Artfully Asian Card

Images Copyright 1990-2007 Stampin’ Up!

Hello Guys,

Just wanted to show you what some of the stuff I've been making... I'll have quite a few items to show you over the next few weeks. I recently got myself this set after swapping with another Demonstrator (one of the perks... when I find Im not using a set as much anymore I can put it up for trade on the Demonstrator Forum that Im a member of. Its usually not too hard to find someone willing to trade!). I have really been enjoying this set. It's called Artfully Asian, and here I've used it with the Rough Texture Wheel. The background is created by stamping the French Script background stamp and then scrunching the cardstock up with your hands. Once you have squished it good and proper, flatten it out again. Now take your classic ink pad and simply rub it gently over the cardstock piece. The ink will pick up all the higher points on your scrunched piece of cardstock... it's really easy to do, and looks great.
Here's the SU products that I used for this card:
Artfully Asian Set
French Script Background stamp
Rough Texture Jumbo Wheel
Mellow Moss Cardstock
Chocoate Chip Cardstock
Close to Cocoa Cardstock
Sahara Sand Cardstock
Ruby Red Cardstock
Mellow Moss ink
Chocolate Chip Ink
Close to Cocoa Ink
Ribbon Originals Rustic Retreat
Dimensionals

If you would like me to come over and show you some cool techniques and ideas for cards or other papery things, please let me know at higgiz@bigpond.com or call me on 0412 375 552.

And have fun creating.
