Masculine Cards Online Class - Open until July 5th or until sold out!

Welcome to my latest Online Class!  This time we are creating MASCULINE CARDS!  For this class I will be using products from the "In Good Taste" and "World of Good" suites.    You can see a "sneak peek" of our cards for this class in the picture above (note that there may be slight differences in the papers used in the projects).

Please note that YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OWN THESE PRODUCTS TO DO THE CLASS.  You can substitute with any stamps you may already own.

You have two options to participate in the class:

1. Tutorial Only.

No matter where you are in the world you are welcome to purchase the "Tutorial Only" option.  I have set up a Paypal button for this.  You will get the link to the video tutorial, and can follow the instructions using whatever stamps and products you have in your stash. There are instructions for three great cards included in the video tutorial.  They are relatively simple, but I also include some tips and technique ideas.  The cost for this option is $20aud. Here is the paypal button to click to get the video only option:
>2. Class Pack AND Tutorial.

If you are in Australia and would like me to send out the materials to make these projects as well as the video tutorial showing how to put them together then all you need to do is place an order with me through my ONLINE STORE and when you check out be sure to use the Host Code   6BDZDHNV.  This Host Code will identify that you wish to be part of the class so that I can send the materials out.  I have decided not to place a minimum order amount on ordering... right now I understand that some people may have financial constraints that do not allow them to place larger orders.  So ANY size order that uses this code will qualify you for the class.  (Please note that this may change in the future)

The video link will be sent to you by email within 48 hours of placing your order.  This Online Class option will be open to register until Friday 3rd July, 2020.  Class packs will all be in the mail either by Monday 6th July.

Please note that the materials sent out will include the die cut or punched shapes needed for these cards.... all you need to do is stamp them and assemble them together.  (You do not have to own these stamp sets - you can substitute with any suitable sentiment stamps you have in your collection)  Below are suggestions for items that would be helpful to have for the class -  inks, colouring tools and adhesives (or similar):

Ink:

  • Early Espresso
  • Crumb Cake/Sahara Sand/Gray Granite

Adhesvies:
  • Seal or Seal +
  • Tombow Multipurpose glue
  • Dimensionals
  • Mini Glue Dots
Additional:
  • Sponge Dauber or sponge

PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited supplies of a couple of items I will be capping the class packs available at 15. So if we reach this number before the 3rd July, the class will be closed early.

I hope you will join me for this Online class this month... and that you enjoy these beautiful cards!

Facebook Live Tutorial: the clever Today's Tile bundle

I had my very first play with the Today's Tile bundle of products this week.... and I might just be hooked.  These stamps are super clever... they line up over each other to create these fabulous designs.  I found my Stamparatus really useful when working with them, but you could also use your acrylic blocks too.  So I made this video to show how they work with the Stamparatus, and Im hoping you can see how fun they are. They remind me of doing puzzles - and the result is really satisfying!

Click the picture below to view the video. I hope you enjoy it!

Prized Peony for the most beautiful cards

One of our newest sets available right now is the Prized Peony stamp set (and matching Peony dies).  These are simply stunning, and together with the co-ordinating Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) will enable you to create soft but gorgeous projects. I've been using them for a range of projects since they arrived in my craft room.

Today's card uses all these elements, and also the matching Elegant Faceted Gems and the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon. All together I think you will agree they work beautifully!

Here's a close up of the card...

Enjoy the card! I've included a product list for you below should you wish to purchase any of these items.  If you are in Australia, items are delivered to your door for a low postage fee.

Video Tutorial: Introducing the new Simply Citrus Card kit

Today I created these lovely cards from the new Simply Citrus card kit in our latest Annual Catalogue. If you are looking for quick and simple but gorgeous cards, then this is a great kit for that!  The colours are fun and fresh, and the cards make up in really quick time. Its worth noting that EVERYTHING you need to create these cards is in the box... except for scissors that you will need to cut the twine.

The kit was the subject of my Facebook Live video on my Business Facebook page today.  If you would like to watch the replay, click the video link below. And enjoy!!!

My Zoom Catalogue Launch is coming up! Read on for details.....

This has certainly been a very different year for many businesses.... and my own Stamping business has been effected too of course. But for me, it hasn't been all bad.  Whilst I've had to stop running my business face to face, the Online side of my business has been doing extremely well.  I have several theories for this... Firstly, due to the whole COVID situation we found ourselves in lockdown, and having to find new ways to reach out to people.  So it forced me to get a bit creative about how I do business. Secondly, people were at home and looking for things to do... and of course Crafters know how to fill in their time! So they were reaching out to me online and switched to ordering online as well.  And thirdly, crafters have big hearts, and I know many of those in my little community wanted to support me, to ensure that my business would continue to succeed.  I cant tell you all how grateful I am for every order, for every handmade card I received. For those that "liked" my posts on social media... or commented or engaged in any way. I am so grateful for you!  Rather than stepping back, my business has actually flourished under these very strange circumstances, and I am grateful!

It's also given me the opportunity to try out some new ideas and different ways of doing things. And I tried a couple of new things this month with regards to my catalogue launches... I did a Facebook Live launch at the beginning of the month (you can watch the replays on YouTube if you wish), and now I am doing something else new... Im running my very first Zoom Catalogue Launch on Saturday the 27th June @ 2pm.  If you are in Australia, and you'd like to attend this event... then I still have some spaces left right now.

The images you see on this page are Sneak Peeks of 2 our our projects (we are making 3 altogether) and I think you will love them!

To be part of it you just need to register for the class, and you need to have downloaded the Zoom program to your computer.  To register, you can either pay $20 (aud) for the class, OR place an order through my Online store for $60 or more (using the code 7V3NMDMR ).  Either placing the order or paying directly for the class will enroll you in the class.  I will send out class packs to all those registered, so that they arrive before the event.  I will then send you a link for the Zoom launch event, and we will all get together at 2pm on the day, and make up our projects together.   Its the first time I have done an event like this, so it will be exciting to see how it goes.  If anyone needs a run through to check that its all working before the day, reach out to me and we'll give it a try.

PLEASE NOTE: You need to enrol by Wednesday 17th June so I can finalise the class packs and get them out to you. I am capping this class at 12 people, so be sure to register soon so that you don't miss out.  Due to the timing of this class and the class packs being mailed out I can only offer this launch event to Australian customers.

If anyone just wants to pay for the class pack only (without placing an order) then I've created a Paypal button below for you.  (If you are placing an order instead, do not use the PayPal button!)
I'll be using the Forever Fern stamps and bundle, as well as the Prized Peony bundle.  Please note that you do not have to own these items to complete the class... you can substitute with whatever stamps you might have in your existing collection. However if you do wish to purchase these items you will find them useful, even though not necessary.

Here are some other suggested items to complete the class:

  • Adhesives (I suggest Tombow or liquid adhesive, Snail/Seal or similar, Dimensionals, glue dots)
  • Scissors (Paper snips and sharp ribbon scissors)
  • Sponge or daubers
  • Inks  - I used Gray Granite, but you could also use Early Espresso or Smoky slate. Even black would suffice.  I also used Early Espresso brown on vellum, but if you choose to use Stazon Black instead that would suffice.  The other colour I used was Just Jade, but you could use either Early Espresso again, or black or Shaded Spruce)
  • You can change the sentiments to whatever stamps you have in your collection if you dont have the ones I have used.
Everything else is provided, and all shapes have been measured and cut to make up the projects.

I hope you will be able to join us. If you have questions, please click HERE to email me.  Or to place an order use the SHOP NOW button on this page (don't forget to use the class code  7V3NMDMR when you are checking out as thats how I know you want to do the class!)

Video Tutorial: Blossoms in Bloom Soft Vellum Card

Today I have created a new Video Tutorial for you.... and we are playing with the beautiful Blossoms in Bloom bundle to make these lovely cards.  I used the two layers of the dies.... the top more detailed layer is cut from Whisper White cardstock, while the lower layer is cut from Vellum.  I love the soft effect this creates!

The background layer is a piece of our gorgeous "Artistry Blooms" Designer Series paper.... I just love it! Here's a close up pic of one of the cards:

Click on the picture below to check out the Video tutorial to show you how to make one for yourself!  And if you wish to purchase any Stampin'Up products in my Online Store you can click HERE.

Facebook Live Catalogue Launch Part 4 - World of Good Suite

Today is the last of my Catalogue launch videos. I made these last week as a way to introduce a bunch of new catalogue products.  I hope you have enjoyed the series!

In today's video I showcased the "World of Good" suite of products.  I just love how awesome these items are for making masculine cards in particular. But any travel themed products are always right up my alley!

Of course if you would like to see more of these types of videos and posts from me, head over to my Facebook Page and click the "LIKE" button. I post there almost every day, and you can be part of my little online community!

Enjoy this video below!

Facebook Live Catalogue Launch - Part 3

And so we move on to the third video in my Catalogue Launch series.  For this one I focused on the new Incolor collection (2020-2022), and also the Lovely Labels Pick-a-punch.  And I used the "Jar of Flowers" bundle to showcase these items.  I think the "Jar of Flowers" is an awesome bundle and there are lots of different ways to use it.

You'll find the video below.  In the video I did a comparison of our existing colours against the new incolor range, and I hope you find it helpful.

Facebook Live Stampin' Up catalogue launch - Part 2 (featuring the In Good Taste product suite)

Today I am showing you the second video in my New Catalogue Launch series, in which I made the beautiful card you see above.  The video highlights the "In Good Taste" suite of products, and I think you will agree this is a stunning suite!  In particular this double-sized paper pack, the "In Good Taste Designer Series Paper", is simply amazing... and you can use it for both feminine and masculine cards.

If you are in Australia and wish to purchase any of the products I have used in this video please use the SHOP NOW button to visit my ONLINE STORE

Enjoy the video below and Happy Stamping!!

Our new catalogue is LIVE! Check out my video catalogue tour here!

Usually this is the time of year that I host one or sometimes two in-person Catalogue launches in my home. This time of course this was not possible to the current COVID-19 situation, so I made the decision to move my launches online.  The easiest place for this (and where the majority of my followers are) is Facebook, and so over the past 2 days I have hosted 4 separate launch videos...each one showcasing a different suite or different products. I've really enjoyed doing them, and it was great seeing so many people join me online.

If you missed them... dont worry!  I posted the replays on both my Facebook page and also on YouTube.  If you click on my video link below you will be able to view them on my YouTube channel.  In this video I created the cards you see above, using the Forever Greenery suite of products.  Don't you just love those soft colours???

So even though my business might look a little different at the moment, Im still here!  And not going anywhere! You can still shop with me for your Stampin' Up products... just click the SHOP NOW button to head to my Online Store. AND you might notice it has a brand new look!  They are freshened it up, and simplified it too!
