Falling in Love DSP for soft romantic cards

I have a "thing" for burlap and lace. Actually we call burlap "hessian" here in Australia.  I remember exactly when I fell in love with this combination. It was on the 2013 Stampin'Up! incentive trip to Sale Lake City.  That year we had an above average number of demonstrators achieve the trip.  So many of us were so excited to visit Stampin'Up's head office in Utah as well as experience the wonder of the US convention.  We were treated to a over a week of amazing hospitality.  The theme of our pillow gifts was burlap... each gift was wrapped in hessian, or hessian bags, or hessian ribbon.

On the very last night, they treated us to an amazing dinner that was held on a real working ranch.  Our tables were set up in a newer part of the stables and everything was so beautifully decorated.... mainly with burlap and lace.  Here are a few photos....

Such an amazing experience... but my point is, this is where my love affair with burlap (hessian) and lace began!

So today I created a card with some lovely soft romantic elements.. including burlap and lace trim.  The beautiful background paper is from the "Falling in Love" DSP pack, and I've added some stamping on the taupe panel with the "Delicate Details" Sale-A-Bration set (Im going to really miss that one!), and then my burlap and lace pieces. I tied a little knot on one side of the lace with some linen thread. The diecut word and butterfly are cut from Copper Foil.  I've included a product list below if you would like to purchase any of these items for yourself.  Or you can visit my Online Store by clicking HERE.

Here is a close up to better show off the detail on the card...

Enjoy!
