Video Tutorial: Rainbow of Happiness Fun Fold card

Today I have a really cool card to show you... and the best bit is that its super easy to make!  I used the Rainbows of Happiness bundle (with a little help from a couple of extra products) and added some sparkle to make it pop!

Here we go with our first Online Class of the year!

 

And this time I am featuring the lovely Heart & Home suite of products.   This is such a beautiful suite, and many of the suite components will make an appearance in the class. I hope you love it!

Please note that you do NOT need to have the Heart & Home products in order to take up this option. You can substitute with whatever sentiment stamps you have on hand... Video Tutorial: How to make a Slimline Flap Card

 

Hello friends!  In today's video I am showing how to make a Slimline card, and this easy design includes a flap which makes it a little different. For this I have used the Slim Sayings bundle, and I've included a link to these products below should you wish to purchase them. 

Although I have used Fresh Freesia and white for my colours today, you could of course make this style of card in any colours that you choose.  The video shows the project quite simply.  If you have any questions, dont hesitate to reach out and ask!

Video Tutorial: Painting with White Ink

 

Hello friends.  This week I played with this beautiful stamp set called "Calming Camellia".  Its one of our Sale-A-Bration options available at the moment as a Host Gift.  In Australia, the qualifying amount to obtain the set is $500.  

As soon as I saw this set I knew it would be perfect for painting with White Ink. As many of your would know, I have a love affair with White Craft ink (pigment ink) and it is useful for SOOOO many different techniques. Many of these I have previously done on my YouTube Channel.  For example the "White washing" technique is one of my most popular videos, and you can watch that one HERE. 

I also made up some samples in other colours to show you how this looks in different colour ways:

From left to right we have:

• Night of Navy ink on Crumb Cake cardstock
• Night of Navy ink on Misty Moonlight Cardstock
• Evening Evergreen ink on Soft Succulent cardstock
• Melon Mambo ink on Flirty Flamingo cardstock
• Gorgeous Grape ink on Highland Heather cardstock

This truly is a very simple card. I stamped the image with Night of Navy ink, and then "painted" my flowers with White ink applied with a blender pen. I did this card (by request) on my Live video last night if you would like to see me make it.  BUT I had some sound issues at the start of the video, so to skip over that bit go to the 5:30min mark and you will find it easier to listen to!

Video Tutorial: Using the Scene-Building technique with the Paradise Palms bundle

 

I wanted to show you what we created in my most recent Live video last night.  I used two brand new sets - firstly we played with the Paradise Palms stamp set and created the card you see above.  I used the scene building technique for that... Im not really sure it has a name, but thats what I call it. Its where you use scenery stamps with water-based inks on Watercolour paper, and then add water with a Water Painter. Video Tutorial: Easy Diorama card with a Marbled Sunset background

Hello friends!  Today I made this simple but striking Diorama card and I really love how it turned out!  Its actually simpler than other Diorama cards I have made because I only used two main layers, instead of 3.  The central piece is created with the fabulous Grove Dies, and the sunset background is created with the Simply Marbleous DSP (a gift with purchase for a qualifying order, until February 28th).  I add sponging with our Blending Brushes to get this sunset look.
