Our Next CraftAlong event is coming up! And a sneak peek!

Hello friends! Yep its that time again... we are coming up to another CraftAlong event. What is CraftAlong? It is a live video that anyone can watch and create a great project with me!  I've been doing this for a couple of years and people tell me that they love them!

The next CraftAlong is coming up next Wednesday, 28th February at 2pm Sydney time.  The video is free to watch. This month we are creating Flap cards... there will be the main project that we make together, and then I'll also show you several other projects made with the same theme.  To watch the main, click the following video link at the appropriate time:

If you wish to create along with me, I am listing out the main products that I will be using. Of course you are welcome to substitute with whatever products you have in your stash! But should you wish to purchase any of these items I have made a "clickable" list below... just click the item you want and you will be taken to my Online Store to purchase it. (Note that the Online store links only work if you are in Australia, but if you are elsewhere contact your demonstrator to purchase the items)

Product List

If you have other circle dies or punches they can be used instead of the circles that I have used.

To Prepare:

Cut Basic White Thick cardstock card base, ie 1 sheet of cardstock cut in half.  Fold in half again to create card base

Cut 2 pieces of Daffodil Delight cardstock to measure 5cm x 14.3cm
Cut 2 pieces of Bee Mine dsp to measure 4.5cm x 13.8cm (Note you may wish to wait until the video so you know which piece to cut)

Cut piece of Sweet Sorbet Cardstock to measure 7cm x 4.5cm
Cut co-ordinating piece of DSP to measure 6.5cm x 4cm (Once again if you wait for the video you will know which pieces look best)

You will also need a scrap of Sweet Sorbet to cut a circle, and a scrap of dsp to cut a smaller circle. And a scrap of white to cut a small circle.
Additionally you will need a scrap of paper to punch the bee.  If you are stamping your bee with the matching stamp set you can use white. If you just have the punch then punch from a piece of Daffodil Delight. And the wings from a piece of Petal Pink glimmer paper.  We will talk about different options to make the bee work in the video.

If you do not have the bee punch at all, you may prefer to stamp your sentiment on the smaller circle and have this on the outside.

Thats it!  Everything else we will cover in the video.

Would you like a sneak peek?

At first I had difficulty getting a good photo:

Ah thats better...

See you all on Wednesday!

Hello Linda!

For sure I'll try to make it to craft along with you, although I don't have anything from the Bee Mine Suite - there's no accounting for tastes, right?
What fun that your cat helped take photos!
