Introducing Lemon Lime Twist!

Here's one of our new colours from the 2017-2019 Incolor range.... its called Lemon Lime Twist, and I think its going to be really popular.  Why?  Because its a happy colour that will go well in lots of different combinations, and we don't have any other colours like it!  Where some of the other new colours may have similarities to other colours in our ranges, Lemon Lime Twist stands alone!

Here I've paired it with gold foil and the upcoming Eastern Palace Suite to create this simple, fun and eye-catching card.  The Eastern Palace Suite will be available from Monday 1st May to order and you can take advantage of 2 great bundles... which will only be bundles for the month of May.  Here they are:

Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers
Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin’ Pad (New In Color!)
Tranquil Tide Classic Stampin’ Pad (New In Color!)

Tranquil Tide Classic Stampin’ Pad (New In Color!)
Fresh Fig Classic Stampin’ Pad (New In Color!)
Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies
Very Vanilla C6 EnvelopesFREE!
Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock (New!)FREE!
Even though these are both great bundles, there's one simple reason why you are going to want the Premier bundle..... it includes the Eastern Medallion framelits, which in my opinion are the BEST PART OF THE SET!  Sorry about the capital letters, but I really wanted to get that point across!  The framelits are amazing, and give you so many options.

You will also be able to purchase the items separately once the new catalogue goes live on the 1st June.

Im going to be putting together a video to show them off to you, so stay tuned for that!  And I'm  planning some of my classes around this set too.... you are going to love them!

Here's a close up to show off these gorgeous elements in this card:

Carousel Birthday for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch

This week Im playing along with the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge (Mojo494) and decided this was a perfect chance to play with some retiring product too.  Its not secret that I have loved the Carousel Birthday stamp sets and matching DSP.... but sadly this is one of our retiring sets in the Occasions catalogue.  If you don't have it yet, then I would suggest that you grab it while you can! (Use the SHOP NOW button to visit the Online Store and order yours)

Here's the sketch I used to create this card:

If you love a bargain there are several ways to grab one right now!  There are some great discounts on some of our retiring products (items marked down are shown in red), plus the Clearance Rack has just been updated with lots of new stuff (discounts up to 60%).   PLUS, I am holding my annual retirement day and you can come over to my Home studio and have the app;ortunity to go through my retiring products (some new, some used) which will all be marked down to move them!  Afternoon tea provided plus sneak peeks at new items!

Please note, on the day I cannot accept payment for my newly retiring products until AFTER they retire.  But I can put them aside for you with your name on them until the 1st June.  But there will also be LOTS of previously retired product which you are welcome to go through...... and these will be even further marked down than previously... I want them gone!

The retirement open house will be held on the 6th May at 1pm, in my home studio on the Central Coast.  If you cant make that day, you can come and view the items by appointment after the 6th.  First in, best dressed :-)

Here's a close up of today's card for you....

Want simple and elegant cards? The Eastern Palace Suite is for you!

This week I sent out my thank you cards to my customers who ordered online with me last month. (To see how to be part of this click HERE. )  Because there was quite a lot this time, I needed them to be simple..... so I used the upcoming Eastern Palace Suite to create these simple but elegant cards.  I used the Eastern Medallions framelits to cut basic diecut shape, and then used a piece of gold foil behind the card to show through.  I then popped one of the Eastern Palace stickers in the centre, and gold embossed the Thank you from the matching stamp set (and cut it out with the 1" circle punch).  I popped that onto a dimensional.... and VOILA!  A card is made.

SO simple!

Don't they look great together??!

The Eastern Palace suite is coming your way on the 1st May 2017!  You'll be able to order it online, or through your demonstrator. If you live in Australia, and you don't have a demonstrator, please contact me... or use the "Shop Now" button.  You'll be able to order the items individually, but there will also be two special bundles to save you some money.... a "Starter Bundle", and a "Premier Bundle" with the lot!  Personally my favourite part of the suite is the framelits... I think they are amazing and give so many options!

If you are already a StampinUp Demonstrator you can order these now!

Cant wait to show you more!

Simple Thank you's with the Eastern Palace Suite

I love it when StampinUp does a special release of product and the Eastern Palace Suite is one such release.  It's scheduled for release in the 2017 Annual Catalogue, but in May 2017 (thats next month!) SU have decided to release this lovely suite of products one month early.... and offer it as a special promotion.

One of the perks of being a demonstrator is the opportunity to order many of our products before they are released to customers, and thats why I've been able to to show you samples and ideas ahead of time.  And I want to make sure you get the chance to check out the Eastern Palace suite so that when it goes live on May 1st you'll be ready!  There is going to be 2 ways to purchase these products... as a starter bundle or the premier bundle (the one with the lot!).  Or you'll be able to buy the separate items on their own too. But I love the bundle ideas because they are a saving for you, and there is also some free product included with them.  The starter bundle will includ Very Vanilla notecards and envelopes as a free item (which is new in this catalogue), and the premier bundle will include Vanilla C6 envelopes and a pack of Very Vanilla thick cardstock (which is also a new item!).

Today I've been working on thank you cards for my online orders, and these are just some of the ones I've created using the frames, stamps and DSP.  I am continually surprised at all the different ways you can use the shapes in the framelits, and although these cards are quite simple to create, the intricacy of the dies themselves makes them look much more detailed and elaborate.

Here's a closeup for you....

Happy Easter with the Basket Bunch stamp set!

Its Easter Saturday so I thought I'd pop in quickly to say Happy Easter, and blessings to you all!  Im posting a card today that i made a little while back.  I used the "Basket Bunch" stamp set and matching framelits for this one, and I just love that bunny!  But you need to know that this set is on the Retiring list, which means that its only available until stock runs out.  And things have been selling very fast on this year's list!

You can purchase just the stamp set OR there is also a bundle that includes the framelits. And lets be honest, who really wants to cut out all those cute shapes by hand?

(Sadly the egg cartons in the photo have already sold out and are no longer available.)

What I really love about this set is that it is not limited to Easter creations... the bunnies and chickens and other shapes work great all year round for baby cards and the like.

If you would like to purchase this set or any other item, and you are in Australia, then please visit my Online Store!  Click HERE to go straight there.   Items are shipped straight to your door, anywhere in Australia.

Enjoy today's little card, and I wish you and your family a very Happy Easter, wherever you might be.

Something old, something new... the Eastern Palace Suite as a bag topper

Today I am mixing both retiring product AND something new that is coming your way.  I've decorated our Petite Cafe gift bags (retiring) with elements from the new Eastern Palace suite which is coming your way in May.

This suite is beautiful!  And whilst I am enjoying the different elements in the suite, I have to tell you that my favourite thing of all is the gorgeous framelits... they are called the Eastern Medallions thinlits, and there are sooooo many things you can do with them!  I'll be showing off lots of these ideas over the coming months.  And there will be a great promotion for them in May 2017, so stay tuned for that!

In the meantime if you are a fan of the Petite Cafe bags (like I am) then I'd be heading over to the ONLINE STORE and grabbing those and many other items whilst you can!  Even though there is lots left on the retiring list I have to say I was quite shocked at how many items sold out on the very fist day (yesterday)!  When you are in the store, if an item is no longer available it says in big red letters that it has been discontinued, so its quite clear.  All the retiring items are listed together in one place... and there is a section for stamps, for bundles and for everything else. There are discounts on many of the items... up to 50% in some cases!  Its well worth a look!

Click HERE to visit the store.  And don't forget to use the hostess code U7KN4CKX if your order is between $50 and $250 as this qualifies you for a little thank you from me.  (Orders over $250 don't need a code as they automatically get hostess rewards!)

The Black Magic Technique for our technique classes this week!

Here's an oldie but a goodie... the Black Magic Technique!

Today I am using the Lift me Up set for my card, and you can see the lovely detail in this stamp set against the black cardstock background.  I've included a Product list below for you should you wish to purchase these supplies. In addition to the StampinUp supplies, you'll also need a white gel pen.  I recommend the Uniball white gel pen with a BROAD tip.

If you would like to come along to class this week to see how this technique is done I have both an evening and a daytime class.  The daytime class is almost full, but I do still have several spots for the evening class. Here are the details:

Dates:
Tuesday 11th April @ 7.30pm
or
Wednesday 12th April  @ 11.15am
Cost: $25
All materials and refreshments provided

Here is a close up for you...

Product List

Here is your 2017 Retiring List from Stampin'Up Australia!

It's Up!  The 2017 Retiring Product list is now live, and its always hard to say goodbye!

CLICK HERE to view the list!

But saying goodbye is a lot easier when make a little time to do it, and make sure you have everything you need before its gone.  Plus take advantage of any discounts!  As always, some items will sell out quickly, but my suggestion is to grab things whilst you can.  Every year I am contacted by people who wanted particular items after they sold out!  Every. Single. Year.  Don't let that be you.

A few of my long time favourites are saying goodbye.... like "Gorgeous Grunge", and "Moroccan Nights".  Please note that some of the bundles are being discontinued, but not necessarily the stamp sets or accessories.... it might mean that you will no longer be able to get them as a bundle, but still be able to buy the individual items. But check the list carefully in case the individual items are going as well.

In particular you'll need to be quick for the 2015-2017 Incolor items (especially the refills and the cardstock) as these traditionally sell out super fast! Don't muck about on these!  Some years the inks refills have been gone within hours.

Even though there are some items we will miss on the list, don't be too sad.  At last weekend's StampinUp Onstage Training day we got a sneaky peek at the new catalogue and I can tell you its fantastic!  So there will be lots of beautiful things to stamp your blues away with!  To purchase, you can CONTACT ME or its even quicker to visit my ONLINE STORE and place your order there.

Stay tuned as I start to show you some of the new stuff over the coming weeks.... I know you are going to love them!  But don't forget to view the Retiring List too so that you don't miss out on the ones you love.  You will be able to see when items are no longer available.

Video Tutorial: Tealight Candle Boxes!

Just a quick post today as I am celebrating and learning with my team and lots of other Demonstrators at the StampinUp Onstage training event in Sydney this weekend.  These little boxes are the gifts I am giving to my awesome team of demonstrators who are attending the event... I hope they like them!

But I figured you would like them too... so I've created a Youtube video tutorial to show you how easy they are to make.  Here it is....

And of course check out my Facebook business page for lots of photos of our fun in the coming days!    There is going to be LOTS to show you!

Mass Production: Copper Butterflies and cute boxes!

This weekend is our Onstage training event.  StampinUp put on these awesome events for us twice a year (April and November) and I cant even begin to tell you how much I look forward to them!  Its a chance to not only see what's new (Hello New Catalogue!) but also to get inspired and spend time with old friends and new demonstrator friends.  This time our venue is Sydney (so only an half and a half away), but StampinUp organize these events globally... so on the same day you have demonstrators meeting together all over the world... including the "Main Event" which this time is in Amsterdam.  We get to "live cross" to them during the day tomorrow.... and its super fun to see what other demonstrator friends are up to across the sea.

For me its also a chance to catch up with a large number of my team.... this time I have made 40 team gifts (hopefully its enough!) and today and tomorrow I am showing you what i've been up to.  I run a team Facebook group for my group and there has been lots of Onstage discussion over the past couple of weeks. For some its their first time and they are super excited!  For others who are veterans of these events... they are possibly even more excited because they know what to expect. The venue is new this time..... we are getting together at Luna Park!  Here's a photo of the function room where we will be:

Now thats not a bad view is it???

In preparation for the event I have made team gifts again (as I usually do) and will be showing them off in a Video Tutorial that will be up here tomorrow (so make sure you check back tomorrow to see it!).  They are cute tea light candle boxes and I really hope the girls love them!  My husband was super awesome last night and set the Big Shot up in front of the telly and cranked out 40 of these cute copper butterflies that I am decorating the boxes with (see above photo)... isn't he amazing?  Even though he's not able to attend with me this time, he still supports my business and I am so grateful!

Here are the boxes getting ready to be folded and decorated.....

It is a labour of love, thats for sure!  But I love making them and really love giving them to my team! Its awesome to have a chance to say thank you to them for being part of my group, and hopefully it will help to make their day just a little more special.

Ever thought about becoming a demonstrator yourself?  Its been an amazing journey for me.... and we need all kinds of demonstrators.. from those who do it more as a hobby, right through to those who are running a business, like myself.  If being part of a supportive team and earning income doing what you love sounds like you... please contact me by clicking HERE.  Or if you wish you can also click the "Join my Team" tab above to read more information and even just sign up there if you wish! Any questions at all, just ask!

See you back here tomorrow for my Video Tutorial!  Its going to be a great weekend!

Something exciting is coming! Who wants a sneak peek at the Eastern Palace Suite from StampinUp!???

Today my postman delivered a parcel to my doorstep bright and early, and in that particular box was a bunch of NEW STUFF!  I have to tell you, there is nothing like getting exciting new products delivered to your door!  I had an hour or so to spare so of course the very first thing I did was sit down to have a play.  As we are officially in the demonstrator "pre-order" period (when Demonstrators are allowed to purchase new products before they are released) I am also allowed to show off what I am making with the new products.  Even though customers cant order them until May 2017 (next month) its fun to show you what you will be able to make with these gorgeous new items when they are released!

Introducing the Eastern Palace Suite!  StampinUp will be releasing these as special bundles for next month... there will be two bundles you can take advantage of.... a "starter" bundle (with the basics) and a "premier" bundle (with the lot!).  Alternatively, you'll be able to purchase the individual items too... I'll have more details for you when it gets closer to May.  But I really need to introduce you to my FAVOURITE part of this suite.. and thats the Eastern Medallions Thinlit dies.  OMG... these are just beautiful!  I love that there are co-ordinating shapes to match the stamp set, but most of all I love that this is a range of Mendala-like dies, some of which do partial cuts.   By that I mean, that they don't cut all the way through your cardstock so that you can pop up parts of the image.  You can see this in the picture below:

See how just the outside of the petals has cut through, but it's still attached at the base of the petals.  This allowed me to flip the ends of the petals up so that they sit out from the card... I think its really effective!  I've also used the new Gold Vinyl stickers along the bottom edge of the card.  I added a little piece of gold foil behind the flower motif to make it stand out.  The sentiment is from the co-ordinating "Eastern Beauty" stamp set... isn't the font lovely??

One other thing on this card is new.... I've featured one of the BRAND NEW IN COLOURS from the 2017-2019 In color range!  Introducing Fresh Fig!

I hope you've enjoyed this sneak peek today!  I will be featuring these products at my May classes, both in person and Online.  So if you would like to be part of that, stay tuned for Class dates and details.  :-)  The new StampinUp Annual catalogue will be out on June 1st, so if you are one of my Online customers OR a stamp club member you will receive one automatically from me.

So much excitement is coming your way!  I cant wait to share it all with you!
