Welcome to the July Online Class - let's make Christmas cards! Registrations open now.

Yes, I said CHRISTMAS CARDS!

One sure way to make sure you have plenty of Christmas cards to send in December is to START EARLY!  My theory is that if I make just several Christmas cards each month from July onwards I will be more prepared come Christmas time.

So this month saw the release of our brand new Mini Catalogue (AKA Holiday catalogue) and all the sparkly glimmery goodness that is inside.  I've chosen one of my favourite suites to start with - the Boughs of Holly suite - and all the cards in this month's class use these products.  The good news is that you don't have to have these products to create the cards - you can substitute with other products and images you might already have. Having said that, if you DO own these products, your cards will turn out more like mine of course.

Here are all the details on how to get the class:

Option 1:  Tutorial Only - $20

No matter where in the world you live, you can purchase just the tutorial component of the class.  The tutorial will step you through each card, and all the measurements are included too (in both imperial and metric), so that you can recreate these projects at home.  You can do the tutorial at any time that suits you as it is all pre-recorded content. The "Purchase Now" button below will direct you to pay via PayPal - if you are unable to pay via Paypal please contact me directly.

Please note that your tutorial link will be emailed to you within 48 hours of placing your order for the class.

Option 2: Tutorial plus Supply Pack
If you are in Australia you have the option to receive the class supplies as well by placing an order with me of $50 or more.  The supply packs contain everything to make up these projects even if you don't own these specific products.  When ordering please use the host code B3JMSJDN as this will identify to me that you wish to do the class.  (Please note that if your order is over $250 do not use a code as instead you will receive host benefits on your order. In that case, message me to let me know you would like the class)

Whats in the Supply Pack?  All the pre-cut cardstock, DSP, die cuts and embellishments ready to assemble. All you need to do is to add your own sentiments or other images and adhere it together, following the instructions in the tutorial. I have created a Recommended list of supplies below.

Option 3: INKsomniacs team members only
If you are a member of my INKsomniacs team of demonstrators you are welcome to purchase the Tutorial only option for $20, but you will still receive the supply pack as well.

PLEASE NOTE: This class will be available until Monday July 18th.  I will have all the supply packs in the mail by Thursday 21st July at the latest.

Recommended items

For this class I am working with the Leaves of Holly stamp set, which is on page 25 of the new Mini catalogue.  If you dont have the set you are welcome to use any similar sized Chrismtas sentiments you might already have.

I also used the following inks:

Evening Evergreen (dark green)

Sahara Sand (for sponging)

Pool Party or Soft Sea Foam (for blending)

Additional items:

Blends Markers - Cherry Cobbler (dark red) and Soft Succulent (Mid green)

Sponge Dauber

Blending Brushes

In addition you will need scissors and adhesive. I have used Tombow multipurpose, dimensionals and Seal adhesive.  Please dont be put off by the long list of items in the images below. Some of these are suggestions, but you can make do without them.  For example I have used the Stylish Shapes dies to cut the circles and squares on the cards, and these will be included in the supply packs. You can use other punches or dies as required.

To summarise, here's what you get in this class:

  • Video Tutorial with step-by-step instructions
  • PDF with measurements for all the projects
For those that also receive the supply packs, all materials are included to make up the cards as shown above (Except ink, tools and adhesive)
