Daisy Delight and the Serene Scenery DSP.... mixing old and new products!
Today I am sharing a simple little card I made last night... Im thinking it would make a lovely Mother's Day card for my Mum. My mother has been very unwell for a number of years, but her condition has gotten much worse over the past 6 months, and she isn't doing well. So we are making the trek to Tamworth in the north of the state to visit her and my Dad, and Im looking forward to seeing them. Mum isn't able to walk anymore, and Dad has obtained a wheelchair for her because they do love to go out for coffee and a muffin :-)
Right now its Saturday morning so we are packing up the kids and getting ourselves organised to go. Mother's Day is tomorrow. And I had just a few minutes to pop up this blog post before we leave.
I wanted to see the current Serene Scenery paper matched up with the "Daisy Delight" stamp set and punch.... and it works! Really happy I got the Daisy Delight set now... I wasn't sure at first, but I love it! But the Serene Scenery DSP stack is retiring..... noooooo! How beautiful is it?? One side of the paper has photographic images (like the wood background on my card today) and the other has co-ordinating designs. If you don't have this one you will love it! Its $17.50 for 48 6"x6" sheets... so perfect for all your paper creations. The colours are fresh and fun... Im going to miss it! Its still available in the Online Store until the 31st May.
As for the Daisy Delight bundle, you'll be able to purchase that from the 1st June.
Here's a close up of my Daisy Card today...
