Video Tutorial: How to Create a Pacific North-West scene with your stamps

Hello friends!

Yes, its yet another scene building card from me today.... but this one I had to do for sentimental reasons.  The card was inspired by some wonderful times I spent in the Pacific North-West region - which for those that don't know is the top left hand corner of the US and lower left hand corner of Canada. Think Washington I've been to this region on 3 different occasions, and every time I have been completely blown away by how beautiful it is.

Im pretty happy with the result.... do you think I achieved my aim? Does it look Pacific Northwest to you??

If you would like to see how I made it - and maybe make one for yourself - then watch the tutorial in the video below:

Enjoy!

Video Tutorial: Creating a Hawaiian Scene with the Waves of Inspiration stamp set

Hello friends!

Tonight on my Sunday Night live video session I made two new cards... including the one you see above. I LOVE how this card turned out!  Such a fun card to create... and it so reminded me of my time in Hawaii with Stampin'Up a few years ago.  We drove around the Island of Oahu, and up to the "North Shore" where we watched surfers, said hello to turtles and ate shave Ice to stay cool. Such good memories... and with this card they all came floating back!

If you would like to see me create the card (and maybe have a go at creating it yourself!) then I have included the video link below.

Enjoy!

Video Tutorial - Scene Building with the Grassy Grove stamp set

Hello friends!

Today I have been working on these lovely cards - going back to one of my favourite techniques!  I never know quite what to call it... so I have gone with "Scene-building" but its also a watercolour technique.  What do you think? Should I have a different name for this technique?

I made a video to show exactly how to recreate these cards, and you will find this video link below. If you have questions or comments, I'd love to hear them!

Have a great day!

The Flowering Tulips bundle is featured in our February Online Class - Registrations OPEN NOW

Here we go with our February Online Class!  This time I am excited to feature the gorgeous Flowering Tulips bundle and I really think you will love these projects!

As always, if you are getting the supply packs you do NOT need to have these exact products in your collection - you are welcome to substitute similar items as necessary.

This class features 3 cards... two are "standard" (but beautiful!) cards.  The 3rd card is what I like to call a specialty card - in this case it is a Fancy-Fold (AKA Fun fold) card that I know you will enjoy. You can see a sneak peek in the above photograph, however, please note that colours may differ between packs.

There are 2 options to register:

1. Tutorial Only - $20

No matter where you live in the world you are welcome to purchase the "Tutorial Only" option. I have set up a PayPal button below to allow for easy payment. You will receive an email from me with the link to the video tutorial within 48 hours of placing your order. You can then follow the instructions using whatever supplies you have available to you.  The cost for this option is $20aud.  Click the PayPal button to register or contact me directly to make other payment arrangements.

2. Class Pack and Tutorial

If you are in Australia and would like me to mail out the materials to make these projects as well as the video tutorial showing how to put it all together, then all you need to do is place an order of $50 or more with me through my Online Store during the registration period.  When you check out be sure to use the host code for this class which is  BFXZBNM2 . This Host Code will identify that you wish to be a part of the class so that I can send the materials out to you.  Click the SHOP NOW button to go shopping.

Please note that you do NOT need to have the Flowering Tulips items in order to take up this option. You can substitue with whatever sentiment stamps you have on hand.  HOWEVER, if you do wish to purchase any of these items I believe you will love them! And right now its Sale-a-Bration as well which means you also receive a gift-with-purchase on all orders over $90aud.

The video link will be sent to you by email within 48 hours of placing your order. This Online Class option will open to register until Friday 18th February, 2022. unless sold out prior. Last class packs will be in the mail by Tuesday 21st February, if not earlier.

Please note that the materials sent out will include the die cut shapes needed for this project.... all you need to do is stamp and assemble it together. (You do not have to own the stamp sets I have used - you can substitute with any suitable stamps you have in your collection. I have used various sentiments. ) Here is my Recommended list of items to help you put the projects together:

Soft Succulent

Suggested Adhesvies:

Video Tutorial: How to use the Tulips Dies

So I only just received these dies in my latest order.... and I am loving them!  I've already made several very cool cards with them... I just love the 3D look!

In my most recent Facebook Live I made the card on the left (above) and I showed not only how the dies go together, but how great it looks if you give the dies a bit of extra love in the form of a little sponging around the base of the tulips.  I love how it turned out! Here I used Calypso Coral ink sponged on to Mango Melody cardstock tulips.

If you would like to see how I made them live last Sunday night, then click the video link below.  If you would like to skip over the "chit chat" at the beginning of the video, then skip to around the 9:20 mark.

Enjoy!
