Yep that's right... we are back in Lockdown again. I live on the East Coast of Australia, approximately 60-90 minutes north of Sydney on the beautiful Central Coast. This past week has seen a new outbreak of COVID19 in Sydney, and as of Saturday night they have locked down the "Greater Sydney" area to get this new outbreak under control. Which unfortunately includes us "Coasties". The area includes not only Sydney itself, but also us to the North, the Blue Mountains to the west, and Wollongong to the South.
Which means we now find ourselves unable to leave our homes, except for 4 reasons.... Work/education (for essential services), Medical attention (including Vaccinations), Grocery/food shopping and outdoor exercise. Unfortunately cardmaking did not make the list! Which means that I am postponing the few events I had planned. This latest Lockdown is in place until July 9th, but if it gets extended beyond that, I will need to postpone my next studio class after that on the 14th. If you are booked into that class... I'll be in touch if that happens!
So how shall we entertain ourselves during this new lockdown? Well for us crafty folk that is not a difficult question to answer! But if you are looking for specific ideas I have a few for you.

Welcome to my latest Online Specialty Class! This month we are making 3 lovely projects and I'll be working with some of our gorgeous new products from our latest Annual catalogue. This month its the Pansy Petals suite of products.
Of course Im not giving away all my secrets today... that would be telling! But I think you will really love these projects. I've posted just a "sneak peek" of the projects above - so you can get an idea of the colours and style of what we are making. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend! Here its been quite relaxing.... a little crafting, getting together with friends, and creating a bit in the kitchen too.
I thought I would post the cards that I did live on my Live video over on my Facebook page. I go live there every Friday night, and its become something I really look forward to, as many of those watching have become regular visitors! Its fun to chat with them whilst I craft, and watch them forming connections with each other too!
The card you see above is my favourite of the two we made this Friday night... it uses the gorgeous "You're a Peach" suite of products, and I love the soft colours!
I've since uploaded a shortened version of this video onto my YouTube channel so that everyone can watch it over there. For those that dont know, I also do a YouTube live video every Sunday night at 7.30pm (Sydney time), and like the Facebook videos, its a lot of fun getting to know everyone and chatting back and forth. Wow... we are at that time of year where there is literally so much happening my head might almost spin around. Well not quite. But wow.... there's a lot to focus on!
