Happy Mother's Day

Last week I held a Mother's Day Class and I wanted to show you what we made. I designed these around a similar one that I saw on a video online somewhere... sorry I cant remember where that was. But I was really happy with the results and I gave one of these sets to my own Mum and she really liked it, so that's all that matters!

I used the Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing folder on the box - ran it through with my Big Shot. And then on the cards I used the Manhattan Flower Embossing folder and chalked over the top of the image so that the colour picked up on the ridges. The cards fit neatly inside the box - I made 3 of them for the set. Doesn't that look awesome? I was really happy with it. Here's a pic of the box itself:

If you are in my Big Shot club this is one of the project tutorials that I will offer along the way.. I still have a couple of places left in the club and so if that's something you have been thinking about you might need to get to it very soon as we start at the end of this month. For more details read my post here or contact me at lindastamps@bigpond.com for more info. Its a fabulous way to get your own Big Shot without outlaying all the funds at one time.
