Registration for my November Online Specialty class is now OPEN!

Here we go with another Online Specialty Class!  Im excited to bring this one to you this month.  As its getting close to Christmas I wanted to create a project that could serve as both a Christmas Gift, or a beautiful keepsake for yourself.

Of course Im not giving away all my secrets today... that would be telling!  But I can tell you that we are creating a beautiful box and a conertina mini album that could double as a fancy Christmas card and gift for someone you love. Or perhaps you might prefer to add photographs to it and make it it into a Memory keeping article. Whatever you choose, I think you will really love this project.  I've posted just a "sneak peek" of the outside of the box above.

There are two options to register:

1. Tutorial Only - $20

No matter where you are in the world you are welcome to purchase the "Tutorial Only" option. I have set up a Paypal button for this. You will get the link to the video tutorial, and can follow the instructions using whatever stamps and products you have in your stash, and at a time to suit you! (Please note I have used products from the Wonder of the Season suite of products) The cost for this option is $20aud. I have set up a Paypal button for this below. Or you can contact me to make payment.
2. Class pack and Tutorial.
If you are in Australia and would like me to send out the materials to make these projects as well as the video tutorial showing how to put it together then all you need to do is place an order of $50 or more with me through my ONLINE STORE and when you check out be sure to use the Host Code BUJQMEQE. This Host Code will identify that you wish to be part of the class so that I can send the materials out. Click the SHOP NOW button to go shopping!

The video link will be sent to you by email within 48 hours of placing your order. This Online Class option will be open to register until Thursday November 26th, 2020, OR until sold out. Class packs will all be in the mail by Friday November 27th.

Please note that the materials sent out will include the die cut or punched shapes needed for this project.... all you need to do is stamp and assemble it together. (You do not have to own this stamp set - you can substitute with any suitable sentiment stamps you have in your collection) So you'll need the following inks and adhesives (or similar):

Suggested Inks:
Shaded Spruce (preferred) or Just Jade
Optional: Real Red

Suggested Adhesvies:
Seal or Seal +
Tombow Multipurpose glue
Tear and Tape
Dimensionals
Mini Glue Dots
Other:
Sponge Dauber or sponge (sponges are preferable)
Wink of Stella (or you could substitute with Champagne Shimmer paint
Scissors (To cut ribbon)

And here's the best bit.... you can add anything you like to your order (as long as you use the host code BUJQMEQE when checking out)... and that includes sale items if you are placing your order on the sale day (Tuesday 24th November)

I hope you will join me for this Online class this month... and that you enjoy this gorgeous project! I think you will love it! Feel free to CONTACT ME if you have any questions at all.

Toile Tidings Glitter Reindeer Christmas card

Today I've combined a couple of different items on this fun Christmas card.  I've popped a list of all the supplies in the Product List below for you, but I think the reason it works is that Black and Red always look so classy together!  And then you just add a little glitter and you are nearly there!

Here's a closeup of my card:

I hope you enjoy it.... dont forget if you wish to purchase any of these supply items click on the images below... or you can also shop the store by clicking the "Shop Now" button.

In class this week - the Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kit!

Hello friends!

This week I am running classes from my home studio.  And we are making LOTS of Christmas cards.  In fact those coming will go home with 10 CARDS!!!  Thats a lot!  And its all thanks to our Paper Pumpkin kit!  And they are super easy and fun to put together! No previous skills required!

The Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kit comes with EVERYTHING you need to create 8 gorgeous cards.  That includes a gorgeous stamp set in every kit... as well as all the supplies you need.  (The only thing you might need if you dont already have one is an acrylic block "D")

In addition to these 8 cards, I have also prepared two additional cards for attendees to create.  These will be made with the same stamps, and some of the same supplies.  Its a great way to give you some ideas for how to use these stamps when you get them home, and I think you'll love the cards. One of these cards is at the top of this page.

I do still have a couple of spots left at both my classes tomorrow.... here are the details:

Time:    11.15am or 7.30pm

Cost:     $40

All participants receive the Joy to the World Paper pumpkin kit with all the supplies to create 8 lovely cards. In addition I am supplying materials to make a further 2 cards with these same stamps.

Im looking forward to seeing you!

Video Tutorial: How to make a cute Acetate Gift Box

Last week Stampin'Up held a wonderful training event.  Its called "Onstage" and in a normal world we would be holding these events for demonstrators twice a year.  But this is 2020, and nothing is normal right??  So this event was held virtually.... and 10,000 demonstrators were part of the event!!!   It was amazing and Stampin'Up did such a great job of providing us with a fabulous program.  There was even a live "concert" by Pat Benatar and her husband.  She's still got it!

One of the things I like to do for my team at these events (whether in person, or online) is to share a small gift with them.  This time i decided to create a cute Acetate box with some goodies inside. But when I went to package them up for mailing I discovered that the boxes were slightly too thick to fit inside the mailing envelopes that I usually use. So I decided to put the pieces into the envelopes flat, and allow my team members to put them together themselves.  And I made this Facebook live video to show them how to put them together. And now I am sharing the tutorial with you too!

Click the video link below to check out the tutorial.  I was inspired to create these boxes after seeing a similar creation by Tammy Wilson in the US.. I loved what she did and thought they would make fabulous little team gifts.  I hope you'll try these boxes for yourself.... they look great and are lots of fun to decorate.

Soft and pretty card with the Quite Curvy Bundle from Stampin'Up

Hello friends!  Today I am posting a soft and pretty card I made with the brand new Quite Curvy bundle.... which was released just yesterday!  These products are really pretty, and they give you some fabulous options for cardmaking all year round.  Here are all the products released yesterday:

  Product List

Curvy Dies
[154319]
$50.00

What I love is that you can purchase the individual items in the suite if you wish OR if you love it all you can purchase the Variety bundle to get it all with one code.

Which makes it super easy to get all the pieces you want! Here's another view of my card:
I used Pool Party cardstock for my main card base, with a Whisper White piece glued inside to write on. The sentiment is stamped in Pool Party ink, and then the bird and flowers are stamped in Sahara Sand ink and coloured lightly with Blends markers.  The leaves are cut from Vellum cardstock with the Curvy Dies, and the beautiful edge of the card is also created with the Curvy dies.  The main white label on the front of the card was created with the Stitched So sweetly dies.  I hope you enjoy my card today, and that you will LOVE the new Curvy Celebrations bundle.
