I am sure you all know now that the 2010 Retired List is out and items are disappearing fast - espcially the A4 cardstock is running out the door. Already we have sold out completely of the following items, and they are no longer available:

When you look at the list you will notice that some items are discounted and some are not. I am guessing that this has to do with Stock levels. Every year I have people ask me "Why don't SU discount everything on the discontinuing list??" And the answer is simple: they don't need to! If you were a company that knew that your items were going to sell very well anyway... why would you discount them? It just doesn't make any sense from a business perspective. Having said all that, some items are discounted this year by either 25% or 50%!!! So that's a pretty good deal don't you think?
Some of the items that are marked down include some of the patterned papers, individual markers in the retiring colours, cartridges for the wheels, and Double stitched ribbons. There are lots more, so check out the list. It is literally first in, best dressed.
One of the items on the list that is marked down is the I Wish Simply Scrappin Kit. The cards on this post are both made with some of the papers from that particular kit. We made these cards at our Christmas SAS yesterday and everybody loved the colours. Right now, until sold out, you can nab yourself this great Christmas set for only $27.71. Every single year I have customers looking for retired product after the final availability date - and every year I have to disappoint them. Let's not have that happen this year!
