Touches card in White and Rose
Today on my Facebook Live I created this lovely card. I usually head over and do a Facebook Live video on Wednesdays at 11am (Sydney time) but today for various reasons I had to move the timeslot to 4pm (after school pickup). So I made this card which came together pretty quickly. I usually have a rough idea of what I want to create on my live videos.... which sometimes makes for some interesting viewing - especially if my idea doesnt translate well to the actual creation. But mostly I get away with it... and sometimes I am super happy with it. Like this card today!
Here's a different view:
If you would like to see the replay of the Live video where I put this card together you can check it out below! Most of these items will be available from June 3rd. If you are in Australia and would like to purchase them you can visit the Online Store by clicking the SHOP NOW button. Enjoy!

Online Speciality Class - Open now until Friday 29th May unless sold out prior!
ONLINE SPECIALITY CLASS - OPEN NOW UNTIL FRIDAY 29TH MAY UNLESS SOLD OUT PRIOR!
Welcome to my latest Online Class! This time we are creating a different kind of project - its a super cute beach bag with several note cards inside. I've used the retiring Tropical Oasis DSP in this class and it goes really well to create a Beach Bag style. You can see a "sneak peek" of our project for this class in the picture above. It would make a great gift for a friend, or something cute just for yourself.
Please note that YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OWN THESE PRODUCTS TO DO THE CLASS. You can substitute with any stamps you may already own.
You have two options to participate in the class:
1. Tutorial Only.
No matter where you are in the world you are welcome to purchase the "Tutorial Only" option. I have set up a Paypal button for this. You will get the link to the video tutorial, and can follow the instructions using whatever stamps and products you have in your stash. Please note however that the bag itself is a die from the "All Dressed Up" dies, so you would need either that, or a similar template that allows you to create a bag. They note cards inside are very simple, but I also include some tips and technique ideas in the tutorial. The cost for this option is $20aud. Here is the paypal button to click to get the video only option:
If you are in Australia and would like me to send out the materials to make this project as well as the video tutorial showing how to put it together then all you need to do is place an order with me through my ONLINE STORE and when you check out be sure to use the Host Code ZSH6HC67. This Host Code will identify that you wish to be part of the class so that I can send the materials out. I have decided not to place a minimum order amount on ordering... right now I understand that some people are doing it tough financially. So ANY size order that uses this code will qualify you for the class. And yes, you can add retiring products or clearance rack items to your order. Click the SHOP NOW button to go shopping!
The video link will be sent to you by email within 24 hours of placing your order. This Online Class option will be open to register until Friday 29th May, 2020. Class packs will all be in the mail either by the end of this week (for earlier orders) or by Monday 1st June (for later orders).
BUT PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO LIMITED SUPPLIES I HAVE TO PUT A CAP ON THIS CLASS - THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS WILL BE 15. AFTER THAT THE CLASS CODE WILL BE TURNED OFF AND NO MORE PACKS WILL BE SENT.
Please note that the materials sent out will include the die cut or punched shapes needed for these cards.... all you need to do is stamp them and assemble them together. (You do not have to own this stamp set - you can substitute with any suitable sentiment stamps you have in your collection) So you'll need the following inks and adhesives (or similar):
Suggested Inks:
If you love the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper it is still available at time of writing, as it is on our retiring list. (You dont need it to do the class as I included all your pieces in the supplies pack) The Timeless Tropical stamp set is not retiring - it will continue into the next Annual catalogue.
I hope you will join me for this Online class this month... and that you enjoy this fun Beach Bag project!

Video Tutorial: Painted Harvest Thankful Card
Today I am showcasing more of our Retiring items... that is products that will be discontinued as of June 2nd, 2020. Of course many of these items have already sold out, but at time of writing this, the items I have used here are still current and available. But dont wait too long if you want them as they wont be around for long!
This is one of the sets that I am really going to miss! Its called the Painted Harvest stamp set, and as you can see it gives a beautifully layered "painted" look (as the name suggests!) And when you watch the tutorial, you will also see how easy it is to use. I also used my favourite retiring punch - the Leaf Punch - on this card, as it sooo versatile. Another product that will be sadly missed. Thank goodness that there are more than enough brand new products to console myself with! Truth is, its a really exciting time of year!
Here's a close up of today's card:

Above the Clouds is retiring... along with the Hot Air Balloon punch!
Today I made a Facebook Live video to chat about our retiring punches. Only a week and a half until they are discontinued, so today I took the chance to highlight which ones were going to be saying goodbye, and also I showed how a couple of them are used to create cute card effects.
A couple of the retiring punches have already sold out completely... for example the 1" circle, the 1/2" Circle, and the Starburst punches have all sold out. However a few (such as the Hot Air Balloon punch, and the Leaf Punch) are still available. So if you love them... be sure to jump over to the Online Store and grab them while you can.
The card above shows the Hot Air Balloon punch, paired with the Above the Clouds stamp set (also retiring). They are available as a bundle if you want both - and buying them as a bundle will save you 10%. I've included them in the product list below.
If you would like to see me make this card then click on the video link below. And enjoy it!!!

So below you will find the video tutorial to show you how I made this card, and to give you some great tips and ideas for working with these products. Click the video below:

Our Honey Bee Bundle is retiring! Get it before it's gone!
One of the items I was most sad to see on this year's retiring list is the Honey Bee Bundle. Both the stamps and dies will not longer be available after this catalogue ends. And with some items already sold out on the list, they may not last even that long! But I just checked now, and they are still available right now here in Australia. (Check with your Stampin' Up demonstrator if you are elsewhere)
To order this beautiful bundle, or to view the other "Last chance items" head over to my Online Store by clicking HERE. Items are sent directly to your door, for a low postage charge, so that means that Online Shopping is the very best way to make sure you get all the craft items you need.
In my card today I used a number of items... some of which are retiring, and some not. You can see all the items I used in the product list below. I hope you love the card (I like everything I see made with these stamps and dies!)

Blossoms in Bloom stamp set sneak peek
Its that time of year again... on one hand we are working with our retiring products and giving them a good final outing before they discontinue. On the other hand, we demonstrators are getting our hands on new products for the first time as our Pre-Orders begin to arrive. So yesterday I had my very first play with some new products... the gorgeous "Blossoms in Bloom" stamp set... and I used it to make these very simple cards you see here. I think that this will be a really popular set this year.... its a great big stamp with lots of flowers on it (and some other smaller flowers and leaves in the set as well). So it lends itself well to simple one layer cards, as well as quick and easy stamping.
I hope you enjoy these cards today... I'll have lots more to show you in the coming days. If you cant wait for my blog posts you can also visit me on my Facebook page HERE... I post creations and ideas every day over there. Once there, hit the "Like" button so that you can see when I add more content for you.
Oh.... and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all you gorgeous ladies!!!

Video Tutorial: How to create cool backgrounds with the Bleached Bubblewrap technique
Today I wanted to share a very cool background technique with you... Im calling it the Bleached Bubblewrap background technique, and I used it to create the background for this cool card you see above.
For my card I also used the "Label Me Bold" stamp set (which is retiring from our current Mini Catalogue) to stamp a "grungy" edge around the panel. I used Early Espresso ink, but any brownish ink would work. I also added a bit of silver embossing for a metallic effect.... the stamp I used for that is the larger Grungy stamp from the "Painted Poppies" set. Painted Poppies is not retiring and it will still be available in the next Annual catalogue due out on the 3rd June.
I really hope you enjoy this technique and will try it out with lots of different colour combinations... different coloured cardstocks will give different results as shown in the following photograph:
I show you how to create the background in the video below. Enjoy!

Ornate Garden Thanks for all you do
Hello friends!
Im just stopping by today to show you this card I made with the beautiful Ornate Thanks, and Ornate Style stamp sets. I've paired it up with some of our new dies that co-ordinate with these sets. But I think that what really makes this card stand out is the colouring! I used some of our fabulous Blends markers (which are alcohol markers and colour so beautifully!).
If you would like to see the Facebook Live video in which I made this card, you can click HERE to see it. Don't forget to hit the SUBSCRIBE button over there so that you dont miss out on other videos that I have coming soon!
I hope you like the card and enjoy the video!
