Video Tutorial: Easy Christmas Penguin tag

 

Today is the VERY LAST DAY of our fabulous Sale-a-Bration promotion, and so I've had a little fun creating a quick and easy tag using the Penguin Playmates DSP.  I have really loved the products in this year's SAB offering, and will be very sad to see them go! 

So I made a quick sped-up video to show how easy it is to make tags with punches, and I hope you enjoy it!

I've posted just a "sneak peek" of the projects above - so you can get an idea of the colours and style of what we are making.  There are two "standard" cards, and also a "Fancy Fold" card that is really special.... hence why this is a "Specialty Class".   Here's a sneaky look at my Fancy Fold card:

There are two options to register:

1. Tutorial Only - $20

No matter where you are in the world you are welcome to purchase the "Tutorial Only" option. I have set up a Paypal button for this. You will receive the link to the video tutorial within 48 hours of placing your order, and can follow the instructions using whatever stamps and products you have in your stash, and at a time to suit you! Ideally you will have the Quiet Meadow products in your collection, but if not, you can substitute with other products. The cost for this option is $20aud. I have set up a Paypal button for this below. Or you can contact me to make payment.

2. Class pack and Tutorial.

If you are in Australia and would like me to send out the materials to make these projects as well as the video tutorial showing how to put it together then all you need to do is place an order of $50 or more with me through my ONLINE STORE and when you check out be sure to use the Host Code UANWW42F. This Host Code will identify that you wish to be part of the class so that I can send the materials out. Click the SHOP NOW button to go shopping!

(Please note that you do not need the Blackberry Beauty products to do the class. You can substitute with whatever sentiment stamps you have on hand... Please note that the materials sent out will include the die cut shapes needed for this project.... all you need to do is stamp and assemble it together. (You do not have to own the stamp sets I have used - you can substitute with any suitable stamps you have in your collection. I have used various sentiments, and some small flower stamps.) the Scalloped Kraft Boxes from our Annual catalogue (or be able to make up similar boxes yourself). The cardstock colours for the cards I made include Gray Granite, White, and I also used Soft Succulent glimmer paper.

Video Tutorial: Creating cards with the Strong of Heart stamp set for Stampin'Up's Day of Service

Hello friends!

Last night I went live on my Facebook Page as part of Stampin'Up's "Day of Service"!  This is something they do each each year to make a difference in our communities.  This year the focus is on Heart Health. 

In case you didnt know we have a stamp set in our current Mini Catalogue called "Strong of Heart".  For every set sold Stampin'Up will donate $4.25 aud to Heart Health charities.  

So it made sense to create using this set, and to show some cool cards that can be made with it. 

I had a few sound issues at the start, so I have edited those out, and uploaded the video to YouTube. To view it click the video link below.

I suggest having a couple of inspiration pictures to guide you and be prepared to try a few different versions as it will turn out differently every time.

Welcome to my 15th Anniversay Week! Let's celebrate with 15 mystery envelopes!

If you had told me all those years ago when I attended my very first Stampin'Up workshop, that I'd be be still doing this today, or that it would have actually changed my life in so many positive ways... I would have laughed at you! I never thought a simple hobby could turn into a career, and lead to so many wonderful friends, experiences and places. But here we are! 

My actual anniversary is the 7th September and so to celebrate I am going to be posting some super fun things for the next 7 days! We are going to travel back in time, and we are going to have giveaways and videos celebrating lots of things from the past 15 years. And Im starting the week with 15 envelopes! Most of the activity will happen over on my Facebook page, or my VIP page. The VIP page is for customers and team members and thats where most of my giveaways take place. 

What are the 15 mystery envelopes you ask? Well I have gathered up 15 product prizes and have assigned each one to an envelope. The smallest prize is a pack of cardstock (valued at $15.75RRP) and the highest value are stamp sets (valued at up to around $38RRP). The envelopes will be numbered from 1 to 15. The first 15 people to place orders with me of $100 or higher (excluding postage) will each get to choose one envelope (limit of 1 envelope per person).
