Let it Snow DSP meets Perfectly Plaid trees

Today's card was an easy one to create... I really let this gorgeous "Let it Snow" specialty DSP do the talking.  Those glittery Christmas trees!  So I matched it up with one of the trees in the Perfectly Plaid stamp set, cut it out with the coordinating Pine Tree punch, and made sure to add some glitter to that too!  For this I used the new Ice Stampin' Glitter and the Shimmery Crystal Effects... both available in our latest Holiday catalogue, which is out now.

Below I've included all the supplies you'll need to make this card for yourself.  If you are in Australia all of these items are available through my Online Store.

Have a fabulous day and enjoy the card!

Quick Tip Video: How to use the Jingle Bells from Stampin' Up!

Today's video is a quick and simple tip showing one way to use the Jingle Bell embellishments found in our latest Holiday Catalogue (released September 2019).  These are super cute (plus they make a cute "jingly" sound) so you really do want to use them on your projects... but how???

On this page you can see a couple of examples.... I made the cute mini chalkboards for my launch earlier this month so that each attendees got one for themselves.  Well I didn't make the chalkboard but I purchased them and decorated them.  I thought they were sooooo cute!  And the card below shows a jingle Bell used below the pine trees, and I think it works really well.

So I did a quick video to show how I like to use them... and I hope you find it useful!  Click the video link below:

A Very Tartan Christmas with the Perfectly Plaid bundle

Hello everyone! Last night I had this idea for this card rolling around in my head and I just had to get it created before I went to bed (anyone else relate??).  So this is the result. I used our new Delicata Gold ink all over the embossed background which gives the whole thing a shimmery effect - although that is quite hard to see in the photos. But its super pretty in real life!!

The stamp set is called Perfectly Plaid.... and best of all the bundle includes a matching punch!  SO so easy to use and to make lots of quick Christmas designs. If you are interested in purchasing any of these products, I have included a product list below. (You can click on any item to be taken to the store to purchase that item. Or if you would like to just look around the store, click HERE)

Video Tutorial: So Many Stars Shiny Christmas card

Today's card came about because I was preparing for a workshop last weekend, and as I usually do, I asked the hostess whether she had a colour preference.  She wanted Christmas, but preferred Black, and maybe red, and maybe grey.  As many of you would know, this was a little outside my comfort zone.... but I do love a good challenge!  So this is the card I came up with, and thankfully she loved it!  Phew!

In fact everyone at the workshop loved it, and it proved easy to make for all ages.  So I thought it would make a great video.... if you enjoy it please let me know!

Here is the video...

Video Tutorial: Black and Copper Embossed Magnolia card

Today's video tutorial features the gorgeous Magnolia 3d embossing folder.... and yes, you may have seen me use that one before (check it out HERE).  I think that the new 3d embossing folders from our latest Annual Catalogue are all awesome... they leave a really lovely deeply embossed image.  But there is a bit of a trick as the thickness of these new folders has changed (due to a new manufacturer) and so we are also popping them through with the new 3d Embossing folder plate:

(Item no is 149658, and the cost in Australia is $17.50 aud)  I've included the instructions for the "sandwich" to use in the video.  Basically its just your base platform, folder with paper inside, and the blue plate on top. So NO clear cutting plates.  Never "force" items through your die cutting machine! If you are using the correct sandwich, it will go through comfortably.

I am also using our gorgeous new Celestial Copper ink.... this will be available from tomorrow, September 4th.  The Delicata metallic inks are simply beautiful.... they come in Gold, Silver and the copper, and I am loving them already!!!

So on to the video.... I think you are going to LOVE this creation today! I've also included a product list below so that you can easily find the supplies to make this card... and if you are in Australia you can also purchase by clicking on what you want.

Enjoy the video:
